This Giant Snake has eaten something larger than it. Though the skin is elastic and can let it swallow the huge object, it couldn’t easily get away with it. What a heavy load? Operation to save the poor girl is on Now the question is will she survive

This little girl was rushed to the hospital yesterday after her madam asked her to sit on a burning electric cooker because she allegedly urinated in bed. This happened in the Gwarimpa area of Abuja. So barbaric! I’m going to expose the woman in a subsequent post…I’m just waiting for details from the people who treated the girl yesterday. See another photo below:

The Police had arrested the family of the lady and the family of the man, (who is 20 years old) the man himself had ran away. The 12 year-old girl is in Primary 3.The scan was done and a doctor told us that she is about 7 months pregnant. He thinks there there could be a problem with the legs of the child, but he wasn’t sure. We took the little girl to Amecet, gave her food and one of the staff has spend some time with her this afternoon. To see if she knows what’s going on. She is really a child and is even happy that she gets a baby. It will be a big problem, she is too small for a natural birth, it probably should be a caesarian. She played Memory with the other children and I could cry, to see her sitting there with that big belly, this will be really a child with a child. And while she should be able to play and have fun, she is getting a baby. Some things I just can not understand, they make me angry! Amecet n’ainapakin (Shelter of Peace) is a ministry of Youth With A Mission (YWAM)in Soroti, Uganda. We are reaching out to HIV infected and affected children. We also are caring for new born babies, who lost their mother after the delivery. The third group of children we help, are children who need a safe place, they mostly come via the police.

LAGOS — Operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja, Lagos have smashed a syndicate that specialised in selling human parts, arresting three of its members. The suspects are two popular herbalists in Sagamu area and a mother of two whose husband was alleged to be a supplier of the human parts. Recovered from the suspects were two human skulls suspected to have been procured from a graveyard. Their arrest, according to Police sources, followed an intelligence report received by the Lagos State Police Command on activities of human parts dealers, which made the Commander SARS, Abba Kyari, to embark on a manhunt, that led to the arrest of the three suspects, Mustapha Muritala, Sunday Oluyeba and Adenike Olanrewaju, with others still at large in Ojumerin area of Sagamu, Ogun State. Suspects’ account During interrogation, 42-year-old Murtala said he ventured into the business two years ago following an offer of N30,000 for a human skull. According to the father of one, “I am a herbalist from Sagamu, Ogun State. I was introduced to human parts business by one Sunday Oluyeba I knew through my friends, Olanipekun and Kazim, three years ago. “My friends asked me to get native birds called eyeoshi and eyeoke, and I succeeded in getting them. They later came and requested a human head with an offer of N30,000. They said they wanted to use it to prepare concoction for a pregnant woman in labour . “They told me they also use human parts to prepare concoction for women who have difficulty in getting pregnant. What they do is to grind the human skull, mix it with water and give to the woman to drink. Such concoction cleanses the stomach, after which she would become pregnant. “Sunday brought the human head and I paid him N15,000 for it. This is the second time I am buying a human skull from him. I do not know where he got them from.” How I was arrested “I was going about my herbal business when a man came and demanded human skull. As I handed the nylon where I kept it to him, some men I later discovered to be policemen swooped on me. I have never killed anyone in my life.” After his arrest, he was made to put a call across to his partner in crime, Oluyeba, demanding a human head. Oluleba could not make it but instructed one of his herbalist friends,Baba Beji, to go for the supply. He was arrested when he got there. His confessional statement led operatives to another suspect in Sagamu. The suspect, Juwon Olarewaju, another herbalist, reportedly fled on sighting the policemen but his wife was arrested instead. Mrs Olarewaju, 34, in her statement to operatives, expressed shock over the sales of human parts by her husband. According to her, “I have been married to Juwon for five years and we have two children. My husband is a herbalist but I didn’t know he was dealing in human parts. I was arrested in my house at about 2am over the weekend. I swear, I didn’t know anything about all these. I was arrested because my husband whom they came to arrest ran away. “These people implicated my husband in the matter; they said my husband supplied them with a human head.” The suspects, as gathered, would be charged to court soon. http:// www.vanguardngr. com/2014/08/ offered- n30000-h uman-skull-susp ect/ #sthash.6MSoEl0V .dpuf

The Limpopo crooner wasn’t ashamed of his local meal but shared it with his thousands of fans in delight! Looks like not every Nigerian celebrity takes the usual bread, omelet, tea, coffee or noodles for breakfast. Popular music starKCeetakesgarri(dried grounded cassava + palm oil) mixed with fried groundnut and milk for breakfast and he’s so proud of it. The“Limpopo” singer took to Instagram to post an image of him rocking a blue Adiddas sportswear ready to devour his local morning meal. He wrote: “I remember when I was in Ajegunle no garri no sugar talkless of milk or groundnuts but thank GOD for today….#beliveinyourself cos #OGADINMA and if you believe say #OGADINMA” Even though the singer never stated if he takes garri every morning as breakfast,Kceeseemed grateful to God for all the blessings he’s received over time. At least the award winner now lives in a mansion in Lagos, rides the best cars and wears the most expensive jewelleries and finest clothes. So, we join him to say “#OGADINMA”

