lonelydora:Show me where I passed judgement on Reverend Biodun Fatoyinbo or you owe an apology. Always learn to speak because you have something to say, not because you have to say something. Thank you |
First Ronaldo now Neymar. Like I've said before, rape is a serious crime that should never be handled lightly. In the same vein, false accusation is also a serious crime that should never be handled lightly. I will always want investigations to go deep and find out who is guilty, not just dropped. If it's the accused that is found guilty then he/she must face the full wrath of the law regardless of their status, to serve as deterrent to others. And if it's the accuser that's guilty, he/she MUST of necessity also face the full wrath for false accusation to also serve as a deterrent to other would-be false accusers who are gradually seeing rape accusation as a glamorous and quick pathway to riches and fame. My 2kobo. |
Archbishop Benson Idahosa of blessed memory is the pillar and one of the people who broke the ground for the Pentecostal gospel to flourish in Nigeria. God bless him forevermore. God's general. He has fought his good fight of faith and now retired to enjoy the fruit of his service. We who still live have every chance to serve our God while living |

Aww. Sad one. |
See someone's name Fashion Sakala ![]() I have no doubt in my mind that guy is from Zambia. Those guys and Zimbabweans have the funniest first names in the world. You'll hear Government Otaba Go to school Ndonge Overthrow Mugabe ![]() |
Arsenal need to announce the Pepe signing FAST.That team is ok atleast but it needs a boost for this new season and it's the kind of boost a new marquee signing will provide. |
Wait so you mean to tell me that someone will be credited with over N500m every 7 days just for kicking a ball around? I personally feel professional footballers are the luckiest people on earth. You get paid handsomely and flown around the world just to do something you already love doing. I mean down here we're even willing to pay our money to train with our teams on the streets while someone else is being paid millions to do it. |
If I was to compare that scenario to what's happening in Nigeria I would say the armed thieves are our corrupt politicians, Ozil represents Nigerians who only confront them on twitter and nairaland, while Kolasinac is ... wait, who is our Kolasinac?? Still thinking... Sigh |
maybachmusic:True bro. True |
Afam4eva:Just google America's most iconic sportsmen of all time. Tom Brady won't show up in the top 10. Probably even top 20. But you'll see Jordan up there only behind Bo Jackson. Tom Brady compared to Jordan?? |
Afam4eva:Magic Johnson; Micheal Jordan etc. Come on. These names are only rivalled from football/baseball by Bo Jackson |
The difference a new manager can make. Another huge talent that would've gone away but for the intervention of a new manager who knows the importance of raw young talents |
Lampard is gathering a good group of youngsters at Chelsea and empowering them. Pulisic, Mason Mount, Hudson Odoi, Abraham, Kepa etc. All he needs is give these guys more confidence and to get them to be firing on a more regular basis and also mix in some needed experience in the likes of David Luiz, Kante, Azpilicueta etc and he could end up with an exciting and vibrant team. I'm not a Chelsea supporter but we need everyone firing on all cylinders if Man City are to be challenged this season and for the PL to remain as competitive as always. |
Pity Totally avoidable death |
Oh for the days when Europe's best players were jostling to go to Arsenal. Now it's other clubs' benchwarmers and 14 year olds that will return to their clubs on loan thereby adding no immediate value to the club. Arsenal's board, especially Kroenke: posterity will never be kind on you. For taking this once lofty club into the puddles of European football mediocrity. |
Ohh. Now I get why players like Pogba are coveted by clubs. The value they add to the club is not just on the pitch alone. Because they're divisive figureheads, they're indirectly helping raise the club's market value since they're always in the news, whether for the right or wrong reasons. Everyday we wake up there's one pogba news or the other and it'll somehow surely be linked back to Man Utd so the player and his club remain valid in our consciousness. This was why in 2016 or so Neymar was named the world's most marketable footballer ahead of people like Messi or Hazard who are hardly controversial figures but who are better at playing football.
