Location Location Location that's the very first think of
there are so many care centre nowadays but if you get one close to
business districts e.g where many bank staffs, office workers and mainly
white collar employees, that way the wont have to take a de-tour when going to work
plus they tend to stick with the 'rules'
make sure you workers share your passion not just doing it for the money
and the setting should be comparable to anywhere in the world!

You have really given me lots to think about. Esp having the workers share the same passion. There are lots of things i need to consider but am really not bothered about the nos of daycare around. I dont think we can ever have too many cos kids are born everyday. And the way i look at our society now, every mother is becoming a career woman.

What i intend to do though is go into partnership with a Child pschologist or someone with a degree in that area. Am biz management/finances inclined and am thinking I can establish this center and have my partner run the ground work whil i handle the running, finances and up keep of the center.

Am also thinking of taking a 6months child counseling and psychology trainning

It is a very good idea but first you have to do your market survey because i believe there many of the same business there.You should find out what will make your own day care stand out,security,hygiene,staff,management etc

Hi Tyna 1, I actually intend to bring in an international standard. I know its going to cost me but i'd rather have something standard than under-standard just to make profit. I love kids alot and i cant give them anything short of what will bring them joy.

As a parent, when it comes to child care, a provider that can pick up children from home has a COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE over their competitors.

If you can get a driver who has a van, pay him per month, charge the parents for the extra service and VIOLA, you are doing something that, every parent wants.

Thanks alot. I do intend to do a pick up and drop off services [as the case may be] for parents who would prefer that .  But safety of those kids is another thing am worried about. I'd really hate for kidnappers to get a whole bus full of kids. That would be much difficult to deal with as compared to if they were kidnapped from their parents [ not that i wish for that]

Arent you supposed to have some form of qualification or legal licensing to establish a daycare center
