I don laugh die for this hospital bed, una no go kill me at all.

Since I took inn DH no dey gree near me lialia, but the problem is I noticed am always very very dry no matter how I try it remains dry making it difficult for the show to start. I don't know what kpekusing is like for now, coupled with the issue at hand.

1. the sac reseals. its rare but happens. It closes, fills back n d baby lives.
2. baby dies because deres no fluid
3. labour sets in wch is very likely
4. Since d water broke, deres high risk for an infection. If infection sets in, mom n baby die. d OBGYN wil den induce delivery to save d mom n uterus(womb) for anoda baby.


he said u shd do dese things:
1. observe STRICT bed rest,
2. eat a lot of protein,
3. tk lotssssss of water
4.monitor ur temperature because of risk of infection to d baby
5. b put on antibiotics (IV)
6. b very prayerful
7. ask questions from ur docs so u can b well informed

he said dis is d roughest period, once d baby can enter 28 wks, survival rate is increased. dat since u r nt havin contractns, der is hope because most PPROM cases go into labour within 48hrs- 7days.

I believe in miracles, cry to God in desperation. it's well dear. lots of hugs.
Go online n read positive stories of women who had PROM bt delivered d same babies despite doctors report.

PS- I forgot to add dat he said d hosp shd av a fully equipped neonatal unit.

Pls ask him what he think I should do or take Though I am still in the hospital(golden cross festac) any way. They baby heart beat is still ok but the fluid is inadequate. I take enough fluid and they give me drugs.

it is well sister. u will carry dis baby to term n deliver safely. I showed my dad (who's a doctor) d scan report & he said it can be corrected once u r in good hands so av faith & b encouraged dt d good Lord who has brought u dis far won't leave u desolate.

I went to another hospital and was admitted immediately for close monitoring, thanks for for all ur wonderful prayer, God is in control and the baby heart beat is still ok, God bless u all and deliver us safely IJN.

Cases of patients having oligohydraminous @ 20weeks and managed til abt 30weeks and d baby was delivered. Pls do u hv a copy of the scan,u can send it to kafyamat4u@gmail.com,let me discuss wit an obs&gynae then let's see ao God can can use us for ourselves. Pls ensure adequate/complete bed rest if possible and increase ur hydration(fluid intake as much as u can tolerate) expecting ur reply

Moderately active and viable fetus in breech presentation and longitudinal lie.
Posteriorly located placenta with grade 1 maturity.
Normal fetal cardiac activity notedgross reduced amniotic liquor volume iss noted.
Cervical length measures- 39mm.
BPD=51mm.
FL=40mm
AC=203mm
GA=23 weeks + 05days
EDD=01/05/15 +/- 2 weeks
EFW=0.57kg.
No gross fetal anomaly seen on scan.

Impression
-viable single.
-severe opligohydramnios.
-? PROM

Am just coming back from the hospital and scan scan says I have severe oligohydramnios (prom), that the chances of my baby surviving is limited. Pls I need ur prayers, this can not happen to me.

Help pls! I am 22 weeks and just noticed water coming out of me even when am not pressed.

So my birth story...

Like I said earlier I was admitted to the hospital be cos my amonic fluid level was low. Got there, was already 2cm dilated, was induced and had my water broken when I was 3 cm. I got to 5 cm and the contractions were not progressing much for the next 3 hrs. I was then given an increased induction dose and the balloon was inserted. Within 3 hrs I had progressed to 10cm. I was told to push. Men that part no easy ..lol... After 30mins, my lovely full haired dimpled beautiful princess came out and let me tell you she was screaming her lungs out. All the pains just faded away. She arrived at 1.35am weighing 3.3kg and I have never seen a more prettier sight.

I salute every mother here and those who have gone before us in this journey. Truly women we are amazing. GOD richly bless you.

I might be new to this trend but not in trying to conceive. i have gone through must of the posts here and realized that almost all of us faced similar problem one way or the other. All i want to say is never loss hope. if i for one can get pregnant after ten years of ttc then every mother must surely smile one day. After all the humiliations for ten years not even a miscarriage God has finally blessed me. Right now i am 15 weeks old. As we continue to pray for one another may God see us through in Jesus name Amen.

please i will want to know if any one was place on vasopring during pregnancy and how long the person took it? This is because the hospital i did ivf is very far from me so i decided to register for antenatal in another hospital. i found it very reluctant to tell them i conceived through ivf. Though before i left the ivf clinic, i was told to continue with the vasopring but i don't know for how long.

Here is my birth story: my Edd was 21/10/14, my Edd came and pass without any sign of labour,I was worried I went to see my doctor,He said I sud relax that if by next wk I did not see any sign he will induce me.I went back home weekend came and pass no sign was observed,On monday I started havin slight back and tommy pain, I went inside τ̅☺ lie down waitin for d strong pain.suddenly I heard one sound from my tummy I first tot may be my water has broke I stood up from bed to check, what I saw scared me everywhere is filled wit blood.I was d only one at home I ran to the bathroom the blood was still gushin I had to call my sister inlaw who is nearby she came and took me to hospital. The doctor said he wants to examine me I removed the big towel I used cos 10 pads can not soak the blood that do come out at interval, he was shocked wen he saw the blood because I don't av any pregnancy complication. I was rushed quickly in to the ultrasound room and I was told after d scan that my placenta is in d right place but it has detached from the baby therefore the baby wud av started swallowin blood. C/s is d only solution I accepted my fate. To make d matter worse my blood group is O negative and wit d blood av lost d doctor said we sud go and get 2pint of blood ready,one of them suggested that they sud 1st check my pcv,To d glory of God my pcv came out 38% they said they can continue and we sud not worry about blood. 30min after my princess was brought out alive weighin 3.5kg without avin any problem,the doctor have already told my husband before d C/s dt my baby wud be no more that they will only save me cos she wud av drank more than enough blood but doctor jesus surprised them by savin me and my baby. Indeed God is great.Am sorry for d long epistle.

