It was a morning of crying and wailing in Biase Local Government area of Cross River State as an 18 seater bus filled with passengers (including children) involved in a fatal crash that saw 16 out of the 18 passengers dead.

The driver of the bus with one other lucky passenger survived the crash but with greater injuries.


In one of the pictures, you will see one part of one guys skull was cut widely open.......

The accident was said to be caused by the slippery road because early morning rain and the driver was also over speeding too.

On Sunday, May 31st 2015, the people of Onitsha in Anambra State witnessed the most traumatized fire incident ever...The accident that claimed the lives of over 69 people including a pregnant woman.

Well, it wasn't all bad as few families still have some songs of praise in their mouth as their brothers did not finally go to the world beyond due to the inferno but actually in different hospitals in Onitsha battling for life.

According to an eye witness that visited the scene, a popular furniture market behind Odera street in Awka, Anambra State has been razed by fire and goods worth over 50 million naira lost to the inferno.

The fire which started late yesterday, affected the major part of the market before the Anambra State Fire Service could get to the scene.

The more pathetic part, is that the Fire Service Commission responded to the urgent call but with half drum of water which could barely quench the ravaging fire.


The incident which damaged their equipments, tools and finished products also affected a nearby house partially.

Though the cause of the disaster is still sketchy, but the marketers are laying accusing fingers on the residents that usually burn refuse dump near the market.

A man is suing a famous actress, Zhao Wei for staring at him from the TV.

The pop singer and film producer, is one of China's most famous stars and has been appearing in on the prime-time ratings winner Tiger Mom since it started in May.

The China Times reports from the People's Court of Shanghai Pudong's New District that the man has become upset with the 39-year old actress intense stares and has accused her of causing "spiritual damage".


The actress' character is described as "emotionally unstable", giving piercing stares to her husband and daughter in the drama.

The man is even seeking compensation, for the 'spiritual damage' hehehe.

After the awards night yesterday, Kim and Kanye joined others for dinner....The dinner according to Kim k would have turned sour if not for Pharell and Helen.

Every bride wants to look their best on her wedding day but one woman lived to regret trying to enhance her appearance by having cosmetic surgery abroad.

Dawn Moore, 42, from Canvey Island, Essex, was not only left with lopsided 38DD breasts but had a tummy tuck so badly botched it caused her stomach to explode.

The mother of three splashed out £2,300 on the boob job in January 2013 to boost her 36B assets for her husband Joe, 54, who proposed in 2010. But a week after the surgery her breasts were wonky
rather than voluptuous.

When she went back to complain she was told it would take a year for them to settle so she shouldn't worry. A a result, Dawn had no qualms about returning to the surgery for a tummy tuck at a cost of £4,000 - half the price it would cost for the surgery in the UK.

But as she was recovering from the second op she caught a flesh-eating bug which ate away at her newly-flat stomach. Dawn flew back to Britain, where Joe, a roofer, took her straight to the hospital where surgeons rushed her into theatre.

She said:

'When I woke up, I was attached to tubes and wires. A doctor explained I'd contracted necrosis, a flesh-eating bug, in my stomach. They'd found a large mass of dead tissue. They didn't know for sure what caused it, but it could have been due to poor blood supply during surgery. I was fitted with a colostomy bag and went home in more pain than ever.'

Despite her ordeal, Dawn was determined for her wedding to Joe to go ahead and they proceeded with plans to tie the knot in Mauritius in July 2013.

This is a terrible injustice.

Dropping her daughter off for elementary school, Charlena Cook, 8 months pregnant in Barstow, California ended up being forcefully handcuffed and wrestled to the ground for no reason whatsoever. Not only was this excessive, the entire ordeal was completely uncalled for.The ACLU fought to have the video released and also announced that all charges were dropped against Charlena.


As you will see in the video below, an employee of the school called police after she claimed she and the pregnant mother argued over a parking spot - which is not illegal. Nobody was assaulted and no property damage took place.

The police, though, were determined that this was a crime that required brute force.

A super-cute miracle baby who was born with 12 fingers and 12 toes has left doctors scratching their heads.
Before adorable Jacob Duffy entered the world in November last year, there was no indication that anything was wrong with him.

However, shortly after his arrival, mum Rachael Hendry 24, and dad John Duffy, 28, were shocked to discover that he had an extra digit on each of his four limbs.
The seven-month-old tot has an undiagnosed complex syndrome which has left him with a number of defects, including a hole in the heart and eye conditions.

Jacob, from Leeds, West Yorks, also suffers from coloboma, nystagmus and microphthalmia as well as cataracts, leaving him severely sight impaired.

One-in-10,000 condition coloboma causes gaps in the structure of the eye and poorly Jacob suffers from it at every layer in both eyes.

Microphthalmia has left him with one eyeball smaller than the other while he also has nystagmus which causes his eyes to twitch.

Doctors expect the small patent foramen ovale hole in his heart to heal before his first birthday and are reluctant to put him under anaesthetic to operate before then.

As well as his extra fingers, Jacob's thumbs are triphalangeal which gives them an extra joint.
He also has a dairy milk allergy, a problem with swallowing and he requires a thickened feed.
