Politics / Who. Murdered Africa by lovelyS(m): 11:00am On Oct 24, 2012
I saw this Theory online and i think i should share it with my brothers and sisters of Africa...OPEN YOUR MIND WHEN READING.

W. H. O. MURDERED AFRICA

There is no question mark after the title of this article because the title is not a question. It's a declarative statement.

WHO, the World Health Organisation, murdered Africa with the AIDS virus. That's a provocative statement isn't it?

The answer to this little mystery, Murder on the WHO express, will be quite clear to you by the end of my report. You will also understand why the other suspects, the homosexuals, the green monkey and the Haitians, were only pawns in this virocidal attack on the non-Communist world.

If you believe the government propaganda that AIDS is hard to catch then you are going to die even sooner than the rest of us. The common cold is a virus. Have you ever had a cold? How did you catch it? You don't really know, do you? If the cold virus were fatal how many people would there be left in the world?

Yellow fever is a virus. You catch it from mosquito bites. Malaria is a parasite also carried by mosquitoes. It is many times larger than the AIDS virus (like comparing a pinhead to a moose head), yet the mosquito easily carries this large organism to man.

The tuberculosis germ, also much larger than the AIDS virus, can be transmitted by fomites (inanimate objects such as towels). The AIDS virus can live as long as ten days on a dry plate. So, are you worried about your salad in a restaurant that employs homosexuals? You'd better be.

You can't understand this murder mystery and you wouldn't believe my conclusions unless you learn a little virology. I'll make it as painless as possible.

Many viruses grow in animals and many grow in humans but most of the viruses that affect animals don't affect humans. There are exceptions, of course, such as yellow fever and small pox.

There are some viruses in animals that cause very lethal cancer in those animals, but do not affect man or other animals. The bovine leukaemia virus (BLV), for example, is lethal to cows but not humans. There is another virus that occurs in sheep called sheep visna virus which is also non-reactive in man. These deadly viruses are "retro viruses" meaning that they can change the genetic composition of cells that they enter.

The World Health Organisation in published articles, called for scientists to work with these deadly agents and attempt to make a hybrid virus that would be deadly to humans. In the bulletin of the World Health Organisation WHO), Volume 47, p. 259, 1972, they said, "An attempt should be made to see if viruses can in fact exert selective effects on immune function. The possibility should be looked into that the immune response to the vims itself may be impaired if the infecting virus damages, more or less selectively, the cell responding to the virus."

That's AIDS. What the WHO is saying in plain English is "Let's cook up a virus that selectively destroys the T-cell system of man, an acquired immune deficiency."

Why would anyone want to do this? If you destroy the T-cell system of man you destroy man. Is it even remotely possible that the World Health Organisation would want to develop a virus that would wipe out the human race?

If their new viruses creation worked, the WHO stated, then many terrible and fatal infectious viruses could be made even more terrible and more malignant. Does this strike you as being a peculiar goal for a health organisation? The thought occurred to me.

Sometimes I believe in conspiracies and sometimes I don't. It depends on the subject. (Was there a conspiracy to kill President Kennedy? If you don't think so, then you must be a dumb liberal). My attitude toward some alleged conspiracies, the Federal Reserve for instance, depends on what I had for breakfast.

But it doesn't take a bad breakfast to see an amazing concatenation of events involving Russian and Chinese communist nationals, the World Health Organisation, the National Cancer Institute and the AIDS pandemic.

But what about the green monkey? Some of the best virologists in the world and many of those directly involved in AIDS research, such as Robert Gallo and Luc Montagnier, have said that the green monkey may be the culprit. You know the story: A green monkey bit a native on the ass and, bam—AIDS all over central Africa.

There is a fatal flaw here. It is very strange. Because Gallo, Montagnier and those other virologists know that the AIDS virus doesn't occur naturally in monkeys. In fact it doesn't occur naturally in any animal.

AIDS started practically simultaneously in the United States, Haiti, Brazil and Central Africa. (Was the green monkey a jet pilot)? Examination of the gene structure of the green monkey cells proves that it is not genetically possible to transfer the AIDS virus from monkeys to man by natural means.

Because of the artificial nature of the AIDS virus it will not easily transfer from man to man until it has become very concentrated in the body fluids through repeated injections from person to person, such as drug addicts, and through high multiple partner sexuality such as takes place in Africa, among homosexuals and among native American Indians. After repeated transfer it can become a "natural" infection for man, which it has.

Dr. Theodore Strecker's research of the literature indicates that the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in collaboration with the World Health Organisation made the AIDS virus in their laboratories at Fort Detrick (now NCI). They combined the deadly retroviruses, bovine leukaemia virus and sheep visna virus, and injected them into human tissue cultures. The result was the AIDS virus, the first human retrovirus known to man and now believed to be 100 percent fatal to those infected.

The momentous plague that we now face was anticipated by the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), in 1974 when they recommended that "Scientists throughout the world join the members of this committee in voluntarily deferring experiments (linking) animal viruses."

What the NAS is saying in carefully guarded English is: "For God's sake stop this madness!" Man went over the edge when he started playing God and started growing human tissue in the laboratory.

We've let the green monkey off the hook. How about the communists! In my original monograph on AIDS, before Dr. Strecker alerted me to the scientific absurdities being put on the American people, I said: "After the holocaust has run its course, and we've buried 10 or 20 million young people, who will protect us? If we are faced with an invasion from a Communist Mexico, aided by Communist Nicaragua and Cuba, who will defend the Rio Grande? Wouldn't it be ironic if the godless Russians and other communist countries, because of their Victorian attitude toward sex and their severe repression of homosexuality, escaped most of the ravages of the AIDS epidemic and took us over by simply walking across the Mexican border?"

I wouldn't change a word of that. But it was based on my natural paranoia toward the Communists, having observed the way they operate for 40 years. Besides, they are saying that AIDS is a "capitalist plot." That really got me suspicious because, as any student of the communist conspiracy knows they always blame others for what they are in the process of doing.

