jpmoriarti: The competition committee was cowed into submission. I think media pressure got the better of them.
They could have retrospectively imposed match ban on the player that allegedly held Vinicius neck, which prompted his show of aggression. That's how it's done everywhere.
So if Vinicius produced a gun and shot someone, he'd be allowed to go free just because he was a target for racial abuse?
Racism has no place in football, in as much as aggression. That you are jumping over hoops to produce imaginary extreme situations to justify your stance further proves my point. Again please say amen to my prayer |

Theflint1: No be im cast am sha, they just needed him for content, these countries make data-driven decisions and best believe they had more than enough data on migration trends. The data was already available. Problem is the UK immigration law is so unstable that you might never tell.. This might be reversed again. I mean they recently introduced switching of visas and now they've stopped it. I'm giving it time the same jobs that brits will avoid, they will open up immigration again to get it filled up |

jpmoriarti: But Vinicius showed aggression to an opponent. Being the subject of a racist chants does not justify his aggression. That's ridiculous.
If it were Lewandowski for touching his nose after 2nd yellow, he was met with 3 match ban.
Real Madrid power in Spain is just too much. There's a reason they're 'the team of the regime'. Are you normal. Someone had his hand around vini's neck and baba was trying to remove it in self defence and you think this is it? Real Madrid Power? You have not seen the Brazilian government going hard on this issue? Or the Spanish government? What Madrid power was there the other times vini experienced this issue? How come it's now that the boy refused to take it and decided enough is enough.. Just accept that you are jealous that a human being was braver than you could ever be in your life and decided to do something about it. I honestly hope that you have no 1 looking up to you and if you do, I honestly pray to God that you are removed from their lives as a person of influence because my God you are damaged product of creation. God forbid |

jpmoriarti: Lmaooo I cannot justify Racism please.
The day white people ran off the elevator I entered while others refused to enter, was one of the most difficult day of my life abroad.
I think I have made my piont already. I just believe Vinicius can find some balance. It would be entirely difficult to control what thousands of fans do in a stadium. There's no given that one or two will still not stray to such extent of racially abusing him. This is a societal problem. I don't think this was racism. I think you had just finished spilling shit from your mouth and so that smell chased everyone away like it's chasing people away from you when you talk here. |

BlueRayDick: Nobody gives anybody any truck o. There's a company called Dangote Sinotruk West Africa limited which is a joint venture between Dangote Industries Ltd & Sinotruk(The chinese truck manfucaturer). The company assembles those sinotruk here in Nigeria and any wholesaler that holds his cash will walk up to them and buy in order to register as one of the numerous transporters under Dangote. Dagote owns like 65% of the company while the chinese own 35%.
They even sell the trucks to outsiders sef. Dangote na proper businessman o, not father christmas Noo.. When I say free, I'm saying the wholesalers are not paying for those trucks that deliver cement to them. Or even if they pay, the price is already added to the money paid for cement. I'm using lafarge maybe Dangote is different there |

BlueRayDick: If u will do trucking business in Nigeria, u need to put some things in place to even think of breaking even. U will need to have ur own auto repairs workshop where u will employ mechanics, panel beaters and other auto technician who will be paid salaries to work on the vehicles either for general servicing or repairs after accident. That way, u will cut a lot of cost which independent mechanic/repairers will charge u.
You need to be friends with road safety and other security agents along the axis where u trucks will be plying if not, na everyday u go dey pay fine to bail ur trucks.
Omo, to do business in Nigeria ehn , no be small thing o. You need a large land for truck park. Like the land gats big die. Also you need to pay for a premium tracking device that can tell you about diesel consumption, when the tracker was disabled, hours of service, speed, harsh breaking and acceleration, free fall. This thing cost gan. Lmao omo these companies dey try sha and again pray that God will help you touch the heart of your drivers and fleet managers😭 |

