A professional group, Dignity in Labour (DL) on during the weekend urged the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) to sanction a controversial lawyer, Bar Wale Ojoge Daniel, and his wife, Bola Ojoge Daniel for conspiring to dupe people after Ojoge was strip of his wig and gown last year.



The group said this put into test, the integrity of the NBA as a respected professional body in Nigeria.



It would be recalled that NBA disrobed Ojoge from practicing because of the atrocities he committed and later returned his wig, June last year.

Citing some of the atrocities commited by Ojoge, the group said while on suspension, Ojoge stamped some documents in the name of his wife and signed it himself which is against the ethics of the profession.



DL, which it's members are drawn from all professional organisations in Nigeria, cited many fraudulent cases levelled against the couple as evidence to punish them.



The group in a statement signed by its national president, Adeola Ayinde and the secretary, Abubakar Dogara on Saturday alleged that the story going round that Ojoge & Ojoge chambers collected a contract from several organisations before NBA returned their wigs and gowns last year, noted that it is a punishable offence to do such.



According to the group, plans are in top gear to report Ojoge and few others to the chief Judge of Nigeria, Supreme court of Nigeria, Chief judge in their respective states and corporate organisations.



The statement reads; "having observe activities of Ojoge chambers in recent times, we have resolved to take him and others up on their gross misconduct. We have on our records, how Ojoge and his wife deceived many people to take contract from them, even when serving the punishment of the NBA.



"We are calling on the NBA and other organizations to ensure Ojoge and his wife are severely punished for the atrocities they have committed. We are compiling names of those who have erred against their professions across the country and recommend them for punishment.



"There must be sanity in Nigeria. We cannot continue to do the business as usual. We have a strong believe that Nigeria shall be great again and somebody like Ojoge Daniel who believes in fraud has to be rehabilitated," he said.

Why Amotekun is failing and why Yoruba must liberate self from Northern enslavement - Sunday Igboho (Video)


The present strongman of Yorubaland, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has expressed anger over the restiveness of Fulani herdsmen in Yorubaland.

Igboho who was speaking on Fresh FM with Abolade Salami on a program tagged "Dende Oro", he maintained that it is high time Yoruba must wake up from their slumber and defend their territory.

He frowned at how Fulanis are maltreating Yoruba in their land and acting as if they can go free. He noted that though Amotekun was was formed to tackle crimes by Fulani herdsmen saying but some noticeable failure is traceable to how the security outfit was founded.

According to him, the Fulani herdsmen have superior weapons than what Amotekun corps have. He added that men recruited into the Amotekun are educated persons and not those who are fortified with traditional powers.

He said: "Amotekun shouldn't be for those who are educated local traditionalists who traditionally fortified. Government supposed to involved Are Onakakanfo and other traditionalists like OPC, Agbekoya, local hunters and if I am invited, I'm ready to render help. I have men who can assist if situation gets out of hands.

"We should not blame insecurity on religion but on our bad leaders. Northerners are taking good care of their people in the region while Yoruba are shortchanged. They says we are one Nigeria but Northerners are enjoining the largesse while Yoruba people are suffering", he said.

Sunday Igboho while speaking on Ibarapa evicted notice to Fulani people, he said:" One Jabele called my attention to how Fulani men are maltreating Yoruba in the area and how they are killing, kidnapping and their Seriki collecting ransom from their victims to make life uncomfortable for our people in the area. I intervened after the people and leaders in the area called me to intervene", he said.

Amb. Tugar fingered as unusual queue of passport applicants seen at Nigerian embassy in Germany


On Monday, January 04, 2021 at around 09:000 am, there were unusual number of passport applicants queued at the
Nigeria embassy in Berlin, Germany in honour of the appointment they booked online.

In a viral video online, the over 500 people came to make their new/renew their passport. The number is unusual because according to report, the normal number of persons for passport appointment don't exceed 30 to 40 in number.

Investigation by LiveTimesNG reveals that the development can be traced to incompetence and negligence on the part of the embassy management under the supervision of the serving ambassador in the embassy, Mr. Yusuf Tuggar.

Our finding revealed that the recent anomaly can be traced to the personnel handling passport appointment system and possible cause may be the selling of appointment to the highest bidders.

It was also gathered that there were many professional German companies who can handle the appointment system for the embassy but it has been given to a incompetent organization which allows perpetrations of frauds.

Recall the case allegation of sex for passport against a member of staff in the embassy, Mr. Martins which went viral late last year, there were some critical questions asked but up till date, the embassy management under the leadership of Mr. Yusuf Tuggar were yet to provide Nigerians with answers.

The question is, could the anomalies in the embassy in anyway connected to the reason the head of the security department was reportedly setup by tout operating in collaboration with some member of staff in Nigeria embassy in Berlin? Nigerians in some quarters in a recent report demanding a comprehensive explanation from the serving ambassador.