And what they are in the process of doing is conducting germ warfare from Fort Detrick, Maryland against the free world, especially in the United States, even using foreign communist agents with the United States Army's germ warfare unit euphemistically called the Army Infectious Disease Unit.

You don't believe it? Carlton Gajdusek an NIH big-shot at Detrick admits it: "IN THE FACILITY I HAVE A BUILDING WHERE MORE GOOD AND LOYAL COMMUNIST SCIENTISTS FROM THE USSR AND MAINLAND CHINA WORK, WITH FULL PASSKEYS TO ALL THE LABORATORIES, THAN THERE ARE AMERICAN. EVEN THE ARMY'S INFECTIOUS DISEASE UNIT IS LOADED WITH FOREIGN WORKERS NOT ALWAYS FRIENDLY NATIONALS."

Can you imagine that? A UN-WHO communist Trojan horse in our biological warfare centre with the full blessings of the Jimmy Carters of this world?

I can assure you that the creation of the AIDS virus by the WHO was not just a diabolical scientific exercise that got out of hand. It was a cold-blooded successful attempt to create a killer virus which was then used in a successful experiment in Africa. So successful in fact that most of central Africa may be wiped out, 75,000,000 dead within 3-5 years.

It was not an accident. It was deliberate. In the Federation Proceedings of the United States in 1972, WHO said: "In relation to the immune response a number of experimental approaches can be visualised". They suggested that a neat way to do this would be to put their new killer virus (AIDS) into a vaccination program, sit back and observe the results. "This would be particularly informative in sibships," they said. That is, give the AIDS virus to brothers and sisters and see if they die, who dies first and of what, just like using rats in a laboratory.

They used small pox vaccine for their vehicle and the geographical sites chosen in 1972 were Uganda and other African states, Haiti, Brazil and Japan. The present or recent past of AIDS epidemiology coincides with these geographical areas.

Dr. Strecker points out that even if the African green monkey could transmit AIDS to humans, the present known amount of infection in Africa makes it statistically impossible for a single episode, such as a monkey biting someone on the butt, to have brought this epidemic to this point. The doubling time of the number of people infected, about every 14 months, when correlated with the first known case and the present known number of cases, prove beyond a doubt that a large number of people had to have been infected at the same time. Starting in 1972 with the first case from our mythical monkey and doubling the number infected from the single source you get only a few thousand cases. From 1972 to 1987 is 15 years or 180 months. If it takes 14 months to double the number of cases then there would have been 13 doublings, one then 2, then 4, then 8, etc. In 15 years, from a single source of infection there would be about 8,000 cases in Africa, not 75 million. We are approaching World War II mortality statistics here—without a shot being fired.

Dr. Theodore A. Strecker is the courageous doctor who unraveled this conundrum, the greatest murder mystery of all time. He should get the Nobel prize but he'll be lucky not to get "suicided." ("Prominent California doctor ties his hands behind his back and, hangs himself, and jumps from the 20th floor. There was no evidence of foul play"wink.

Strecker was employed as a consultant to work on a health proposal for Security Pacific Bank. He was to estimate the cost of the health care for the future. Should they form a health maintenance organisation? (HMO) was a major issue. After investigating the current medical market he advised against the HMO because he found that the AIDS epidemic will in all probability bankrupt the nation's medical system.

He became fascinated with all the peculiar scientific anomalies concerning AIDS that kept cropping up. Why did the "experts keep talking about green monkeys and homosexuals being the culprits when it was obvious that the AIDS virus was a man-made virus? Why did they say that it was a homosexual and drug-user disease when in Africa it was obviously a heterosexual disease? If the green monkey did it, then why did AIDS explode practically simultaneously in Africa, Haiti, Brazil, the United States and southern Japan?

Why, when it was proposed to the National Institute of Health that the AIDS virus was a combination of two bovine or sheep viruses cultures in human cells in a laboratory, did they say it was "bad science" when that's exactly what occurred?

As early as 1970 the World Health Organisation was growing these deadly animal viruses in human tissue cultures. Cedric Mims, in 1981, said in a published article that there was a bovine virus contaminating the culture media of the WHO. Was this an accident or a "non-accident"? If it was an accident why did WHO continue to use the vaccine?

This viral and genetic death bomb, AIDS, was finally produced in 1974. It was given to monkeys and they died of pneumocystis cami, which is typical of AIDS.

Dr. R.J. Biggar said in Lancet: ". . . The AIDS agent. . . could not have originated de novo." That means in plain English that it didn't come out of thin air, AIDS was engineered in a laboratory by urologists. It couldn't engineer itself. As Doctor Strecker so colourfully puts it: "If a person has no arms or legs and shows up at a party in a tuxedo, how did he get dressed? Somebody dressed him."

There are 9,000 to the fourth power possible AIDS viruses. (There are 9,000 base pairs on the genome). So the fun has just begun. Some will cause brain rot similar to the sheep virus, some leukaemia-like diseases from the cow virus and some that won't do anything. So the virus will be constantly changing and trying out new esoteric diseases on hapless man. We're only at the beginning.

Because of the trillions of possible genetic combinations, there will never be a vaccine. Even if they could develop a vaccine they would undoubtedly give us something equally bad as they did with the polio vaccine (cancer of the brain), the swine flu vaccine (a polio-like disease), the smallpox vaccine (AIDS), and the hepatitis vaccine (AIDS).

There are precedents. This is not the first time the virologists have brought us disaster. SO-40 virus from monkey cell cultures contaminated polio cultures. Most people in their 40s are now carrying this virus through contaminated polio inoculations given in the early 60s. It is known to cause brain cancer which explains the increase in this disease that we have seen in the past ten years.

