How much is UK minimum wage, and are their leaders looting their country's common wealth for their generation yet unborn. PhiliptheArab: We don't have these kind of streets in nigeria because we are not ready to pay the kind of taxes that would fund and maintain those kind of streets.
In the UK, if you are living in the city, you pay council tax which ranges from 60000 to 100000 naira monthly depending on the city. That money goes into making the cities look nice
That's why uk cities have great streets.
If we charged that kind of tax in Nigeria, Nigerians would scream.
So we pay scanty taxes and get scanty and bad roads
The bad roads we have in Nigeria are what we can afford. The sad thing is that looting still happens on top |

Matthew 7 vs 21 - 23 paxonel: do you have any scripture to support this notion of yours?
Contrary to your statement, the bible teaches in
John 3:16 ...whosever believeth should not perish but have everlasting life
What if the person going to church has believed have you ever thought of that?
Because as far as the bible is concern unbelievers are those who do not believe in Christ, example Muslims. That's why i asked the question have you ever seen a Muslim in church before? |

Learn to comprehend first before reacting or responding. There are people who attend church regularly, the fact that they attend church regularly those not make them Christians if their way of life falls short of Jesus Christ standard. paxonel: Do you think before talking at all? You are not a Christian. GOTVee:
Even though I've been a born again Christian of over 25 years, I think we Christians really need to let the sleeping Dog lie. I have been to several Arab nations on tourism and Evangelism and I can attest to the fact that Arabic remains one of the unique and outstanding languages on earth. What is the big deal in having Arabic inscriptions on Naira notes and Army uniform? Nigeria is a country of Muslim majority and due to their numerical advantage I think the Muslims deserve to have the Arabic as a national symbol. I mostly prefer to read my bible in Arabic language for better understanding despite being a Christian. The Muslims in this country have never complained of the fact that the national language is English. The Christian missionaries brough English language to Nigeria and our dear Muslim brothers easily accepted it without fuss. Why are we Christians trouble some unnecessarily? We Christians really to be careful not to cause a national disaster |
