Your statement sounds like you're not even apportioning any blame to Obi.

I see this as another glaring failure of Obi's leadership or rather glaring lack of one.

To say Obi is a disappointment is a really big understatement. We've lost yet another potential winnable election if the right steps have been taken since after the general elections.
It's as if you guys can't understand the potential level of power and influence this guy could wield.

Obi has failed in galvanising the labor party as a very solid block. The party and it's members are withering away while man flexes with the elites. The same people we try to root out of our political spaces.

I am highly disappointed in Obi.
If this man directed the party in one direction rather than the autopilot it seems to be on. You won't see a divided fan base who are just exhausted with politics.

Whether it was disgust for Obaseki, monetary inducement or tribal sentiments, a lot of people did actually vote for APC. Infact, I watched a video where one LP agent said there was no rigging in his PU but people overwhelmingly voted for APC because APC gave them money and brought food to the PU.

Lets assume they all rejected the money, gifts and food. Maybe PDP would have won and if not, they would have needed heavy amount of rigging like what Wike did in Rivers to make it happen. That would have sent a clear message that no one wants APC.

Probably should have been more diplomatic especially with issues pertaining to the palace, but it's what it is, he'd be alright so too would Asue Ighodalo. I have someone very very close to me who entered America around that 2019 or thereabouts on visiting visa. Last year he got asylum granted and his wife and kid will be traveling to join him permanently this December.

This Edo elections just shows that Nigerians don’t have it in them to vote out failed parties and try out available alternatives .

Obaseki spent first 4 years as an APC governor and the last 4 years as PDP governor. The jury is out on his 8 years and it was unanimously agreed he failed in Edo state (He didn’t do better than Oshiomole of APC his predecessor ) .

Obaseki is the live representation of PDAPC. One would’ve thought the people who live in Edo state under his administration will shun both APC and PDP candidates and vote for the alternative option enmasse , but just look at the people focusing more on who has more structure and who can induce voters the most.

This just shows that Tinubu/APC will win 2027 presidential election irrespective of whether PMS sells for 10k per liter or people are dropping dead on the streets due to hardship .

Make I japa plans just work out, I will be sending prayers to support Nigerians by then ;make God open their eyes so they call stop falling in love with their oppressors .

Look at PDP result here. Tell me what you see. 94% voter turnout, PDP result changed from NIL to 324. Both of them are election riggers. Aisha Yesufu put it best when she said both PDP and APC results are mirror images of each other.