This is the origin of the green monkey theory. The polio vaccine was grown on green monkey kidney cells and the geniuses who brought us polio vaccine said: "We got away with it once so let's use it again." But they didn't get away with it and in spite of the fact that polio was rapidly disappearing without any medical intervention, 64 million Americans were vaccinated with SV-40 contaminated vaccine in the 60s. An increase in cancer of the brain, possibly multiple sclerosis and God only knows what else is the tragic result. The delay between vaccination and the onset of cancer with this virus is as long as 20-30 years. 1965 plus 20 equals 1985. Get the picture?

The SV-40 virus gave rise to two more viruses which are very active in AIDS patients. Most young children and young adults have received the SV-40 inoculation from polio vaccination. Primary multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML), brain rot, has been added to the burden of homosexuals who certainly had enough to bear having been given AIDS through hepatitis B vaccine.

The final piece of the puzzle is how AIDS devastated the homosexual population in the United States. It wasn't from smallpox vaccination as in Africa because we don't do that any more. There is no smallpox in the United States and so vaccination was discontinued.

Although some AIDS has been brought to the United States from Haiti by homosexuals, (it used to be one of their favourite "play-grounds"wink, it would not be enough to explain the explosion of AIDS that occurred simultaneously with the African and Haitian epidemics.

The AIDS virus didn't exist in the United States before 1978. You can check back in any hospital and no stored blood samples were found anywhere that exhibit the AIDS virus before that date.

What happened in 1978 and beyond to cause AIDS to burst upon the scene and devastate the homosexual segment of our population? It was the introduction of the hepatitis-B vaccine which exhibits the exact epidemiology of AIDS.

A Doctor W. Schmugner, born in Poland and educated in Russia, came to this country in 1969. His immigration to the US was probably the most fateful immigration in our history. He, by unexplained process, became head of the New York City blood bank. (How does a Russian trained doctor become head of one of the largest blood banks in the world? Doesn't that strike you as peculiar)?—He set up the rules for the hepatitis vaccine studies. Only males between the ages of 20 and 40, who were not monogamous, would be allowed to participate in this study. Can you think of any reason, other than the desire to spread something among the population, for insisting that all experimentees be promiscuous? Maybe you don't believe in the communist conspiracy theory but give me some other logical explanation. Schmugner is now dead and his diabolical secret went with him.

The hepatitis vaccine, unlike the AIDS vaccine, was not grown from human tissue culture. So accidental contamination didn't occur. The AIDS virus was probably put in the vaccine deliberately. It was no mistake. The Centre for Disease Control reported in 1981 that four percent of those receiving the hepatitis-vaccine were AIDS-infected. In 1984 they admitted to 60 percent. Now they refuse to give out figures at all because they don't want to admit that 100 percent of hepatitis vaccine receivers are infected with AIDS.

Where is the data on the hepatitis vaccine studies? FDA? CDC? No, the US Department of Justice has it buried where you will never see it.

I have always said, and our forefathers told us this, that the greatest threat to the people is always government. Not foreign governments, but our own government. What has the government told us about AIDS?

* It is a homosexual disease—homosexuals certainly spread it but the primary responsibility wasn't theirs.
* It's related to anal intercourse only—wrong.
* Only a small percentage of those testing positive for AIDS would get the disease—wrong.
* It came from the African green monkey—wrong.
* It came from the cytomegalovirus—wrong.
* It was due to popping amyl nitrate with sex—wrong.
* It was started 400 years ago by the Portuguese—wrong. (It started in 1972).
* You can't get it from mosquitos—wrong
* The virus can't live outside the body—wrong.

The head of the Human Leukaemia Research Group at Harvard is a veterinarian. Dr. Judd, International Agency for Research on Cancer, the agency that requested the production of the virus in the first place, is also a veterinarian. The leukaemia research he is conducting is being done under the auspices of a school of veterinary medicine.

Now there is nothing wrong with being a vet but, as we have pointed out, the AIDS virus is a human virus. You can't test these viruses in animals and you can't test leukaemia in them either. It doesn't work. So why would your government give Judd, a veterinarian, eight and one-half million dollars to study leukaemia in a veterinarian college? As long as we are being used as experimental animals maybe it's appropriate.

The London Times should be congratulated for uncovering the smallpox/AIDS connection. But their expose was very misleading. The article states that the African AIDS epidemic was caused by the smallpox vaccine "triggering" AIDS in those vaccinated.

Dr. Robert Gallo, who has been mixed up in some very strange scientific snafus, supports this theory. Whether the infection of 75 million Africans was deliberate or accidental can be debated but there is no room for debate about whether the smallpox shots "awakened the unsuspected virus infection." There is absolutely no scientific evidence that this laboratory engineered virus was present in Africa when they descended upon these hapless people in 1977 with their deadly AIDS-laced vaccine. The AIDS virus didn't come from Africa. It came from Fort Detrik Maryland, USA.

The situation is extremely desperate and the medical profession is too frightened and cowed (as usual) to take any action. Dr. Strecker attempted to mobilise the doctors through some of the most respected medical journals in the world. The prestigious Annals of Internal Medicine said that his material "appears to be entirely concerned with matters of virology" and so try some other publication.

In his letter to this medical publication Strecker said, "If correct human experimental procedures had been followed we would not find half of the world stumbling off on the wrong path to the cure for AIDS with the other half of the world covering up the origination of the damned disease. It appears to me that your Annals of Internal medicine is participating in the greatest fraud ever perpetrated."

I guess they didn't like that so Strecker submitted his sensational and mind-boggling letter with all of the proper documentation to the British journal Lancet.

Their reply: "Thank you for that interesting letter on AIDS. I am sorry to have to report that we will not be able to publish it. We have no criticism" but their letter section was "overcrowded with submissions." They're too crowded to announce the end of western civilisation and possibly all mankind? I don't think that's reasonable.

Politics / Re: N5,000 Will Strengthen The Cashless Policy – CBN Official by lovelyS(m): 8:13am On Aug 27, 2012
Fellow Nigerians!!!
It is no longer news that CBN plans to introduce N5,000 note by January 2013 .