The person i know told me the profit on one trailer is about 350k
The major advantage of the business is that it sells fast, especially if you are in a good location.
You fit sell one trailer in one week sef[/color] Yeah I know its not coz that time I dey follow our marketers talk and them dey clear me how e dey be. Dangote trucks dey actually act as depot so that it will be easier for customers to even get close to wholesale price. Some of those trucks you see with cement wey dey parked somewhere just dey chill for anybody wey go like buy. Lafarge had no answer to that initially but they ramped up marketing drive to an aggressive level and gave their wholesalers incentives like giving out awards and gifts like brand new jeeps. Omo wholesalers dey very competitive sha. This was the same thing they did to their transporters too. Best transport gets a 5star award. TSL and BHN dey drag. I wonder how BHN handled the news of lafarge opening their own driving school sef 😂 The marketers nor dey ever be like who get money. E get one woman wey dey casually order 100-200 million worth of cement and she dey use Keke because she dey fear kidnap😂😂😂 Which of the trailers? 40ft or 20ft? |

Ibime: Dangote know why he ceded that part of operation. I wonder if it's the Insurance companies bearing the cost of all these burnt trucks, accidents and wear and tear from Nigerian roads
Trucking business is something I actually want to do when I retire from 9 to 5. It's a good business for an accountant to do, because all the revenue and cost elements are fairly predictable within Western setting. Naija setting na anything goes. It's a high risk, high reward business but you need to give it your time and I might even say blood. Serious money dey logistics but you will run mad if you are not ready to get into the mud to have a hold on all parts of the business. Dealing with drivers and transport managers will be your greatest headache but the good thing is there is always available drivers. Please take logistics safety very serious too. It's the one thing that has helped lafarge incur minimum truck damage. Infact it is a major major part of their company business. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 10:52am On May 23, 2023 |
larride: Let’s wait for Prosper to tell us the factory price of Dangote in comparison to Lafarge and BUA. I know lafarge sells to wholesalers for 4400 for supaset and 4300 classic. Now those wholesalers sell at retail by adding at most 500 naira to that price. Lafarge always ensures that the price difference between them and Dangote isn't more than 500 at most. And right now Dangote retail cement price is 4700 in delta state. Meaning the company price is around 4200-4500 if buying from Dangote gan. So I dunno where he said they make 50 percent from. The cement business profit only fully shows when you are a wholesaler and you have to sell alot of cement to see profit that is reasonable. The trucks used to deliver the cement to wholesalers are usually free or factored into the price given (someone can correct me here). 50% of a minimum price of 4000 is 2000 naira. Make baba stop am abeg😂😂 |

BlueRayDick: Can u please share the interview u are referring to here ?
I doubt Dangote is saying the truth if he indeed claimed wholsesalers put almost 50% margin on his products when it gets to their hands.
For starters I know Dangote stopped carrying his products a long time ago. He already hedged that risk by allowing distributors own trucks registered under his franchise to carry products from his depot in Obajana to any part of the country . Most times when those trucks have accidents and people burn them down in the hope of hurting Dangote’s business , they don’t know they are destroying the business of their kinsmen who own the trucks and have it registered under Dangote’s franchise .
For example the risk involved in transporting products from Obajana to Kebbi state is transferred to the wholesaler who is carrying the product ; risks such as paying all security men on the road , escaping robbers in the road and even briaknof having ur truck burnt down when an untoward event happens .
I remember a case in 2021 when one truck killed an okada man in Obajana in 2021 , the youth of the town mobilized and burnt all the trucks on queue waiting to load at the depot . ( These trucks belong to individual businessmen who keyed into Dangote’s logistics franchise and they had to beat the risk on behalf of Dangote ).
I think Dangote is being economical with the truth if he’s claiming wholesalers put as much as 50% margin on his products ex-factory works . If u have a sit-down talk with the wholesalers, u will be surprised those margins aren’t that high as Dangote make them seem .
Lastly I found it very very hard to believe that an entrepreneur will assemble all the factors of production to come up with a product offering to the consumers only to have wholesalers making 50% margin on the final product . It won’t even happen in the most capitalist economies my brother . Plus outside of that Dangote trucks nor dey get taxed by agbero. Coz na Dangote trucks so that man dey lie anyhow. Anyways make dey break well I go call to find out the price wey lafarge dey sell as at today to distributors and the price those ones dey sell |
