The Southside Squad aka The Young Rappers Squad is a newly formed Rap Hip-Hop/R&B musical group based in Yenagoa,Bayelsa State(Southside,BY City),Nigeria.
The Clique which was formed by two talented young upcoming rappers by name,Lil Thanny and Young Shizzle,was formed with the sole aim of bringing their dreams of becoming a world class hip-hop superstars to reality and to show the whole world what they've got to give in their own way.
The group which was formed on 20th of october 2006,have three members which is made up of Lil Thanny,Young Shizzle and a female R&B artist by name Blessing.
Presently,the clique is working seriously to see the survival of the clique so they can achieve what they want to achieve in the nearest future.
The squad which have some underground songs,are currently working on their debut singles which will be featuring about 5 tracks and will feature hit tracks like "CLUBBIN","LET'S RIDE","TAKE YOU HIGHER" AND "GRINDIN".The tracks will hit the airwaves and online as soon as possible.
They hope to release their debut album with their label,Southsiders Records before the end of this year.