The crux of the matter is the implication that this will have on our individual lives and national economy. One of the indices of a GROWING INFLATION, is the creation of Higher Local Currency Bill, NO matter what CBN or the Managers of our economy say, they know too well in their minds.

Ask them in Zimbabwe!

We will soon be buying things now sold for about N500; for N5,000.00!

It is going to be terrible!

Why are we not emulating Ghana where they just redenominated their currency? Why can't we do same to manage our economy?

The answer is clear; if we redenominate THEY will lose the money already stolen and kept abroad or even under sealed pits.

For instance if we redenominate by cutting down two zeros, N1,000 becomes N10 while N100 becomes N1. In a similar way one dollar will exchange for N1.55k. Therefore $100m will be N1.5m. Naira will become stronger against many currencies and stealing money abroad will become unattractive.

Why are we going for higher denomination when CBN is spending billions to promote a cashless economy? This is absurd! Let's cry out please.

Join to say no to introduction of higher denomination of naira . Let's save our economy. Pls rebroadcast untill it gets d necessary attention. If we have 2 re-occupy Nigeria or CBN (this time), let's do it....even if ₪o† for ourselves then let's do it for d future of our children and their unborn children!! Before they turn us to millionaires that can't buy bread.

Where is N1 today? Its been lost in d system. Even the banks don't have it. Changing N5, N10 & N20 to coins will mean the same thing. Those too will be lost in our economy. One of the Directors of CBN on Channels TV this morning said, the higher denominations are for 'those' who need it. Who else needs it except the 'thieves' of our economy. This new craze by the CBN will only devalue our naira more. This is a call for help Please. NIGERIANS ARISE

Believe it or not, the guy that owned SLOT (one of the largest phones distribution coy in Africa) ones started on the street of computer village.I know this because i have been working in and out of computer village since 2002 but i later joined a computer manufacturing company in lagos, i worked for with them for 7 years and im now back in computer village owing a small computer repair shop.
My point here is that not all of them street hunters are bad and this people can't be blame.the government should do something for them fast before the wrath of God befall them for stopping people's dreams.

Politics / Heroes Or Terrorists ? Nigerian Boys Who Changed Rule Of The Game by lovelyS(m): 2:05pm On Jun 12, 2012
Hello Nairalanders,I saw this story today and i was so sad and believe me i almost shed tears reading this story.I was 14 at the time of this incident you are about to read.so my question is that...The action of these boys (now adult) an act of Terrorism or Heroism ? Please read before you comment.Read on.

June 12 Nigerian Boys who changed rule of the game by hijacking an Abuja bound Nigerian Airways plane to Niger Republic to protest the annulment of the June 12 presidential election and military rule in Nigeria. [Richard Ajibola Ogunderu Kabir Adenuga, Benneth Oluwadaisi & Kenny Rasaq-Lawal of Movement for the Advancement of Democracy- MAD. What do you think of the action of the Niamey 4 boys in relations to the annuled June 12 Presidential election in Nigeria?]

In the heat of the June 12 election annulment in 1993, four Nigerian teenagers hijacked a Nigerian Airways airbus A310. The plane was diverted to the Republic of Niger. Sixteen years after, in an encounter with Deputy Editor Adewale Adeoye, the now adult musketeers recount their experiences and the pains from the nine harrowing years they spent in the arid prison of Niamey.

