Some of the things he wrote up there ought to have been thrashed before marriage. Women are like children; if they know that you are a no nonsense man no matter how much you are in love with them, they conform. It's sounds funny but this is true, I had an uncle who died because aof as stress from the family, he was an academic in a higher institution while his wife is an academic in a government secondary School. The dude died of high blood pressure issues while in the process of doing one of his side gigs running from one city to another to argument his pay. His wife knew he had developed high blood pressure after catering for his family for 2 decades without any financial contributions from the wife even while she was a government employee for this two decades.

How did we know about this? The guy told my mum of his struggles with high blood pressure and my mum advised him to slow down on his side gigs and take rest after his lectures for the day but the dude complained that his wife doesn't assist him that did he slows down his income won't take care of his family's monthly expenditure. 3 months later he died, now it has dawned on her that the money she refused to bring out to assist her husband she has no option this time around.

Any man in this time and age who isn't oppotuned to steal like wike and Tinubu and thinks he can carry all load on his head is sure to die very early.

What you're failing to understand is that when you marry a jobless woman from a struggling background, you're not just marrying her, you're marring her family members (your in-laws) as well.

Every financial responsibility in her home would be moved to you. If her younger sister gains admission, you would be expected to contribute something, if her parents are having accommodation problems, you have to bring money. If there is any event in her family, everyone would be looking up to you. Every month they would be expecting you to send them something for feeding no matter how small because the economy is bad.

And since your wife isn't working, the whole load would be on your head. And it's not even like she'll give you peace of mind. She'll frustrate you with nagging. How long do you think you can endure all that before succumbing to stroke or HBP?

With the way the economy is any man who marries a liability or tells his wife not to work, has shortened his life span by over 50%.
