The Nigerian bar association gave him an award despite his conviction, and applauded him for bringing in more details of Malamis stolen wealth. Now the Malamis camp have responded with this claims. The more Nigerians look the less they see. The Nigerian constitution should be amended so that public office holders should be made to swear not just with the Koran or bible, but by the tradition and deity of the place of origin. If we truly want to get rid of corruption in public offices, this is the solution. People have been swearing by the holy bible and Koran yet stealing of our common patrimony is the order of the day. Until that is done we never see anything.

State police or not, the insecurity have lingered unnecessarily. Since all options have been exhausted, why not give the state policing a chance instead of outrightly debunking it.
