The euphoria about cryptocurrency over the last five years is one that no one would love to miss, better still it's an excitement everyone would love to partake in. In actual sense, it wasn't this way from the onset, the reception cryptocurrency got when it all started wasn't encouraging, alot of people were in doubt about digital assets contending with the traditional system which our contemporary world plays by, but despite all of this Cryptocurrency is still standing tall and gaining traction daily. Taking a walk down memory lane, cryptocurrency actually made its grand entrance into the world of finance with the launch of Bitcoin, which prides itself as the first successfully launched cryptocurrency, and today Bitcoin is known world wide and has been accepted as a legal tender by alot of businesses and various Nations of the world. Moreover, Bitcoin served as a litmus test, gained massive support among people and equally paved way for other cryptocurrencies to move into the financial market, which have helped boosted and attracted more investors into the financial market, if one doesn't believe in Bitcoin then Ethereum, Solana and a whole variety of others are there to choose from. Without much ado, what then is Cryptocurrency? Cryptocurrency is a type of currency that exists entirely online. It does not have an actual physical form, but exists in a blockchain on a server, which stores data regarding transactions in blocks without personal identifying factors. In other words, cryptocurrencies are not controlled or issued by banks, which is unlike our normal fiat currencies that we're used to. Transactions and other activities carried out on the blockchain are highly encrypted to ensure personal information are kept private irrespective of the transaction being made; thereby giving the user full control and absolute privacy over their finance. Having laid this foundation, let's have a look at why cryptocurrency is a good money making venture and why you ought to benefit from this great venture. Why cryptocurrency is a good money making venture 1. Cryptocurrencies are built on an amazing Technology: Blockchain is the fundamental technology upon which cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano are built on, it's unique way of securely recording and transferring information makes it ideal for any investor. Hence, security of funds is well assured here on blockchain, same way one feels safe with their funds in the bank. For blockchain, once information is added to it and encrypted with a hash, it becomes permanent and unchangeable. Therefore the genuity and uniqueness of this amazing technology is not in doubt. 2. Hedge against inflation: The world's economy has been having a bad time, and inflation seems to be rising along with the various chaos encircling the world. Cryptocurrencies have a limited supply, Bitcoin for example has a maximum supply of 21 million Bitcoin, which implies that the total amount of Bitcoin in existence can never be beyond this number. Inflation usually comes with an increase in prices of commodity and services and ends up making money lose value but that's not the case with cryptocurrencies since there's a limit to it's total existence, whether there's inflation or not the amount of Cryptocurrency you have will be the same and at same value, hence, as the value of your money drops, the value of your cryptocurrency will increase. This further shows that Cryptocurrency isn't just a good venture one should go into but a great tool to use against inflation.
