Mostly, but not always. GRV's own is inexcusable.

It's inexcusable if you grow up in Nigeria, and as an adult, you detest your language and culture while you promote the foreign ones.

However, if you're raised overseas, that's understandable. Still, don't expect people to support you if you come back home and want to run for a gubernatorial post without being able to speak the local language fluently.

So you believe if you grow up in Nigeria, there's no excuse whatsoever for not being able to speak your language and you are a slave and a disgrace.. Right?

The key issue here is GRV's inability to speak Yoruba fluently. Kemi Adeosun didn't serve as governor of any Yoruba state.

The important thing is not him marrying a Fulani or Igbira or Igbo or having an Igbo mum, if you want to serve as governor in a state, you need to be able to speak the language of the people you want to lead.

He can be a Chinedu. It doesn't matter. The main thing is being able to speak the language fluently.

Those Nigerians that won electoral posts in foreign countries understand the language of the people they want to serve.

The local language is a key requirement in serving as governor in a state.

I know many Yorubas (myself inclusive) that supported Obi despite the fact that he's an Igbo. He wants to lead Nigeria, not an Igbo state, and he's qualified to lead the country.

However, GRV isn't qualified to govern a people he doesn't understand their language.

I always see people that can't speak their native language as a disgrace.

That means you see alot of people as disgrace ooo😁