Midday penultimate Friday, he sat on a couch, puffing away smoke from his St Morris cigar. His eyes were piercing, sharp and inquisitive. He wore what looked like a permanent frown on his brow. By noon each day, his friends say butts of half the packet of cigarette would have been thrashed into the small tray, perched on his table. He spoke with some sense of political accuracy, but would answer each question after about three minutes of starring into your eyes and then banging his head downwards. He has no specific job for now, except that he still dreams, that one day, he would become a pilot and fly some of the best planes in the world, that is, if his ambition to rule Nigeria through democratic means, no longer tops the list of his scale of preference. He once made attempts to be a pilot, after his release from nine and half years of incarceration, but his requests were not granted by a German aviation school in Frankfurt. Looking at him, Richard Ogunderu, the subject was certainly younger in 1993 when he led a group of co-teens to hijack a Nigerian airways bus A310 scheduled to fly from Lagos to Abuja. He probably was equally thinner, less radical and less ideological than he seems now. 16 years ago, he had jumped from political oblivion to seize newspaper headlines, though in a less fascinating tilt, including prominent mention by the New York Times and other top western media.
The name Richard Ajibola Ogunderu may be strange to some people, but not to so many that would remember the astonishing actions of four daring gang that hijacked the Nigerian airbus A310 on Monday, October 25, 1993. Many observers see the plane hijack as the first of its kind in Nigerian history. Ogunderu, and his co-plotters, Kabir Adenuga, Benneth Oluwadaisi and Kenny Rasaq-Lawal took the daring action on that afternoon when Chief Ernest Shonekan and his fidihe (interim) government was battling almost fruitlessly to salvage the floundering image of a nation then in turmoil. The group joined the passengers in Lagos, their pony bags hung on their shoulders as they filed through the queue to board the plane from the local airport in Lagos. As the plane settled to cruise at about 30,000 feet above sea level and the pilot announced that passengers could loosen their belts, the boys blinked to each other on their seats, beckoning on the ringleader to strike. He did and the other hijackers, all in their teens, followed. They did not only seize the plane, they also held in awe all the bewildered passengers, some of who were business people or top government officials flying to Abuja, the seat of power. The boys cited the need to enthrone democracy and actualize the annulled June 12 election as the reason for what appeared a desperate action, quite strange to their social milieu.
`Ladies and gentlemen, this plane has been taken over by the Movement for the Advancement of Democracy, remain calm, we will not harm you. You will be told where the plane will land you’ a gritty voice, not as sonorous as that of a pilot, echoed through the small speakers. Panic. Fear. Uncertainties. The airhostesses, Ogunderu recalled, were almost stone dead, having been gripped by fear. They must not move else they would `be dead.’ A passenger who was in the toilet was said to have remained indoor until one of the hijackers came to pull him out.
Ogunderu said the action of the four boys, now men, was `meaningfully desperate.’ He said he and his peers were frustrated by the annulment of the election and the fact that the country appeared almost heading for a civil war and that his group had to take the action to `send jitters down the spine of those in power.’ Hear him: `we wanted change. Our action confirmed that when a system is inhuman, it could produce the extreme in all of us. A system that cares not, a system that does not listen to our cries and our woes, a system that wants to exterminate us does not deserve a day of existence,’ Ogunderu told The Nation last week. He said the four young men that led the hijack sent `shock waves’ to the consciousness of the regime so that they would realize that `Nigerians were not everlasting dummies.’ The group’s action was under the aegis of Movement for Democracy in Nigeria, MAD. Kabir also said the action was taken `to show the resentment against annulment of the June 12 election.’
He said he was worried that after 16 years, the system continues to trample underfoot the lives, rights and privileges of the ordinary Nigerian citizen. The group claimed June 12 motivated them. But there are cobwebs of puzzles: who sponsored the action and how was the operation carried out? How were the boys recruited? Asked if the group was afraid when the gendarmes stormed the plane, he said `No.’ how did the group of four meets and how were they recruited? That is not for discussion for now, he said, but he admitted that the four had been part of the MAD campaign against military rule which began in 1992.
Before the action, MAD’s leader, Mallam Jerry Yusuff said to be an indigene of Kwara state, had been in the forefront of the campaign against military rule. In the hey days of General Ibrahim Babangida’s rule in 1992, MAD made some appearances at the National Theater, through seminars, in the campaign against military reign, but the group did not carry out the hijack until the interim government of Chief Ernest Shonekan had been installed late in 1993. Leader of MAD, Jerry Yusuff after the hijack, said the action was to `terrorize the few people who have terrorized us politically and economically, to recover the money stolen from us.’ Yusuff is a product of universities that focus on hard-line Islamic studies. He was born in Ofa, Kwara state in 1952. He lived in Germany between 1973 and 1977 and was thought to have learnt German. He was a businessman who specialized in selling cocoa. When his boys seized the plane, they gave 72 hours to the government to meet their demands or else they would set the plane on fire.
They however allowed 34 passengers to go, leaving the remaining 159 among whom were top Nigerian government officials. The Niger Interior ministry listed a Chinese, Rong Viren as one of those released. Niger also said the plane had wanted to refuel in Chad but was refused landing. On the day of the kidnap, the local and international media were amazed that such a thing could take place in Nigeria, considered an aviation safe haven. The four took over the plane as soon as it took off from Lagos. Ogunderu was the one that led the assault. He recalled: `I walked into the cockpit and seized the process, and then the others followed me. Two of us stood in the plane to intimidate the passengers. We took over the plane and asked the pilot to head for another country.’ Though Ogunderu did not say it, but an independent source hinted that originally the plane was to be diverted to Germany but that Niamey became a choice when it became obvious that the aviation fuel would not sustain the plane for any longer distance. Ogunderu said the plane landed in Niamey in less than two hours and that as it grounded to a halt, he could see, from the louvers hundreds of armed gendarmes waiting at the airport.
The hijackers had issued prepared statements, which they distributed in the plane calling on the Nigerian government to actualize the June 12 election and swear-in, the winner, Chief M.K.O Abiola. Negotiations began with the hijackers after some few days of lull and indecision by the local authority, which was unawares of the hijackers military capacity, or whether they had explosives that could blow up the plane. The Nigerien authorities offered to release the hijackers provided that they would not harm the passengers, but while that was on going, Richard revealed, high level security meetings were in top gear with the chief aim of storming the plane and freeing the passengers, and if possible, kill the hijackers. Asked if he was afraid when the gendarmes stormed the plane, Ogunderu said `we were on a mission, we wanted to show the evil regime that young people were prepared to go the extra length to free Nigerians from the yoke of military dictatorship. ‘ He said further: `we were not afraid, at that moment, death meant nothing to us. They stormed the place and we were alarmed, we didn’t shoot, we tried to perfect our safety and the safety of the passengers’ he said. Apparently, the negotiation the Nigerien government was having with them was bait, aimed at buying time and psyching up the level of sophistication of the four teenagers that apparently had no experience in hijack and some of who had not even seen a plane until they took that action. Richard admitted he was on top of the group of four boys who hijacked the Nigerian Plane in 1993 under the banner of MAD. He was the one who briefed the boys of what each was to do and what role was to be carried out by each. In Niger, Ogunderu and his boys asked for more fuel to enable the plane fly to Frankfurt, but the Nigerien authority declined request.
The four, on landing in Niamey, held on to the plane for some days, trailed by bait negotiations until the gendarmes stormed the plane to rescue the passengers. `We were shot at. Some people died’, he recalled. However, few days latter, hundreds of armed gendarmes stormed the plane in the night, when the hijackers were thought to be asleep. `They thought we were asleep, so they came under the cover of the night and fired several shots. They bombarded the plane. I think one person died’ Ogunderu recalled. The four with their arms cramped on their back, were handcuffed and taken to captivity. He said that the four were taken to a prison in a community with day temperature in the range of 55 degree centigrade. `We were poorly fed. We could neither speak Hausa nor French and nobody spoke English to us,’ Lawal had said. With the arrival of the hijackers in a tiny country of lowly political tempo, a worried President of Niger, Mohamane Ousmane made a broadcast assuring his countrymen that he was on top of the situation. Soon, undercover security operatives began move to track down the brain box of the hijack. This led to the November 14 1993 abduction of the MAD leader, Mallam Jerry Yusuff. The adduction took place three days after the late dictator; General Sanni Abacha took over power. Yusuff was kidnapped from the street of Ilorin and taken to Niger, but the episode was kept under wraps by the governments of Niger and Nigeria. Yusuff said security operatives told him that he was being taking to Abuja but never knew until the plane landed in Niamey. On his secret abduction, the cat was let out of the bag only when officials of the local human rights group, Association Nigerienne Por La Defense Des Droits Dehomme, visited President Ousmane on behalf of the hijackers. In the discussion the President had with them, he unconsciously revealed what was hitherto a state secret when the rights group asked him about the fate of the four hijackers. The President asked them which of the hijackers they were pressing to be released.
