It's no news that not all applicants who wrote JAMB this year will get admission into the university. Not that they didn't pass, but NO SPACE. Meanwhile, it will interest you to know that certain universities in US and Canada are actually looking for students to take up the scholarships that keep pouring in every academic year from numerous philanthropists! In other words, gone are the days where only the children of the rich study abroad... If your money can't take you there, Your brain can! With an SAT score of 1200 and above, you can get yourself or your ward scholarship opportunities ranging from $20,000 upwards with stipends attached! Check out SCOVERS EDUCATION on Facebook and message them for more information. Scholarships exists for masters and PhD too. Don't let this slip, grab this opportunity |
Aliyu333:hey bro, can you pls share your contact I really need more info so I can plan my month thanks |
I attended a particular church some weeks ago and the pastor said something quite catchy... He told us that those who dont partake of the holy communion will not make it to heaven. How true is this please? He also made mention of another 30% apart from the usual 10% that we all know as tithe, stating that as Christians we are only entitled to 60% of our monthly earnings (10% for tithe and 30% for church project seed) he proved the 30% from the Bible but I wasn't listening cos I was still wondering how we get to go home with just 60% every month. Can someone please expantiate on the 30% offering if it actually exists... No need to insult the pastor, just comment if he's right or not, thanks. |
Prospective Otondo Just incase you've made up your mind to be an introvert all through the time you'll be on camp, I'll advise you to change your mind 'cos you are about to go through the most interesting phase of your 1 year service. Yes! Camp is probably the most fun thing you'll do for the next one year (except for those boring lectures and strenuous parade practices) so enjoy it while it lasts. Here are a few things for you to know. 1. Your Kits! I'm sure you filled in the sizes of the kits you want while registering... Well, the good news is YOU WASTED YOUR TIME. So try keeping at least N1,500 to slim fit the Agbadas and kaftans they'll give you as kits. As for the boot...just hope for the best or better still, exchange with someone at the point of collection. 2. If you are the lazy type and you don't really want to do much on parade ground, just join Red Cross. If you are a Doctor, na joliment be that. 3. If you want to be posted to the state capital of wherever you are posted to, then join the band or dance & drama or Be outstanding during sports activities... OBS (Orientation broadcasting service na 50:50 chance) 4. Stay away from kitchen food (that's if you can afford to do that) I'm talking from personal experience. 5. Watch your spending! As a guy, 'no go dey do pass yourself' As a lady... Once you're cute, you won't have a problem... Your case will be different. 5. Don't sleep with officials to get good posting. It doesn't always work out well for everybody. Remember to socialize... Wish y'all the best! If you're a serving corp member, add yours

So on my way to buy beans and plantain at my usual joint (at least make I chop better before this 19,800 run comot),I saw a new bread label... 2go bread! Then I thought to myself, how profiting would it have been if only 2go had given this a thought. Anyways, that's just on a lighter note. What I really want to know is: Can we call 'naming a bread 2go' a business strategy or a sheer sign of lack of Innovation?

Just a short notification to all prospective corp members. Just as you're about registering for your mobilization, remember to stay sharp. You'll see many people posting adverts for preferential posting or claiming to be nysc officials with the power to help you get posted to the state of your choice; abeg tread softly 70% of them will collect your money and details and you'll end up being posted to somewhere you never expected your ancestors to thread. . . I'm not saying they are all scam, I'm just telling you to stay woke. Everybody dey find money, so don't fall a victim of 'deployment and redeployment scam' A word they say is enough for the wise... This is more than a word, so I've saved you the stress of being 'wise' |
AyamConfidence:Receive understanding! |
It's clearly stated in Malachi. Well, the act wasn't wrong, but you just disobeyed a simple principle. Your 10% isn't meant for the beggar, neither is it meant for your pastor, it's meant for the house of God... If your Pastor decides to spend it for personal use, that's his own business, he'll face the wrath of God in due time... Your conscience didn't prick you cos you were ignorant of the proper way of getting it done. As for the scripture backing your action, go back and read between lines.... It never mentioned tithe. Your tithe is not a gift that you can just give to anyone you feel like giving But you'll still be blessed for that act tho. May God help your understanding of His Word. |
