slimthugchimee:Bro 15 to 17 hrs light is still someone else's village...dont you think? There should be 24hrs light if we were sincere to eachother in this country. And I live in lagos ...10min drive from govtn house |
engrkaz:I'm a piling contractor and sometimes I get to work from a barge by the river side...the night fisher men in badagry say they dont eat this meat. I dont know why but I believe if you eat crocodile or alligator...please dont ever work on water especially at night....you are a debtor of you do and you may pay with your arm or leg. I have an akwaibom friend...the day our dog saw him...the story was very long, almost as long as the race between both of them. My opinion o! |
sumborri:@OP you managed to catch my apt attention when u said u switched on the light to see clearly what was attacking you...so you people sleep with electricity ? Did this happen in Nigeria or you are abroad? I didn't believe you at first until u said u removed the bulb during your revenge mission...so true true u people use to have light? Or do you run your generator till day break? I know some people do this. Pls explain because for I find it hard to believe that there can be electricity on 2 different days in a week with 2 different light dependent pranks...that's too much of a coincidence... Its either you are lying or Barth Nnaji is back. |
I have watched it...all of it...pls can I get my data back now? Thanks in advance! |

I'm currently on my laptop learning XML, Java, at the same time developing an App...I may not be able to give you a correct answer but I can guide you in the right direction. I dont think its wise to equate the Var ID directly to the database field. I think your should first equate the Var ID to a new variable. And this new variable should be the same with the field name of the ID in the database. So that when you use the Get command to retrieve it from the database...your Var ID will be equated to its value. I hope I haven't said nonsense sha! ![]() *modified* OK you are trying to get the generated Id from php and insert it into your data base OK...wait first...let me search it out This code inserts data from php form to mysql /* Attempt MySQL server connection. Assuming you are running MySQL server with default setting (user 'root' with no password) */ $link = mysqli_connect("localhost", "root", "", "demo" ;// Check connection if($link === false){ die("ERROR: Could not connect. After declining your pitch...they now want to utilize you to boast their spectators...! I smell insincerity, in fact...I suspect...the govt just want to use this medium to steal peoples ideas.... At the end the so called investors won't give you a fathen. We all know APC wasn't prepared but to steal ideas through deceit is just demonic. Npower is very similar to this so I ask, why the totology |
2 x 3 + 3 x 3 = 27.....let me stop here...I dont like this game again....its bad! ![]() |

PigMeat:In mechanical...every lady is a man! |
PigMeat:Possible, the story might be different in universities ... |
PigMeat:My class was full...though only 3 girls ...but we were almost 200...I don't know what the trend is like now. |
PigMeat:During IT...Yr 4. I can't work for salary anymore bro! |
PigMeat:I'm not deviating ...I love mechanical Engrn any day...and even if I had a second chance...I will still study mech. Nigeria forces you to look for bread everywhere ...you will soon understand what I mean. My mechanic opened my engine on friday and I discovered that we can actually make engines in Nigeria...in not blabbing ...let me explain. The engine block is just a container casted with steel or aluminium...the piston sleeves were just fitted into tight grooves in the block with a rubber seal ensuring water and oil dont mix. The cooling water flows freely inside the block but the sleeve prevents this water from entering the combustion chamber where the pistons slide effortlessly. I learnt how to operate a lathe machine during IT. And I can machine a piston for you, I can cast a connecting rod, I can machine a crank shaft...I can machine a valve and can shaft. The only thing that is a major challenge is to cast the engine block because our leaders have vowed that ajaokuta steel will never work as long as they are alive. So we just need to venture outside our field in order to start life. Nigeria is not ready for Mechanical Engineers...at least most of them. |
PigMeat:I'm a mechanical engr...but my first project was a tank farm. And every tank must have a foundation so that's how I picked interest in civil works from the civil consultant assigned to the project. I'm always researching about civil works and my co director is a civil genius ...his buildings are like Photoshop...you wont believe a Nigerian has such eye for detail. I can take you to where he built this one in PH. He is just too passionate about buildings...and I consider myself lucky to have such a guy as a friend...
|
PigMeat:I'm everywhere bro, both Civil and Mechanical...I am experienced in both and even other fields like geotechnics. Won't I eat? |
The Nigerian clime is not prepared or advanced enough for Mechanical guys to thrive exceptionally. Only Civil and building guys become millionaires as soon as they finish NYSC...they are needed like Visa. A small Civil guy can get a bungalow project from a prospective home owner who doesn't want to pay an over experienced Civil Engineer...! But mechanical, the best you can get is a 100k job...it will look fantastic then but with time u feel trapped in it...because 100k is not money as you would soon find out. The best way for Mech engine guys is to be innovative and develop new ideas and products even products associated with other fields of endeavour ....cos mech engine guys are brains and are very good at innovations...my brother this is the only way to out shine your sister engineers in Nigeria. Until Ajokuta steel starts full operation ...Nigeria and Mechanical engineers would never enter the same public transport...not to talk of meeting. |

adebaxton:The idea behind this plan was to have partitions share walls as much as possible...we can happily convert your preferred plan into locotech convention for you or any client...but it will preach its own corresponding cost. And we have vents in the ceiling so no need to worry about beans eaters lol |
johnson232:You are right I wasn't giving out all the info here on NL but I wish I didn't have to hold back. You know in Nigeria people find it hard to get credit for their inventions and breakthroughs ...as I'm talking to you I am currently still at the Federal High Court trying to make a company pay me for infringing on another idea I patented some years back ...its a sorry situation in Nigeria...your good ideas is not good enough to take you higher, first you have to protect it and also channel it properly to be able to benefit from it. It hard believe me...when I finally have my empire I will float a foundation to sponsor and protect inventors in this country and even beyond. Another idiyot I gave a concept to program based on JV for android phones has stopped picking my calls since 2 weeks now and I dont know if he is a cow or he has hijacked it. I just told myself if I see the product word for word years later I just know he stole it and I bet we will be heading back to the FHC. Back to the building issue: First dont worry about the cost of concrete because we had done a the worrying for our client's. For the Engineers and builders in the house our walls are non load bearing walls so they are not as thick as conventional walls (they dont need to be). The mix is 1:2:4 but the "4" is not your normal granite so we were able to exponge the cost of granite. Lastly research has shown that an optimization of the mix can increase concrete compressive strength up to 40N/mm2 in 28 days. And remember our walls are not load bearing so that another plus. You can do your research and see things for your self. If you research on monolithic walls you will see that the thickness ranges from 4 inches down wards and we have carefully mixed different thicknesses for different areas. I hope I answered all your questions...pls if you have more questions you can mail me so that when I reply I can attach the bill of engineering measurement and evaluation BEME. I just pray I dont get banned ...God help me.