The then President then mentioned that Yusuff had been brought into the country, which gave the human rights body the advantage to publicize the abduction of the MAD leader. However, the trial judge who presided over the case of Yusuff, Justice Abdourahmane Gayakoye held that Yusuff should be discharged since he did not commit the offence in Niger Republic; however the then public prosecutor, Mr. Matty El Hadj Moussa appealed the matter. The legal fray did not lead to the release of Yusuff until several years later. Last week, Richard, said when he carried out the action, he had only then left his secondary school in Ondo State. He told The Nation that he was the one that led the cell within the MAD, which felt the `best’ way was to turn the table against military rule and the surrogate government of Shonekan, even if it entailed using anarchical methods. `We were fired by the need to actualize June 12 through any means possible. We wanted to demonstrate rare courage that we could save Nigeria from the shackles of repression by giving a sense of courage to Nigerians.’ Recalling that day with nostalgia, Richard said “we could all have been killed.’ The hijacked also revealed the inadequacies of Nigerian airport security. The security officials had no prior knowledge of the action. There was no tip off.
The pilot himself was probably not trained enough to realize his abductors were holding a toy gun. For instance, in Lagos where the plane took off, Richard and the three others were part of the `innocent passengers’ that boarded the plane from Lagos to Abuja. Mid-sky, Richard said he was the one that stood up from his fastened belt and headed for the cockpit where the pilot and the co-pilot were holed up. He told The Nation he brought out a `gun.’ Richard now admitted, perhaps for the first time since the incident, that it was a toy gun he held that day. After his visit to the cockpit, he said the panicky pilot was compelled to divert the plane from Lagos to Niger Republic, in what arguably was seen as Nigeria’s first plane hijack episode.
He said further: `we wanted freedom, freedom to choose our leaders. We were pushed to the extreme and we reacted in an extreme manner’ he told The Nation. Richard recalled the pains, hunger, deprivation, penury, and threats of death, loneliness and the excruciating heat during the nine harrowing years in Niamey. There was no connection with their relations, no contact with loved ones, from morning till night, for nine years, they had to endure relating with hostile and strange people whose culture were totally different from theirs. On many occasions, death starred at them and the future was almost at an infinite peril, according to them. He and his colleagues were kept for nine years and four months in the arid prison of Niamey that was after several legal fireworks to seek their freedom had failed.
If there is anything the group of four gained, it was probably the ability to speak French, fluently. Richard, who on returning to Nigeria has been trying to enter the University without success, said he `remains a graduate having spent nine years and four months learning how to speak French.’ He however said he is still frustrated `by the lack of job and the inability of the Nigerian government to provide the essentials of life for her citizens including the four.’ On their return to Nigeria, no one or group gave them succor, except their relations, they were left to fend for their future, the prime of which was almost wasted. There was no post trauma treatment or rehabilitation. But while in Ndjamena prison, Kabir had improved his skill for drawing on canvass, sketching personalities and painting. Kenny kept his fashion design prowess alive throughout the gruesome nine years. Kabir and Kenny have now returned to Niger Republic where their knowledge of French and their profession earns them a fair living. Richard on return to Nigeria, attended the Alliance Francaise where he `brushed up his French language course with a diploma degree. But he still needs a salary-earning job.
Richard’s father, Yemi said there were lessons to be learnt from the action of the four boys. First, he said that with the growing wave of kidnappings across the country, it shows that `Nigeria is not working and our children, out of desperation are taking desperate actions, sometimes deadly, to survive what he described as a `stifling socio-political situation.’ He said the current leadership in Nigeria needs to respond to the fundamentals that make young people to want to risk death in the quest for survival saying that the action of the plane hijackers was a `desperate action in response to desperate oppressors in the country.’
However, there are suspicions as to the motif of the kidnap and the covert intrigues behind the action. Was it carried out with the prompting of the Nigerian security operatives under the direct supervision of General Sanni Abacha who was then the Minister of Defense under Shonekan? Was it a plot to create an illusion of insecurity so as to justify the taking over of Shonekan’s government using the innocent teens as unconscious cannon folders and puns in the wicked machination within the intra political struggle among the ruling elite? One: One information at least leaked to the Nigerien media that on the day of the kidnap, another Nigerian plane was earlier, abruptly brought by the Nigerian government to Niamey Airport. Two: a source said the hijackers’ manifesto read that Abacha should take over from Shonekan, this last point on the hijackers manifesto was said to have been stripped with ink when the original list of demands was printed out for the public.
In security parlance, if Abacha used them, there was no way the boys would know, they might have acted with the belief that they were activists defending democratic principles, without understanding the complex power game that underlined their actions,’ one security operative who sought anonymity told The Nation. But Richard’s father, who was equally arrested and detained by the then military government of Abacha said the boys’ actions were voluntary and that they could not have been sponsored by the military so as to aid Abacha’s emergence. He believes their action was born out of frustration against the military government and the growing resentment against the annulment of June 12 election.’ He said though the involvement of his son in the hijack caught him unawares, but that his son had always been known to `defend and promote basic human rights and the freedom of mankind’ right from his youth. He said no military regime could use his son for parochial interests. He said his son’s glowing records as a young boy `who cherishes die-hard rebellion against military rule”, would not at the same time be a pun in the intricate politics of power. Richard said he was partly motivated by Abiola’s reputation as a generous person, saying that he was `proud to have risked his life to see freedom and democracy installed in Nigeria.’
He said `when I was growing up, I see the looting of public treasury, the wickedness of leaders, the I-don’t-care attitude and the rigging of popular elections across the country even today. I knew in my mind that this would lead to chaos and breakdown of law and order as we see today’ saying that economic and political frustrations `tempts the revolutionary flavor in all of us.’ For now, Richard and Lawal have since settled for a new life in Nigeria, after they came in quietly to the country from Niger, the day after they walked into freedom after barely a decade of incarceration. According to them, they continue to try hard, to put the past in the trash bin of history. The only regrets, according to one of them is that the `evil that Nigerians fought against several years back continues to luck around the country’s image.’ He said `its unfortunate that our leaders continue to oppress us, the worst being that we cannot even chose our representatives in the face of fraudulent elections and the daring posture of the perpetrators of crime.’ All however said they would not see the hijacking of plane as the solution anymore and that `they will in fact campaign against’ such or related action.
Richard himself said one good thing about the current socio-political milieu is that “Democracy has brought hope; it has given us an opportunity to reshape our destiny, though we are yet to practice according to the rule.’ Now that his ambition to be a pilot seems headed for the rocks, what other ambition has he? Ogunderu said `he wants to be the President of Nigeria.’ What will be his priority if he, some day, occupies Aso Rock, he said he will `provide the essentials of life; water, housing, energy and food.’ He is of the opinion that the `rage in the land’ and the `growing desperation of young and old people could be put behind’ if there is food on the table of Nigerians. He said: `A system where people cannot afford common vegetables and even gari cannot guarantee peace for the citizenry.’ He said if he becomes the President, he would `curb crime by engaging young people in compulsory education and agriculture. ‘ Lately, he has been involved in the campaign for the restructuring of the country, having worked as a social worker with the Pro National Conference Organizations, PRONACO when the group was canvassing for the restructuring of Nigeria for self-determination.
But for now, Ogunderu’s new wish of becoming the President of Nigeria remains a dream, just a dream, and nothing more.

