Politics / Re: Imo Adults To Pay N3,000 Development Levy - Rochas Okorocha by LordScent(m): 11:51am On Sep 27, 2016 |
I'm so looking forward to such implementation here in lagos.....
No one will survive in alausa
tinziemaine: Citing the need to replicate development in all 637 communities of Imo State, Governor Rochas Okorocha has directed all taxable adults in the 27 local councils to pay N3,000 as development levy.
The governor, who gave the directive at the weekend while inaugurating the state's Development Council and presenting adult registers to government representatives in Owerri, urged the people to face current challenges and pay for their benefits, adding that every taxable adult must register.
House of Assembly Speaker, Acho Ihim, reminded the audience of the Imo State Traditional Rulers and Autonomous Law which mandates that a community must have a minimum population of 2,000 for it to be recognised by government.
The Commissioner for Community Government, Culture and Traditional Affairs, Innocent Eke, said the Community Government Council (CGC), put in place by the current administration, had decentralised power and empowered communities, as the people now participate in the management of their affairs.
The chairman, Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Sam Ohiri, assured execution of the order. www.vibesngistsblog.com/2016/09/all-imo-adults-to-pay-n3000-development.html?m=1

Business / Re: Thousands Of Zimbabweans Lose Money As MMM Crashes by LordScent(m): 3:21pm On Sep 26, 2016 |
manuelrukky: Every week one new assailant is launched against mmm. SEC, CBN, Punch newspapers, now the alleged claim of MMM Zimbabwe crash. So well negatively labelled to inject terror. What I see abt this debate is abstainees trying to force their position down the throats of those who are participating. Since govt leaves no option for naijans let's run our mmm. They won't pay bursary which students use to augment expenses, mmm offered a way out.
I wonder ooo....What puzzles me even more is the fact that SEC, CBN and the likes have taken the pain and responsibilitu of alerting nigerians of the scam MMM is.....And they even went further by stating that "... Whosoever does bussiness with MMM in whatever form does so at his/her own risk".... Abeg why dem kon dey get hypertension after doing us such a huge favour?
We go to banks and it is always boldly written in the park that "CARS PARKED HERE IS AT OWNERS RISK".... yet you all park your pangolo there regardless of the disclaimer. Why?.....You read, understood and decided. CHOICE.
Its okay for me to carry olosho with 5000 for a night but wrong for me to try to increase it by 30%?
Its okay if i bet all day, all week long on tension soaked matches, with only a 2% chance of winning, yet very wrong for me to try increase my 1000 by 30%?
Or you will rather i keep the 5000 in the bank and get 4899 at the end of the month?
Whatever way you choose to see it, i made a choice. If it fails, i might likely cry my eyes out and swear in swahili.......But until then i will rather keep smiling to the bank.
Living in NIGERIA has always been the biggest risk fate took on my behalf.
Cheers bro.

switch47: MMM is in over 120 countries of the world and the continuity of MMM is based on Provide HELP being more than GET HELP , the health of MMM in various countries deffer based on the ratio of PH to GH . Government often use propaganda and media to create fear and panic in the mind of te public and this could result in drop of PH thus affecting the stability of the system . The health of the program in Zimbabwe is not as good as that of Nigeria and with the Government trash talks it affected the system , MMM will not crash in Zimbabwe as it will regain its balance just like what happened in South Africa. Right now in Nigeria the health of the system is very good and without a drop in PH caused by Government Nigerian MMM will not crash even in the next 10 years. The government will still come with their Rubbish media talk but before then it is time to start the anti PANIC campaign . LONG LIVE MMM NIGERIA !! Thunder fire mumu Government wey no pay my salary for the past 7 months.
Tell 'em oooo

