So, you also understand that Obi won't be going to churches again after Tinubu is reconfirmed as duely elected, by the tribunal.
Obi is obviously a conditional church goer. 😄 Again I see you have agreed that the Mu-mu ticket was an insult to Christians in general😊 |

Don't worry he'll keep going to churches after his mandate has been returned🙏 Hopefully tinubu will maintain going to the mosque while fighting for his political life🤲 |

airmark: Yeah, Obi was smart utilizing that by calling on 'Daddies' to do the needful. Lmao Obi wasn't smart. He has always gone to churches before, during and now after elections. Tinubu was the one who drove some Christians to Obi. The APC party in their bid to get ahead of the mumu ticket narrative started the talk of Obi using religious lines and the pastors decided to reply to the hypocrisy. Abi is it that Christians decided to look out for their interest in a ticket they found competent enough.. |

BlaqFaze: it was also pity campaign
It works in places like Big Brother... that's why people like Efe, Laycon, Whitemoney...etc wins
But political election is a different beast...
That's why the sisi went on Tv pulling of that crying BS... to ganer pity from weak-minded Christians that watch too much of Hollywood movies and believe in a good old villian and hero story.
PITY VOTES WON'T FLY So he started campaigning since he became a Christian abi? Lmao all those churches he went to was pity campaign till this point |

BlaqFaze: pity campaign... probably for forthcoming court case
He's going to gather more pity from gullible Christians... they'll eventually drown in the sea of their emotions.
Real life is not a disney movie Pity campaign? Lmao so when he did it before campaigns started, what was it called? "pre-religious campaign" |

Drone17: There is a slight difference between politicising religion and playing the religious card as a basis for campaign.
Political campaign is about using your opponent's weakness to gain an advantage. Peter Obi and Atiku used the muslim-muslim same faith ticket of the APC to campaign against them. That is politicising religion, it's different from using religion as a basis for getting votes. But having a muslim and christian vice respectively meant they were not against the religion but only used the same faith ticket of the APC to dissuade people from voting APC. Many APC members left the party because of the same faith issue.
APC themselves also used politicised religion with hope of winning a particular region dominated by Muslims. They didn't base their campaign on establishing Islamic dominance.
That said, the claim that parties played the religious card came mainly from their opposition. Especially APC knowing that their same faith ticket will create tension in many parts of the country, decided to use religion as a weapon against PO by making it sound like he was campaigning in a religious war. That's how low and wicked APC can get. They are willing to tear the nation apart with their propaganda as long as it destroys Peter Obi. Ratata for the last paragraph |
