I honestly can’t understand why people like you remain unconcerned, even as Nigeria is now officially ranked the 12th poorest country in the world. This should be a wake-up call for every well-meaning Nigerian. The APC government has mastered the art of propaganda—selling illusions while the country slides deeper into poverty. We can't afford to stay silent or indifferent. It's time to open our eyes, challenge the narrative, and demand accountable, visionary leadership. Our future—and that of the next generation—depends on it. TimeManager: |
Nigeria is now officially ranked as the 12th poorest country in the world. Calling the APC government "a devil" doesn't even begin to capture the damage they’ve done. They are the grandmasters of propaganda—masters at deception. Sadly, many Nigerians remain too blind to recognize the truth. Racoon: |
They all want to study in the west, aren't they universities in the north or east? |
"Dear future husband, I've made things easy for you, I’ve already collected the list on your behalf. Oya, come and marry" I saw this post on Facebook. Prospective husbands on Nairaland, what do you say?

Sure, this is his time, but it won’t last forever. His moment will surely pass, just not yet. No one stays powerful forever, especially in matters of government. Mark my words. |

I’m referring to the three major tribes as recognized in the Nigerian constitution. Are you seriously trying to make a joke out of this? Even if you're a teenager, wasn’t this taught in primary school? Please allow mature minds to make meaningful contributions and kindly refrain from unnecessary comments. Sharpsharp00123: |
I’m not sure if you’re genuinely misunderstanding or just trying to be provocative because this is a faceless forum. This is meant to be an intellectual discussion, not a space for immature or off-topic behavior. Perhaps it’s time for Seun to consider creating a separate section for children ![]() Sharpsharp00123: |
There should have been only one major tribe in Southern Nigeria. The persistent problem and division we face in the South largely stem from the presence of two dominant tribes competing for influence. In contrast, Northern Nigeria has a single major tribe, which has fostered a stronger sense of unity among its people. I do not fully understand why the British colonial masters established two major tribes in the South, but whatever the reason, it has led to deep-rooted divisions and ongoing power struggles. Unless this issue is addressed, the South will remain divided, and the rivalry between the two major southern tribes will persist. Neither group is willing to concede to the other, making cooperation difficult. The only viable solution lies in true state autonomy. Until this is achieved, the tensions and conflicts between the South's two leading tribes will continue to hinder unity and progress. |
Hope this woman won't be assassinated |
Please, they should handle this matter discreetly and only bring it up when there's enough evidence. There are more pressing issues facing our country. Aren't there more urgent matters? What about the tax reform bill? That directly impacts the common man and offers real benefits. I don't see how this Natasha issue affects the general public, especially since there isn't sufficient evidence yet. |
NAFDAC is now working, NDLEA is working, once SON starts working too, that's the end of billionaires in a particular region. |
There has been only one Church since the time of the apostles. However, in the 9th century, a division occurred, leading to the Church breaking into two: the Eastern Orthodox and the Roman Catholic Church. Therefore, it is not only the Roman Catholic Church that can trace its roots directly to the early apostles, but also the Eastern Orthodox Church. |
Not only the Roman Catholic Church but also the Eastern Orthodox Church trace their origins to the early Christian Church. There was only one unified Church since the time of the Apostles, but in the 9th century, a division began, culminating in the Great Schism of 1054, which resulted in the separation of the Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches. This is God fighting for the Nigerian commoners. Please, let no commoner complain; instead, let us give thanks to God for fighting this battle on our behalf. He will see it through to the end. |

Recreational activities are pursuits undertaken for enjoyment, relaxation, and leisure, distinct from work or obligations. These activities can encompass: Sports and Games: Hiking, playing basketball, chess. Hobbies: Painting, gardening, playing music. Travel and Tourism Socializing: Parties, gatherings, volunteering. Entertainment: Watching movies, reading, attending concerts. For many, including myself, socializing through parties and gatherings is a primary form of recreation. Interestingly, I've observed a peculiar pattern regarding finances spent on socializing. Someone once mentioned that money allocated for social activities has a unique nature—it can't be diverted to other purposes like buying cars or building houses. Initially skeptical, I later found this observation aligning with my experience. There was a period when I ceased all social gatherings and focused solely on essential expenditures for my family. Contrary to my expectation of accumulating savings, my financial situation remained tight, covering only daily necessities. When I resumed participating in social gatherings and parties, my financial landscape shifted. It was during this phase that I managed to acquire a car and even land property. This shift was stark, with 2024 alone witnessing over a million naira spent on social events. This raises an intriguing question: Is there a spiritual or metaphysical dimension to money spent on socializing? Does this money have a unique flow, channeling itself back into one's life in ways that foster growth and acquisitions that are not directly tied to savings or investment? Reflecting on this, the idea isn't about the literal spiritual nature of money but perhaps the social dynamics and energy it creates. Social gatherings often expand networks, open up opportunities, and generate goodwill, which might indirectly lead to financial growth and opportunities. Whether there's a spiritual essence or it's simply the result of broader social engagement, the phenomenon is worth pondering. Could it be that engaging in social activities energizes and opens up channels that lead to unforeseen financial gains? |
I don't hate igbo's, I have many of them as a good friend, but the truth is always bitter. IGBOPROMISE1: |
The success the Igbos could have achieved easily was hindered by the influence of greed. When Awolowo and Ahmadu suggested including a secession clause in the constitution, Nnamdi opposed it, arguing that it would amount to treason. Now, unnecessary bloodshed and tears are being shed. As the saying goes, 'A stitch in time saves nine.' It’s time for the Igbos to embrace humility over arrogance in this critical moment." |
