Just one question, can I upgrade the os? Cos I've been using the n3 4 some weeks now and I noticed that I can't change the theme so I'm hoping an upgrade will sort that problem out

olawalebabs: as for me, window vista is far better than window 7, recently, i try installing TV card on window 7 but it can't work on it i have to use vista to get through. Window 7 is more of graphic and nothing more.

If you think windows vista was anything but crap then you seriously need an upgrade! Even Bill Gates admitted vista was a flop!

Have you seen anyone that solely depend on ipad without the conventional pc? For this OS to be deployed successfully, do you realize that you have to change your hardware which I don't intend doing?

Most companies are just embracing windows 7 and M$ is planning on releasing a new OS in 2012, does that make sense?

If you read the specs on windows 8 based systems then you'll know that all you said is crap. Windows 8 is not touchscreen based and can be operated on normal systems

Desoda: Hi fellow nairalanders, nice having you guys around. I'm a cplusplus programmer diving into video game development. I'd been sharing a laptop with my brother who does web design. Sharing the piece of thing causes too much traffic cos one has to wait for the other to finish first and besides the system is a bit crappy for video games though good for web design. Can anyone pls suggest any laptop powerful enough for programming video games money can easily afford. All positive comments are welcome. Thanks

scampy: I thought i should share my experience wit the company called Zinox Company. Firstly, i am usin deir laptop and since the Lappy got spoilt i av been tryin to get a hold on them and when i finally did what they told me was that i wil pay more than #45,000 to change the motherboard. Secondly, their website address is not functionin. Thirdly, the phone numbers they leave as deir customer care numbers incase of any problems or you may av any question is not being picked. It is somtin i did alot of times before i fed up and decide to visit their Corporate Head Office at Gbagada, on getting there it is anoda tori entirely cos i was told the building is being occupied by one IT company by the name TD PLUS. Now my question is dis: Is Zinox scamming us. I learnt at computer village dat a new motherboard is not upto dat amount, dat it is btw 17 to 22k. So pls i need ur advice on how to replace my Zinox Laptop motherboard. Thnx.

Best advice; change the laptop and not the motherboard 'cos as far as i'm concerned Nigerian laptop manufacturers are crap. An example 're the Nigerian made laptops used during the voters registration exercise a couple of years back.

I believe the saying ' as the world turns, it's best you turn with it' is applicable here. If computers are being accused of taking peoples' jobs it's 'cos they refused to go the extra mile. And that's because, as far as i'm concerned, nothing as created as many jobs as computers. As a matter of fact I can't even imagine what my life will be like without computers or smartphones!

OYINBOGOJU: Apple laptop are meant for Entertainment

If you are into entertainment industry ,you will cherish apple products more than other products
