Nferyn,

You must either love to argue or you dont even trust your own decisions. I thot we had dropped this issue.

Okay i agree with you and all your views.............. Now can we move on.

And by the way, that joke of yours, doesnt really justify anything.
Christianity Etc › Re: Pentecostal/Catholic Marriages: Why the Disagreement? by lioness(f): 11:09am On Oct 17, 2005
[Sorry for being the obnoxious male and wanting to have the last word, but the issue wasn't entirely closed to me.]

Nothing tobe sorry about. Its not a male thing its just you. Hope i wont have to explain this rolleyes

[Now I know that There's no pattern to a successful marriage actually equals I guess you just explain your kind of marriage.
I just noticed a negative tone to I guess you just explain your kind of marriage, but is was unwarranted]

They mean 2 entirely different things. And for goodness sake Nferyn, your marriage isnt the issue on ground. If you've got doubts or issues with your marriage, post a topic.

Da lioness is a gonna ROAR at you soon

[What's that supposed to mean?/quote]  exactly what it reads.  For someone with a better choice of words, i'd expect you'd understand simplier words.  Or are u going toask me toexplainwhat i've just said again.

[No, but I can attest to the fact that there is no impediment to succes. And its slightly arrogant (for a lack of better words, I don't mean anything so harsh) to imply that I cannot have any insight in christianity because I'm no christian. Shouldn't one study lions in the wild because you're not a lion yourself. Don't you have anythin meaningful to say becasue your a non-lion. Maybe it even gives you more insight because you have a little more distance
/quote]Well, if u feel u shd know better about christainity because ur outside the boat...  well thumps up for u then. These days, anything can "shele".
[Now that's funny.
Do you mean that marriages between atheists and christians have more chance of succeeding than those between christians of different denominations? /quote] Now i have said no such thing.  like u said, there's no impedi...  grin huh to success.

No, but I'm married to a strong christian. And I can speak from personal experience that a loving marriage between even a christian and an atheist is possible
I guess you just explain your kind of marriage. And again, the fact that your maaried to a "strong christain" does nt make u one or even gives you an insight to what a christain race or challenge is all about. You can only speak from someone else's experience and not yours and thats a big difference.

And about understanding where I come from... do you? Can you explain?
[/quo
I'll understand certain statements you made because ur not so religious
Christianity Etc › Re: Pentecostal/Catholic Marriages: Why the Disagreement? by lioness(f): 9:37am On Oct 17, 2005
@Scopion, you cant marry just anyone okay. If you believe in Jesus, you sure cant marry an erkist cos they dont.
And enough with this talk of we are serve one God but different medium. wetin be dat? So go and marry a shrine princess na, afterall, its still one God. Dont you know its the medium that sets the worship/God and the authority.

Take am easy o.................. dont lemme start church in here now wink

EDDYY Tellls where @ thou?

Not sleeping i hope rolleyes

Anyway, @ nferyn, i sense in my spirit that your not a religious person and probably dont go to church or even believe so deep in God let alone Christ.
If that is the case, then i can understand where ur coming from.

But Y mi? sound like a religious gurl whose christain ethics/beliefs are important to her. So i think she should carefully consider this prayerfully. Y mi? I wont say u shd drop Mr catholic but I'd askyou to view his personal r/ship with God. How is he as a person commited to God. Gurl u aint marrying Church o. Na the bobo u dey marry and even if u want to go ahead with d marriage, you guys can agree to go to the Catholic charismatic church. Its still catholic but with a pentecostal worship setting. That way everyone is happy.
Sometimes we Shd put this so-called love aside and use our heads awhile, cos love isnt just everything........................................ am out.

Its funny you should say that Danfo 'because i think its you who do not get the point.
My point - The harm has been done, we totally condem this act, he will bear the consequences and others will learn but don't call him a thief until proven to be one.
My point 2 - Fellow nigerians like you going around with stones to kill him wont help matters. for instance your statement that nigeria [your own country] is ruled by thieves is bad. It really doesnt help the image of other nigerians or the country. what makes you think they are ALL thieves.
if you re actually a nigerian, no matter which country u reside in or how long you've been there, it wont be fair for you to say that.
Politics › Re: Bayelsa State Governor, Alamieyeseigha, Arrested In London! by lioness(f): 3:58pm On Sep 21, 2005
okay, okay, enough with the condemnation already.  George Bush is there blowing up nations and stealing their oil in the bid of keeping world peace. You don't hear americans castigating him and all.
Good enough we know the capability of our national leaders and we, as true nigerians totally condem this act of crime. It completely dents the image of the few good ones here in the UK, BUT i really don't think that this whole act of we shouting " kill him! kill him! nigerian govt [ooopss we too] are criminals" is going to help restore our image or gain us any respect.

Just a food for thot.............  Would it be right for the british Govt to hold to another nation's governor  for so long? seize his passport and restrict his movement. Why should his court case be in Uk?  Why not hand him over to the fedral govt of his country.  WOULD THE BRITISH GOVT HAD DONE THIS SAME THING TO A US MAYOR, OR ONE OF GEORGE BUSHs' BOYZhuh

we congratulate EFCC. Thats the best thing that has happend to 9jia in a while. But lets be able to handle our own shiit yeah