Am excited oh! I Thk God that now am much ok and free from this problem. There is no need for doubts because It was indeed a harrowing encounter for my years with life itching seriously after every bath. But as at today I gotten treated with new scientific breakthrough product and treatment therapy from Dr.Lanndrew who is an exceptional Australian trained Nigerian skin doctor. He helped me and provided me consistent treatment to defeat this problem. I thk God for using him oh. Atleast there are still good ppl in Nigeria doing great things. My story and ordeal started since 2003 during which i ve under gone series of diagnoses/medications to know what causes my itching after bath, but to no avail. It is always discomforting for a young man to spend more than 20 minutes in the bathroom and spend another 40 minutes scratching and pinching ones body. And most times after working for a long time or sweating profusely i was never be myself until after 40 minutes later or about an hour. During hot season it is always unbearable I was afraid of sweating to start itching again. I avoided my friends to avoid embarrassment if it started. Using cold water to bath was like hell on earth, Unless i use hot water atleast d itching be less worse. This is a life troubling disease that has no trace becos i ve spent alot on drugs and herbs on illment yet no result. I came across speculative articles online that said rheumatism and other condtns are the likely cause of it but i wasnt really sure and i was afraid of taking junks as drugs. Then, after years of searching and viewed d internet for solution I finally came across an online message on Nairaland from a contributor named calaharry who gave a detailed info on how to solve this years of my nightmare of itchg after my bath. I emailed them and paid for product which was quickly delivered to me by DHL, then used their product and saw my life got better. Though at first being a Nigerian I thought the info was a scam like others, but it is truely a genuine cause by very humane ppl after they who always willing to help me sincerely overcome this travails and it done on me now that there are still very honest Nigerians doing good works both home and abroad. In fact this is d reason I was amazed to celebrate and share my success story. I went back again wen dere was no improvement. He gave me diazepam to be taken @night for 3days...but d pain still persist after the 3 days...wat can I do to relieve this pain. Am also in my 1st trimester and remember I had such pains for like a week or so and became scared thinking I was about losing my baby. when I browsed the net I read that some women experience it during their 1st trimester. Not withstanding you can still go for scan to avoid had I known. Are you seeing blood?

Thank u mamas for the well wishes. Here goes my story..

Changed my hospital at 37 weeks. . The hospital ran a test and was positive for diabetes( something I new knew I had).
Was told I won't be allowed to get to 40 weeks and was to come the next day to be induced as it was urgent and baby's heart rate was also dropping. Being a first time mum, I cried my eyes out at my doctors.. All efforts to calm my fears were fruitless.
Fast forward to the next day, I packed my bags and drove to d hospital and was admitted..
Then they started, they used something called catheter (oh boi!, do was painful and uncomfortable ) and inserted to ripen the cervix. 12 hrs later, cytotec was inserted into d vjay, 4 hrs later, d doc inserted another dose.. then I slept off.
woke up around 4pm to cramps I Kdnt explain, complained to the nurses and was told it's normal as labour has started.
Was so excited as I was sure I would hold my baby soon.. then d pain became intense and was wheeled to labour ward..
Hubby came from work to join. I was screaming and wen I was checked at 7pm, was told v only dialated to 2cm and I still v a long way to go(modaarann).then I felt a sound in my tummy do brut anoda pain and was told I just lost my mucus plug. I started crying and using breathing techniques which wasn't working.
Fast forward to 10pm, d midwife checked again and I was only dialated to 3 cm again.. Then I knew I was in for it. I started begin for cs to help reduce d pain.... begged for pain relief and d midwife gave me ppm injection, I was so mad and said tins I Kdnt remember to her.then I weeded on d bed and was informed my water was leaking.
Past 11pm, I needed to poo, told d nurses, nd was told not to try it so won't rupture membranes, I tried to hold back but it kept coming. I couldn't care less anymore, I so over pooed on d bed I rubbed d poo on hubby's shirt.. then they had to call d doc to come and get my cs ready.
Ws about gettin my injection for the cs,Was so uncomfortable, I had to stand from d bed and squat. As I stood, noticed I couldn't close my legs and told d nurse, she asked me to lie to check... she screamed and told me it's d babies head. And asked me to push..With 2 pushes, my princess came out at 11:25 weighing 3.01kg. labour lasted about 8hrs

Am 12weeks old and did a scan just resently, realising that my baby's head is not pointing to the pelvic made me scared. The head is rather pointing to my left hand side and the leg to my right. Pls I want to know if it will later change position or remain like that.

I can't wait to start experiencing all this punches and kicks like other mummy's in the house. Bear it, its the joy of womanhood.

Congratulations @Lioha: Our God is ever Faithful. I can imagine all you've been through. I was also ttc. My marraige will be 7yrs on the 25th of October, this year. I pray for you that the Angels of the Lord will guide your LO and yourself. Your nine months will be one of the most beautiful nine months of your marraige. You and LO will be healthy all thru and you will deliver like the Hebrew women.