Igbo People Can Do Anything To Make Money Three business associates, an Igbo man, a Yoruba man and a Chinese man, went to eat lunch together at a restaurant in Surulere. While in the middle of their meal, a fly came in through the window. It flew across the table to where the Igbo man was but he just waved his hands to chase it away. The fly then went to where the Yoruba man was, he also chased it away. Finally, the fly then went to where the Chinese man was and was flying close to his ears. The Chinese man looked at the fly for sometime and then grabbed it, put it in his mouth and swallowed it. The other men saw this but just kept on eating. About Five minutes later, another fly came in and flew to the Yoruba man who just chased it away again. It then flew on to the Igbo man but this time he did not chase the fly, he looked at it for sometime and then grabbed it. He then turned to the Chinese man and asked “how much you go buy am?”

The men of the Ogun State Police Command attached to the anti-crime patrol team in the Agbara Police Division on Friday arrested three students of ICT Polytechnic, Igbesa, in the Ado Odo/Ota Local Government Area. The police said the suspects threatened to kill another student if he failed to become a member of Vikings Confraternity. According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, the suspects ─ Kenneth Mokwunye, Adigun David and Okwuma Obiora ─ have been threatening to kill another student for failing to join their cult group. He said, “Based on this threat, the student eventually raised the alarm and the police probed into the allegation before the arrest of the suspects.” Adejobi said the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikemefuna Okoye, commended the victimised student for exposing the threats of the suspected cultists. In another development, police detectives attached to Ota and Ogijo divisions of the command arrested some suspected armed robbers with arms at different locations in the state. The detectives who were on routine night patrol along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway accosted some men at a filling station. Adejobi said during interrogation, the young men opened fire on the police vehicle and fled. He said, “They were pursued by the policemen and two of them were arrested while one escaped. “The suspects arrested are Yusuf Ahmed and Sunday Oluleye. Some locally-made pistols were recovered from them. Other items recovered from them include four expended and 20 live cartridges and assorted charms. “While the anti -robbery team attached to Ogijo Police Copyright PUNCH.All rights reserved. purplesummer: I've actually witnessed a traditional wedding where the groom was represented by his brother. The couple still live together right now.Buh etz Rare! |
Scenario 1 It is one day before your traditional wedding; your finance just got a call to come for an impromptu interview. It’s his dream job; this would be the final interview after series of tests and interviews. As hard as he has tried, the interview won’t be rescheduled. Your parents and his parents can’t bear the thought of you sitting next to an empty seat, so they have all agreed that his younger brother will wear his clothes and be your groom for the traditional wedding. Scenario 2 Your fiancée lives in the UK, he went in as a student but now needs a visa that would allow him stay back and work. He had put in his visa application many months ago but now it is one week to your wedding and there is still no response to his application. If he withdraws his application and comes to Nigeria without his visa, you will both be stuck in Nigeria, and that isn’t a risk his parent or your parents are willing to take. So, they agreed that his older brother should represent him at both the traditional wedding and church wedding. The vows will have your fiancé s name, but his brother will say them to you. What will you do if you are in any of these situations? Cancel the wedding? Go ahead without a groom? Agree to go ahead with your fiancé’s brother? |
The news has been filled with Ebola: Oh yes...the deadly ebola! Thank God it can be prevented if we are careful where we go and on point with our hygiene. Hmmmm....I bought hand sanitizers about a month ago, before the whole Ebola drama and the tiny bottle cost aboutN300. I was at a supermarket yesterday and that same tiny sized hand sanitizer hadN1300 labelled on it. You could tell the price tag was fresh. Just imagine that! Of course that gingered me to think about ways to make my own hand sanitizer because I cannot come and go and use all my salary to buy that small pangolo sanitizer. If you have the time you can try making your own sanitizer! I like senrenere so I used: *.8-10 drops of Lavender Essential oil (I would have preferred orange because I don't like the scent of lavender) *.1/3 cup of K-Y Gel or some people use Aloe Vera Gel ( KY GEL has glycerin so it will be moisturizing for your hands) *.2/3 cup of Rubbing Alcohol (methylated spirit) *.Empty bottle (to pour in your sanitizer when made) *.Glass bowl for mixing (because essential oils can leave almost a permanent flavour on plastic) *.Daaazaaaal!Essential oils have antiseptic properties, also rubbing alcohol (methylated spirit) is a great disinfectant and it dries up instantly (like ogogoro) so in actual fact, you can use any of the items alone to sanitize your surroundings. You can add water to rubbing alcohol and that can be your sanitizer; it doesn't have to always be in a gel form. Method: Mix these items together, shake vigorously until it blends. Mine had bits of the K-Y Gel but after leavening it for a few hours, it all melted and was a perfect gel! Try it! |
