Maybe they simply checked if you had applied with the same NIN more than once, regardless of if the application was submitted or not. Next time it may be better to delete the second application instead of leaving it unsubmitted. Who knows, they may have even shortlisted people who met their criteria but did not click the final submit button.

Any update so far with the shortlisting?

You guys have overcrowded the link making it to crash. It's just 503 service error I'm seeing

I've always maintained that the reasons for this delay are not far fetched. Assuming from a state, the governor sends 2 names, senator 2 names, Reps member 2 names and names coming from other senior men. How will they (PTDF) cope? Who will they favour over the other? Not forgetting that they MAY still consider merit.
If some people could get pins on exam day, what more when it comes to being shortlisted?
Some few years back, the crowd sitting for scholarships wasn't this large owing to ignorance. But with Internet at everyone's finger tips, more people (scholars+politicians) are informed and qualified hence rigorous nature of selecting.
I sat for BEA in 2005 (undergraduate), some of the state's had only 2-5 candidates sitting for Msc. In that case chances of getting shortlisted were high. Today multitudes from a state are sitting for the exam with a large percentage having one connection (contact of influence) or the other.
God help us!

He simply means all [successful] LSS scholars were contacted. Chairman, if you were not contacted (LSS) forget it this year

September semester is no longer feasible (for OSS) I believe the delay is deliberate so as to push it (scholarship/admissions) till next year. If LSS is out there is no justifiable reason why OSS should not be out considering the fact that it was the same exam written on the same day.
So much politicking going as there is so much interest coming from politicians and ogas within the ptdf. God help us!

You can easily know many of the fellows here simply by the way the post or comment here. I can't see my self conversing with some. Potential scholars be acting like *agberros* who can escalate a mild issue.
How does arguing about last year's dates help us today? The top scorers even get called before the official release incase you are not aware. The problem is the *I_Too_Know* syndrome that is in us

I didn't wait for JAMB and post UME this way oh. We just wanna know out fate(s) and that's all. Is this delay a function of what the country has turned into? Nothing is working anymore and the little that was working has ceased to work as well.

Someone should create another thread for other discussions and allow us to wait for this list that is gradually become a 'long thing'

Politicking, wrongful insertions, substitutions, manipulations etc are the reasons for this delay and nothing technical. To produce the results of CBT is now a big deal?

I suspected the call at that time. But Flexisaf came on to say it was just for clarification. I won't be surprised too if those guys that were called end up being d successful candidates.

The day this list will be released will mark the end of this thread. See as graduates are insulting themselves all owing to anxiety

If this list is not released on time I see a civil war breaking out here oh. All these useless comments of late are a fall out of the delay in releasing the result. Let's just calm down and pray that we get shortlisted. The thread is growing day by day but nothing meaningful.
