Health / Re: Does Some Of Our Medical Doctors, And Nurses Help Kill Us Or Save Us?? by lolayung9(m): 8:04pm On Apr 16, 2015
Without apologies, except for few, Most Nigerian doctors are still leaving in the past. This could be as a result of the 1960 syllabus our lecturers still use to teach our medical students in the medical school, or perhaps our doctors are too lazy to familiarize themselves with the current trends, researches and methods used by other doctors abroad.

Just last week, one of our clients told us how a supposed medical doctor prescribed “Sunday-Sunday Drugs” for his pregnant wife to be taking. We later understood that this drug is no longer been used for anti-malaria. It has been banned long time ago.

There are also cases where a doctor administers Ampicillin to a patient having staphylococcus infections. The doctor believes Staphylococcus is a common bacterium, so any antibiotic can take care of it.

Most Nigerian doctors do not believe that there is something called MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) – this is a type of staphylococcus bacteria that is resistant to antibiotics.

With the incoming administration of the president elect - Buhari, my hope and prayers are that, the obsolete schemes and syllabuses used in Nigeria Higher Institutions would be over-hauled to conform with global trends, I also pleased with our up coming doctors to always go for refresher’s courses and do a lot of reading in their field of practices to improve their selves.

I want to use this opportunity to congratulate the incorruptible people's General for his victory over the people's democratic party at the presidential polls. This is a victory for all Nigerians, so let's join hands together to make our incoming government a successful one. I also wants to appreciate the outgoing president for his high spirit of sportsmanship, I respect you sir. In as much as I always criticises most of your policies I won't fail to give you credit for conducting two credible elections so far and also your achievement in the agricultural sector.
Conclusively, I want to thank all the friends I made through this journey and for the forks am sorry if I in any away took things personal with you it wasn't really my fault is just that I don't play with my believe and struggle. And I most confess that in this journey there were a lot of challenges ranging from insults and threat messages but I took them in good fate as my sacrifice for the CHANGE we all seek for. This is victory for all NIGERIANS

I also learn a serious lesson during this process that As you grow you should learn to choose your fights, ignore miscreants who are mostly bigots and semi-literates who have no life outside this virtual world, kids who only feel relevant on the www. Stop feeding them the attention. You say you have moved on, maintain and sustain the move. Stop looking back.

God Bless Nigeria
God Bless General Buhari
God Bless President GoodLuck Jonathan
God Bless Prof Osinbajo
