as much as I condemn the killing going on in S.A. am just amazed at the number of Nigerians screaming bloody murder on this site.
we should remove the log from our eyes Ist before removing the speck in someone else's eye.
the way we shoot each other down in this country with our words and action (esp. if they dont belong to the same tribe) is equivalent to what s.a is doing to foreigners in their country so before you start to condemn others for their action check yourself 1st.

Concerning transportation I have seen pictures of train in the newspaper am yet to see one in my region, airline are still as expensive as they use to be and am yet to see the buses that gej promised after removal of the subsidy.


And as for power I don't need to say much as you all can testify to this.

I feel your pain and the stress you are going thru however getting a permanent cure for a child with convulsion may be a diff. Task even though most could be effectively managed.


The first thing to do is finding out the cause of these seizures, which could arise if he has had a previous febrile illiness like meningitis, cerebral malaria or encephalitis or if he had any trauma with head injury. The list goes on, the best thing is for him to see a neurologist so detailed investigation could be done and propably place him on anti- convulsants.


But for now whenever he has a seizure pls remain calm most will stop by itself w/o any intervention


Let him lie on his left side, better on the floor so his tongue doesn't roll back and he doesn't choke on his own saliva


Remove all dangerous and sharp obj from his vicinity


Do not place sharp object or spoon in his mouth this can cause more harm than good.



PS. Most seizures in children are caused by disruption of electrical activity of the brain which usu. Resolves by the time the get older

it saddens my heart when I read thru this thread and saw the comments of supposed Christians no wonder the world is the way it is.
Christian you have been called to be light of the world, the salt in a tasteless world you cannot afford to do things the way the world does you have to be transformed by Gods word for their to be any change in ur life.

this is so very true many people dont realise life does not start and end in school, after school is when real life starts school has a way of shedding us but its also prepares us as well.

I think this story needs to be verified. because from my knowledge leukemias are blood disorders (cancers) which modality of treatment is chemotherapy.
from the pics the op posted, that is looking more like a burkitt lymphoma (another blood cancer which is more common in this environment and presents with jaw swelling like in the pics) which is also treated by chemotherapy.
I think the op needs to provide a more verifiable info before people start contributing their money

I find this story too incredible to believe
