Two sisters, 2 year old Chikamso Okpara and 4 year old Chinaza Okpara(right) have been kidnapped in Lagos. According to their father, Emeka Okpara, the sisters were kidnapped at their mother’s salon at Olodi Apapa in Ajegunle on Saturday May 14th. They accompanied their mother to the salon and were playing with themselves when they disappeared.

The family is saying that the apprentice at the salon named Rose kidnapped the children and she had only worked there for three days before kidnapping the children..

The EFCC, on Thursday, April 28, 2016, arraigned the trio of Patience Owerema, Nwakoba N.Francisca and Okafor Kingsley before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy, abuse of office, forgery, impersonation and diversion of funds to the tune of N3, 766, 160.00(Three Million, Seven Hundred and Sixty-six Thousand, One Hundred and Sixty Naira).
These nefarious trio allegedly conspired to divert the terminal benefits of one late Udemba Clement, a former employee of NITEL and father to the petitioner, Emmanuel Udemba. Luck ran out on the criminals,when Emmanuel made efforts to collect his late father’s final entitlement but all to no avail.
After much persistence, it was discovered that the benefits were paid into an account setup by the fraudulent trio.
They all pleaded not guilty. Francisca, the nursing mother, was granted bail on compassionate grounds, while the other two were remanded in Kuje and Suleja prisons.
The case was adjourned till June 14th for further hearings.

The residents of a local community in the Rumuolumeni area of Portharcourt was met with tragedy some days ago when they woke up to find a lady hanging from her own suicide rope.

A resident of the area simply known as Prince Valentine who sent the photos to Tori News, disclosed that the young lady took her own life after her lover dumped her and allegedly married her best friend who was supposed to be her bridesmaid.

Aggrieved students of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu Igbo has cried foul of a fellow colleague from the Department of Mass Communication identified as Leshi Folashade who was bartered by the school security (soldier) having stood her ground that she will be writing her exams since she has her cash payment with her as damage payment mandated on all students.

According to a close colleague who claimed anonymity, trouble started when the Cisco office in the institution got burnt thereby affecting the continuation of exams as students were mandated to make a contribution of 5000 each via POS. A sick s*x pervert has been handed a heavy penalty after her was arraigned in court for tying up a toddler and raping her while also recording the act.

A man convicted of tying an 18-month-old girl to a motel bed and raping her as a video camera rolled is “truly an evil individual’” who deserves to spend the rest of his life locked up, a judge told Eric Devin Masters before sentencing him Thursday to 200 years in prison.

“This incident is one of the most egregious things that I’ve ever had to deal with in dealing with criminal cases for 31 years,” Kent County Circuit Court Judge Mark Trusock said during Thursday’s sentencing hearing. “You are truly an evil individual and we need to make sure that you are never allowed in society.”

He sentenced Masters, 29, to between 50 and 200 years in prison for raping the child at a motel off U.S.-131 in southern Kent County.
Masters apologized for what he concedes are horrible crimes.

“Something horrible was done to me and numbed my emotions to others,” he read from a prepared statement. “And then I committed the same horrible thing to others. With God’s help we can both be healed.

“God is my refuge and salvation and through Him I can be redeemed from these tragedies,” Masters added. “I’m sorry for committing this horrible crime.”

His victim, now 5, remains traumatized, her mother told the judge.

“This man has given my daughter a life sentence that she will never forget,” the woman said through tears. “My daughter is the strongest little girl I know and sometimes I look at her and wonder how she does it.

“I beg you, your Honor, don’t let him get out,” the woman pleaded. “He doesn’t deserve to be in the outside world.”

Doctors at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital ( LUTH) Idi-Araba, Lagos have been accused of causing the death of Ngozi Udebu, a 46 years old married woman and teacher at St. Finbarrs college Yaba on March 28th. Speaking to the Nation, husband of the deceased who is an estate developer, Ausbet Udebu, said professional misconduct by the doctor’s led ‎to the death of his wife on Easter Monday. According to him, the physician diagnosed and treated his late wife of ulcer but the autopsy showed that she died of Asphyxia which is the loss of consciousness due to the body’s inability to deliver oxygen to its tissues.

Narrating how his wife got to LUTH, 56 years old Ausbet said himself and his family members had gone to St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Yaba, Lagos to celebrate Good Friday mass and when they returned, his daughter called him that their mother had severe stomach pain.
“We rushed her to LUTH around 9pm with my wife writhing in pains. She underwent some tests/scan and the results were ready before 7am the following day.”

He said he took the results to the doctors and was asked to wait until they were ready for ward rounds.

Narrating further, Ausbet said“After about 90 minutes, a doctor finally turned up, checked her and said the scan revealed some trace of ulcer. The doctor prescribed Gascol and an injection which were not available at LUTH. I bought the prescribed drugs. Still, there was no relief. The doctor then prescribed another brand of injection called IV NEXIUM. Again, I bought it.”

A man identified as Ejike Nwankwo Ohagba from Ezigbo village, Igbo-Ukwu com­munity, Aguata Local Govern­ment Area of Anambra State on Thursday, April 7, went crazy and threw his mother into an abandoned well in his father’s compound.

He then threw blocks into the well to kill her.

According to Anambra State news, the 30-year-old suspect had earlier in September 2015 allegedly killed two of his siblings in the same well, set his family house ablaze and disappeared only to re­appear last week to kill his mother.

“The suspect’s mother, late Mrs Christiana Nwankwo Ohagba, a widow, took off from where she was taking refuge since her family house was burnt to do some farming with a 14-year old boy, Chiemerie at the family compound. Meanwhile, the source said, the suspect was hiding somewhere within the compound, with his mother completely unaware of the danger lurking around the premises.”
