Politics › Re: Yorubas Has Lost This Bet by Lot13(m): 10:24am On Jan 11, 2018 |
Sprumbabafather: Much respect for my yoruba sophisticated strategists but it's becoming clear by the day that they have lost this bet. The horse they backed for the race won, but the price they were supposed to get has been given to the north. Forget the VP position which you all know is a figure head and totally caged and inconsequential to the whole arrangement. The guy is a mere rubber stamp kept there to fill a post, his opinion is worth less than that of a local government chairman from Kano. I nearly laughed yesterday when the NIIA position of a yorubaman was given to a greenhorn, Abubakar in continuation of the pattern created from 2015. At least Jonathan would have replaced the sacked DG with another yoruba man. Fashola has lost his voice, drowned out by bigger forces who continues to pile work on his head, taking any little praise from him if any, and heaping blames on his head for the mess in his ministries. Tinubu? Caged in Lagos, a complete outsider to the corridors of power since the very day Bubu was sworn in . Afenifere can complain, Oodua youths can whine and cry, OPC can fume from morning till night but nothing has changed. It took many months to convince the powers that be to look into the case of Oba of Ile ife who was thrown into jail with 20 yoruba men and women like common criminals just because his subjects retaliated against the northern rape and murder. I don't know what they planned to gain from backing this evil government, but I think they are losing everything, including their shirts in this bet gone sour. But I suggest they appease the north for things to change. Maybe a large swathe of land, like 4,000 hectares of land from yorubaland given to the herdsmen to form a national grazing field for all the cattle in Nigeria can make things right again. We must make this country work somehow. Development of our region is our primary concern and we are getting positive results and by the way, you have a lot to worry about concerning your people and your region. |

Politics › Re: 5 Nigerian Companies Bigger And Richer Than Lagos and Ogun State by Lot13(m): 9:25pm On Jan 05, 2018 |
EternalTruths: There is a difference between generating a revenue and profit.
The 412 billion generated by Lagos State is before expenses were deducted. Therefore would have little left over for Savings/ Foreign Reserve.
The 300 billion generated by Zenith and UBA is after expenses were deducted. This is a clear indication that they are richer than Lagos
In the end, after Lagos deducted her expenses, how much was left for savings & investments.? None.
A State can have left over just as a company can have.
In the case of a company, it is called Profit In the case of a State, it is called Savings/Reserve.
The Profits of those companies are far higher than the Reserves of Lagos State
That is what Kettykings and co have being trying to pass along but educated illiterates from Afonja land don't want to understand. Olodo |

frankyychiji: If Buhari is rigged into power in 2019, we will unite in prayers and fasting and send him to be with his friend Abacha. Buhari won't rig an election but, will win the 2019 election with the support of patriotic Nigerians who discerns that the wheels of progress is gathering speed and would not allow the criminal party and its criminal members to ever get to position of power in our country again You can make all the noise online but, the real voters are watching closely and would make the right decision at the right time. |

Derawiz: I have found out that Nigerians are very difficult to please, they prefer to be flogged than pampered. As a matter of fact, the average Nigerian is so foolish, that if this administration should return things the way the met them when they assumed office, Nigerians would still applaud that as a political point. You can imagine, someone took dollar exchange rate from 1$/180naira to 1$/400naira, and after about 8months of hardship, this administration struggled to bring it down to 1$/330 naira and again, the foolish Nigerians started applauding again. This administration is sincerely doing their best to bring us out of the dungeon PDP had kept us for the past 16yrs and only the foolish ones will buy the lies and deceit this criminal party PDP and its criminal members are now selling to Nigerians.PDP should take the backseat for now. They wasted the opportunity and trust Nigerians had in them and no matter the campaign of calumny will sway the support of patriotic Nigerians to their side. Nigerians just love suffering, else how would some people still be campaigning for this administration, because of rice and wrappers? That would finish and wear out before 4 years elapse? Well what do I know? Nigerians learn the hard way This administration is sincerely doing its best to bring us out of the dungeon PDP kept us for 16yrs and only the foolish ones will buy the lies and deceit this criminal party PDP and its members are now selling to Nigerians. PDP should take the backseat for now for a fact that patriotic Nigerians will not trust them with our country for a long time to come. |

It is only the lazybones that are waiting for one to put bread in their mouths like a crow would its fledglings.
Power supply has improved.
Npower is giving 30k monthly to 200k .
After a while there'll be little excuse for those who cannot roll their sleeves up to work. Truly, the country is on the upward trend and should be sustain and those who are determined and sworn never to see anything good in this government should be ignored . Patriotic Nigerians are watching closely and would speak with their vote at the right time and would not allow those that looted us dry and bring this country down on his knee hijack power again. |

Yorubas don't travel. Yorubas feel at home in the north just like the Hausa/Fulani feel at home with us in the SW mutually respecting our culture and tradition but it is contrary with the Ibos.