What happened to the SUBSIDY FUND ? If after removing the petroleum subsidy and still borrowing money, that means something is wrong somewhere.Jona is leading us to a collapse like the way Abacha did, this would affect Nigerians as a whole and the next president would use his tenor to pay debt, like Obasanjo did when resumed office after Abacha #MYOPINION , what do you guys think ?
Politics / President Jonathan Seeks Approval To Borrow N1.24trn by lovelyS(m): 10:45am On Feb 15, 2012
President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday sought the approval of the Senate to borrow $7.9bn (about N1.24trn) for some pipeline projects. In a letter to the President of the Senate, Senator David Mark, and read on the floor of the chamber President Jonathan said that the pipeline projects were already in final stages. President Jonathan explained that the borrowing would cover the period of the medium term framework of the present administration. He said that the amount was broken into US$2.64bn a year to cover the period.

The President added that the cumulative facilities were offered to Nigeria by the World Bank, African Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, Exim Bank of China and India Line Credits. Even though details of the pipeline projects were not disclosed by Mark when he read the letter yesterday, there were indications that the projects included power and general infrastructure development.

The President told the lawmakers that special initiatives were designed to put the economy back on track through growth and employment activities geared towards the implementation of the transformation agenda. He said that projects had been designed to create employment opportunities to grow the economy.

The President asked the Senate to note that the objectives of the projects conformed to the transformation of his administration and cut across various sectors of the economy. The President also asked the Senate to approve the list of pipeline projects for inclusion in the medium term (2012- 2014) external borrowing plans of the Federal Government.

Meanwhile, the Senate said it had uncovered N1trn projects, which were secretly smuggled into the 2012 budget by some Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs). Chairman of the Appropriation Committee, Senator Ahmed Maccido, said this discovery was made during the recently concluded budget defence conducted by the various committees of the National Assembly.

He said that over 40 per cent of the projects presented to the various committees by the MDAs were not originally captured in the N4.79trn budget proposal presented to the National Assembly on December 13 , 2011 by President Jonathan. Maccido stated that if not for the eagle eyes of the lawmakers, the 2012 budget would have shut up to N5.7trn as a result of the discoveries. Maccido added that although the Senate had taken a position to ensure that the 2012 budget was passed before the end of this month, the appropriation committee would subject the budget to a thorough scrutiny to expunge all the unauthorised inclusions.

The appropriation committee chairman in a statement yesterday said: The problem is that we are seeing projects that are not in the originally version of the budget presented to us by President Goodluck Jonathan and the substantial part of these projects are being smuggled into the budget by the MDGS and ministers. Over 40 per cent of the projects in the budget are not in the original budget.

And we are saying no to that. The items so smuggled into the budget are over N1trn. So, we are right now comparing the budget as originally presented by the president and the version presented by the MDGS. Unless these projects are there in the original budget, we are going to scrap them.

It's no longer going to be business as usual. These people are just smuggling in projects that are not in the budgets, and we going to remove them, he said.

Kano: Arrests have been made – President

http://www.talkofnaija.com/News/newsdetailsone.aspx?NewsId=293A5E17-8F68-4BE9-9026-DF1C3E0AC8B6
KANO, (AFP) – President Goodluck Jonathan said Sunday that arrests have been made over attacks in the city of Kano that killed at least 166 people and that the supporters of Boko Haram group were being pursued.

President Goodluck Jonathan visited Kano city on Sunday after one of the deadliest waves of attacks in the country.

Jonathan, facing the biggest crisis of his rule, arrived in the city to see the extent of damages caused by the coordinated bombings and gunbattles that rocked Kano in attacks claimed by the Boko Haram.group.

“A terrorist attack on one person is an attack on all of us,” Jonathan said as he inspected sites targeted in the violence, and met the city’s top Muslim traditional leader, Emir Ado Bayero, pledging to boost security.

