No use forming expert on this cos you definitely fluked it..hp envy are not just Hp's entertainment PCs but also HP's Premium laptops and as such they come with only premium aesthetics and material quality..Turbo boost ability is constant for majority of Envy's ..i have sold tones of these

Please be informed that that laptops I have for sell are enterprise grade not for students or home users but for IT pros.. and users who need a machine with powerful chipset.

See @poster don't make a mistake.. do the maths and check reviews and price comparisons. Entry level Lenovo currently compete with HP probook series(professional series).

Now imaging owning an ideapad or the ultimate enterprise Thinkpad series. Which outdid the HP elitebook series.

Let's forget about our personal experiences. Check history from IBM vs HP/Compaq collabo in 2004.

If u see a used Thinkpad.. grab it. It's built to last a decade at least.. QA is military grade. No BOBO. No surprise errors

Pavillion and envy are entertainment PCs from HP, core i7 on those model are not high performing i7s and would lack vpro + turbo boost. ..

@poster .. the question is why u need that many cores.. are u a professional seeking or u need the lapy for gaming and basic operations.

Better still consider .. Price Slashed,.. Lenovo Thinkpad L530 N2S4VUE 4GB 500gb Intel Core i3 @68k. . . . Brand it over 200k on jumia and about 150k in stores at otigba. I catched in on a promo promo wil sell 68k till 2weeks before sellin to shop at 90k(giving them good profit margin)

Lenovo rules.. I woul even choose a toshiba over the HP. I like my laptop sturdy, an rugged, everlasting keyboard, screen hinges and touchpad I hav seen high priced a entry level HPS having a issues with keyboard and or touchpa and screen. And HP EliteBooks far in proper quality check on the models.. Dell does doe better job, but Lenovo rules