intbizoil: Nairaland is purely anti-mmm right from day one so am not surprised. Mods am available to be banned but I have to say the truth. Someone is sponsoring media attacks against mmm. You should get to find out why it was restarted and not crash. Anyway mmm is booming and I don't think many nigerians are interested in what the media like nairaland is saying. Everybody to his own but know that by December the situation of this country will be so terrible that people will kill their fellow man and eat
Its funny how you take MMM matter to heart so easily
To me, i see it as one of the many ventures i can try my hands on knowing fully well the risks involved. I am an active member of Kedi and in time past , also partipated in few schemes. Some i gained, some i lost. Life goes on.
If MMM can self-sustain from november 15 last year to this time - as a scam, then i am giving them benefit of one day more. This is not about being a fanatic, but rather understanding the ideology.
MMM never claimed to your money is GUARANTEED MMM never claimed their site is MOST SECURED MMM never hid how the system works....
And finally,
MMM doesnt have to last forever, nothing does afterall. Even if it packs up today, the same way many will lose money is the same way most families will keep blessing the day they registered. And guess what, life moves on. !!!.
So i smile mischievioisly at dummies who believes just because they cant risk or fathom how the system works, then it should crash almost immediately....
Keep playing baba ijebu and nairabet with your salary, let me do MMM with my SPARE cash.

MMM cannot be defended.
But while it may be the most crooked way on earth to earn financial freedom, i bear it in mind of how i predicted it wont last more than January. Here we are in october. With over 600000 nigerians on the platform and still yet to hear of one fraud.
Maybe this is me believing too much in the saying "LIFE ITSELF IS A RISK" but i am happy to do MMM. It's not meant for robots or animals, hence the rigorous processes and warnings indicated clearly of its "NO GUARANTY" before registering. It is a matter of choice. If tommorrow it folds, i have made my choice. And if it doesnt in the next 1 year, i will still keep smiling. Haters can go to he11
.But Come to think of it, how much of MMM do we really know?..... Atleast i know a bit to trust them with my SPARE cash.... The worst that can happen is to loose money which everyone was well informed of prior to entry.
SO WHY THE NOISE PLEASE....MUST YOU DIE ON OTHER PEOPLE'S CASE ....
P.S i saw some chronic bettors spewing thrash too ... They gamble away their house rent, salaries on bet9ja regularly with nothing to show for it (with a probability of 2%)...... But its okay to bet, MMM is the devil. Lolz. Hypocrites everywia.

Romance / Re: This Is For Every Lady Who Wants To Experience A Happy Marriage. by LordScent(m): 7:30am On Sep 18, 2016 |
naijaboiy: Everybody arguing. Some people against the Op while a few others are in support of him. I, on the other hand is just sitting on the fence not knowing which side to turn to.
Because if we look at this issue from the angle the Op is coming from we will discover that he's right. It's a bitter truth many of us don't want to hear, especially the ladies.
Some of us should go back home and ask our mothers if our fathers ever cheated and how they reacted to it when they found out.
Now those who are opposing the Op are also right in their own way. Since cheating itself is not a good thing, it is very human and natural for us to condemn it but that doesn't change the fact that it still happens.
I believe the Op is only trying to advise that if you want a lasting marriage these are some of the things you should be able to do otherwise that marriage may not last. There are many other factors that may make a marriage crumble but infidelity is like the number one.
If every woman has the intolerance towards cheating and won't take it the moment she finds out that her hubby is cheating permit me to say that we would have an influx of marriages ending on infidelity cases. But that's not to say because you want to keep a marriage you should endure every bullshit. As someone rightly stated it's even better to remain single.
I'm going to use the recent political happenings in Nigeria to buttress the Op's point further.
When we had Goodluck Jonathan as president, many people complained of his government as being corrupt and put in every effort to kick him out of office. They succeeded and another man who is believed to be a disciplined person when it comes to corruption was put in place.
Now the economy is in coma and nothing tangible has been done to revive it. We now have the same set of people who clamored for a change of government asking that the former government policies should return. They are now saying they prefer the corruption like that, at least they were not suffering.
Corruption in itself is a bad thing. But when a government is corrupt but yet the citizens can still be comfortable they will endure or tolerate such from the government as far as they are happy.
In my opinion, it's the same thing. You have to expect a government to be corrupt even though it's frowned at so that the moment you hear of millions of funds being stolen by an official you won't be the least surprised.
Cheating or corruption will never be justified or seen as good, but we as humans should always prepare for the worst from fellow humans like us, so we aren't taken unawares.
It's not about throwing insults at the Op. if you settle down to read his article you'll see his points clearly and I think it should be applied to every day life, not just marriage.
Expect anything from anybody.
Naijaboiy and epistle be like this....