“Some arrests have been made. Some died in the process. Some were suicide bombers,” Jonathan said in a BBC interview during the visit.

“There must be people who are sponsoring them. Terrorists all over the world have their source of income,” he said

“We are also looking into those areas to make sure that the so-called Boko Haram… those who are encouraging them, those who are sponsoring them, shall be brought to book.”

Asked about numbers of Boko Haram members, he said: “Nobody can say for now, because you know that they are not organised armed forces.”

Coordinated bombings and gunbattles rocked Kano after Friday prayers in attacks claimed by Boko Haram that targeted a police headquarters and other police stations, a secret police building and immigration offices.

Gunfire also erupted in several areas of the city, which had escaped the worst of the violence blamed on the Islamist group in recent months.

RESIDENTS in the township of Tabubil, Western Province, are cowering in “horror and fear” after a week-old baby was eaten alive in front of a shell-shocked crowd, allegedly by the father.
And the shocking act allegedly continued minutes later at Tabubil police station last Thursday in front of curious onlookers, including policemen and the town’s senior district court magistrate, Patrick Monouluk.
An eyewitness who is employed by Ok Tedi Mining Limited told the Post-Courier that the town is on “red alert”, with residents taking precautionary measures. He claimed parents were restricting their children from going outdoors because of fears that they could also be targets.
“This is the talk of the day on the streets here. All parent are fearing for the safety of their children because cannibals are on the loose here,” the source, who sought anonymity because of his employer’s media restrictions, claimed.
“Believe it or not I saw him eating the baby by piercing its body with his teeth while blood spilled from his mouth. Everybody watched him with fear.”
Acting Western provincial police commander Peter Philip confirmed the horrific act. He said the man entered his home at Wanbin settlement at around 10pm and started an argument with his wife who was nursing the baby.
Chief Insp Philip said after strangling the wife, he grabbed the child and started bitting its head, neck and breast.
“The child was crying in severe pain. The wife alerted neighbours who attempted unsuccessfully to take the baby from him because he was allegedly possessed by evil forces. He’d displayed unusual strength,” Chief Insp Philip said.
He was finally overpowered by task force police who led him to the police station. He said the man allegedly told magistrate Patrick Monouluk: “I won’t give you the baby because God tells me to eat the baby. It’s a threat to me,” when he asked for the baby to be handed over to him.
The “cannibal” is from the Highlands region and married to a woman from the West Sepik Province.
Chief Insp Philip said the baby was again eaten in front of Mr Monouluk and the pursuing crowd.
PPC Philip said the couple adopted the baby girl from the wife’s niece, a single mother, on January 26.
The man is in police custody while preparations are underway to have him medically examined before proper charges are laid.
“It’s a terrible thing for a human being to eat another human flesh in public view. It is the first ever cannibalism case of this kind in PNG,” the 32-year career officer said.
He said he has received a lot of calls from overseas media curious to know about the incident.
Mr Philip is appealing to young mothers not to give away their babies for adoption as they could be mistreated or face similar fate.

Subsidy Issues has separated Nigerians into 3 groups.

[b]Group 1:
This group of people do not understand what Fuel Subsidy is all about but out of sentimental trust ie President is from my state, GEJ is a Christian, my mother, father uncle brother, sister love GEJ thats why i like him,My father, mother, brother etc is working with him. etc This are the follow follow people They are not ready to listen to anybody cos they don't care if Fuel Subsidy is real or not, they are willing to support GEJ to the last day of his tenure in the Presidency.
Group 2: This set of people understand what Fuel Subsidy is all about, but they are not willing to do more research.they trust GEJ and they want subsidy removed by all cost because they want to see the out come (Good road network, Employment, Quality Education, Power, Water) of the FUNDs in the next 6 to 12 months.
Group 3: This group believe that Fuel Subsidy is a FRAUD/SCAM and nothing good will come out of it.They are the real fore seer and they believe past Administration has failed us and they will fail us again and again because they are still in GOVT (Cabal, Cartel, Cronies) and GEJ is too dull to bring them to book.

Can someone describe the following please, AND TELL ME WHAT HE FEELS.

SUBSIDY CALCULATION & SCAMS This economic puzzle is simple enough for anyone to solve. * Fuel subsidy itself is a scam * Removal of self subsidy is a scam * Turn around maintenance of refineries is a scam * Non development of new refineries is a scam * insincerity if government is a scam Fuel Subsidy Equation ------------------------ 1) One barrel of Crude oil = 42gallons or 159 litres 2) Our Refineries (i.e 4) Installed (combined) capacity = 445,000 barrels per day 3) Actual refineries capacity due to ageing equipment = 30% i.e. 133,500 barrels per day . 4) . . 133,500 barrels = 21.2 million litres 5) Local required consumption (F.O.S) = 12millions litres 6) It means that even our MORIBOND refineries can actually meet our local consumption need of petroleum. 7) The cost structure of crude oil (i.e.Qua Iboe Crude Oil) production; - Findings / development - $3.5 - Production cost - $1.5 - Refining Cost - $12.6 - Pipeline/transportation - $1.5 - Distr/bridging fund Margin -$15.69 cool True cost of one litre of petroleum anywhere in Nigeria; - Total sum cost = $34.8 - 1ltr cost = $34.8/159 litres = $0.219 - Naira equiv. 0.219xN160= N35.02k - Add Tax N5 + N35.02 = N40.02 9) Let FGN refute the above composition and if not, they should tell us how they came about N65/litre. 10) Locally refined products cannot be sold at International price. 11) We really do not need FGN SUBSIDY as there was NONE in the first place. 12) What is LACKING, is the WILL to enforce LAW ON CORRUPTION. Pls re-post until it gets to the right quarters for their response; We still stand a chance as a COUNTRY. Analysis done by Professor Tam David West, former Petroleum Minister.
