Mamatukwas: I have also been trying to buy a BA ticket online but my Naija cards aren't working, at least Access bank isn't.
Please if you know any bank card that works or any way I can go about this kindly let me know. P.S- I am currently in the U.K. Thanks. You can always go thru Wakanow, Travelstart, Flyboku etc because you can easily use your naira card on their platforms that is if you get the same quote or the difference isn’t that much. Though some folks prefer bookings directly through the airlines which is cool as well |

Mamatukwas: Urgent Feedback Needed Please!
If I book my flight on BA.Com but other airlines are operating on their behalf i.e Aer Lingus or American Airlines.... Whose policy on pregnancy am I bound to? The main peeps: British Airways? Or the Smaller Operating Flights?
Pls help if you know the answer. Thank you. It is the main airline I suppose because the “smaller airline” operates the said flight in the name of the main airline. More like BA using American airline planes for its connecting flights. 1 Like |

Tripletmom: POE experience (Washington Dulles) Travelled via Turkish airline at 32wk,3 days ago. Had my fit to fly from my doctor but was requested to do d FAAN medical certificate. Inflight entertainment was ok and food was just there, no preferential treatment of any sort, had eight hours stop over at Istanbul. When we were about boarding to Washington was asked if I am pregnant and the lady officer requested to see my return ticket. Arrived at the airport 7:30pm US time Had to rearrange myself bfor I joined the queue.Brought out all my paper works n cash. While on the queue sighted a black CBP drilling a naija girl next thing dropped her passport inside the box with red cover. Then palpitation began, was just praying not to be sent to him. The lady directing then passes me to join a White CBP officer’s line,I quickly did but still continued my silent prayer with smile. As God will have it, another black CBP entered his cubicle and shouted next!!! I hurriedly dragged my hand luggage and went to him.

Pls again, which hospital are you using in Virginia, I will be Maryland by April. Most of the hospitals that are within my budget are very far from my host, like 3 hours drive. So am thinking if you could share your hospital details, hopefully it’s within by budget and proximity friendly. Thank you, sorry for bugging you pls |

Thanks a lot, am most grateful.....”sounds like you are asking your father for money” lol, well he earns way more than I do, like almost 10 times than I do and the arrangement we have is that he takes care of the big things while I takia of the small things. Thanks again, God bless you TWoods:
Using a birthing center is likely a red flag because it suggests you really don't have the funds to have a baby in the US. But since you're not seeking a visa, you should be ok. IMO, the important thing is that you paid all your bills and have evidence to prove. But again, no one here is a VO so take any advice you get here with a pinch of salt.
As an aside, i found this part of your post interesting... "hubby already gave me $9,000 for the trip". Sounds like you're asking your father for money. As a couple, i thought all monies in the marriage belonged to both. But that's just me thinking out loud. 2 Likes |

......Pls am not spamming o Lorit: Hello everyone, thumbs up to all the folks making this thread awesome. Pls I have a question, I have used my B1/B2 visa a couple of times for vacation and at no time did I spend more than 3 weeks. Now I am pregnant and hubby already gave me $9,000 for the trip. Plan on travelling in February, we have correspondence with the doctor but deep down I really want to try water birth experience as I have had 2 kids virginally without any complications. My question is: I hear using a birthing centre is a red flag, how true this is? We just want our last baby to have a dual citizenship and this intent I will disclose at the POE. Thanks for your response in advance. |
