This is not only applicable to first borns, been an only child also suffer the same fate. I hate it when they task first born children with so much responsibility, is not fare honestly, you see these children suffering, being the last hope of the family. If you make it, they come for your money, you don't make it they label you as lazy.

Parents please spare your first borns and only child, they didn't beg you to bring them to the world, stop heeping tons of family responsibility on there heads, some die from depression and frustration.

Marriage is a social construct. It’s a bourgeois trap meant to enslave men so as to increase their capacity to the economy. Tell me how men have benefitted from marriage? The indoctrination has been programmed to us from birth that it’s cool to raise a family whereas children lean to their mother most time. I don't know why is a norm in our society today for a grown up man, doing well financially who is not interested in marriage to be considered an irresponsible man. I think a man's decision should be personal not mandatory or tailored by society.

Marriage should be a thing of personal decision not been pressured by society.

Let me throw a little input, most of these married men like pretending in their marital homes, for them to take a stand and say the bitter truth about what marriage entails is a big problem for them. For me I will continue to say it, marriage is a scam, take this from a mature man.

The worst part it is a baby girl and she looks like a mixed version of me very well.

Since we are apart, the highest I have done is zoom call with them.
And after each call, I start drinking to remove the sorrow. The sorrow of having a child that you won't be able to properly father.

Looking at her I just feel overwhelmed with regret. It tormented me for months to know I have a daughter I might never see physically again. Her mother vowed to never visit Nigeria due to bad news she hears about Nigeria

Make sure you are present in the baby life
Or else
You will regret it very well just like I did

If you had stayed single, maybe you would have not had this experience. She is not feeling the pain, you are the one suffering from the trauma she created in your life.
