Politics / Re: Give South Africans Break: Nigeria Is Worse! by LubricatingOil: 12:28pm On Apr 19, 2015
Yes, we Nigerians are worst than the South Africans.

If Abia state can sack out Imo indigenes working in the state, then am with the OP.

Infact, this is what led to the first pogrom against ibos in northern Nigeria. The northerners felt the ibos are taking over their jobs.

You can't come over here, get job and then call our collective heritage a no man's land.

These heartless greedy folks will later claim to be industrious? I was chatting with a friend from southeast about being successful in Lagos and all that then I told him that 75% of his brothers claiming to buy properties here in lagos didn't actually made such money here. Rather they push drugs invest the proceeds here.

I'm 100% conservative and I believe foreigners should have limited involvement in matters bordering their host community and traditional values must be sacrosanct in every society.

Not so simple sir.

The results for

- presidential
- reps
- state lawmakers

do not support your Agbaje likeability theory.

Rather the progressive electoral reforms by Jonathan have made Tinubu's rigging LESS effective.

Like what we saw in Rivers and Akwa Ibom? Fooling yourself since 1886.

EUROBOMBER:
[s]Everything that happened in the Oba's palace was rehearsed and well planned by the APC, Oba and the Igbo Ezes in Lagos. The only way Ambode could beat Agbaje was to pitch the Yoruba against the Igbo and that is exactly what happened. Who recorded the whole thing and why was it leaked to the public? If this whole Oba episode had not happened, a lot of Yorubas would have voted for Agbaje and it was common knowledge that the Igbos would vote in block for Agbaje being their party man. The APC saw this and decided to play the ethnic card which worked perfectly. They know our people well and that we will shout and bring down heaven when we see the video just like we reacted during the deportation saga. Alot of Yorubas who initially wanted to vote for Agbaje ended up changing their mind to vote for Ambode because they saw it as Yoruba vs Igbo and they wanted to prove to the Igbo their dominance in Lagos. The whole drowning in Lagoon speech was a carefully written and acted script.

All this was part of Tinubu's game, wake up! Don't be surprised to go to the Oba's palace and find him drinking with those Igbo Ezes. embarassed embarassed

They successfully labelled Agbaje as Okeshuku. [/s] cheesy cheesy

babasanti:

Its on vanguard newspaper, ibb said it with his mouth. Pdp was formed in his house, google it and see. Late Rimi is IBb's boy

IBB said what?

Let me help you out.

The PDP was an amalgamation of groups. Initiated by G9, comprising Dr. Alex Ekwueme, Chief Solomon Lar, Senator Francis Ellah, Alhaji Abubakar Rimi, Chief Bola Ige, Dr. Iyorcha Ayu, Prof. Jerry Gana, Alhaji Sule Lamido and Mallam Adamu Ciroma, it metamorphosed to G18 and G34. Founded on August 31, 1998 , the PDP has had 11 national chairmen in the last 17 years, including ex-Vice President Alex Ekwueme who was in office for three months before quitting to contest for the presidential ticket with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo. Other past chairmen were the late Chief Solomon Lar; Sen. Barnabas Gemade; Chief Audu Ogbeh; Sen. Ahmadu Ali; Prince Vincent Ogbulafor; Okwesilieze Nwodo; Bello Haliru Mohammed; Abubakar Kawu Baraje; Bamanga Tukur; and Adamu Muazu. But the build-up to the fall of the PDP started during its National Convention in 1999 when it began to change its leadership like clothes. At the said convention, Chief Gemade, who was backed by the presidency, defeated Chief Sunday Awoniyi to become the first elected national chairman of the party. It was the first direct interference of the government in the internal affairs of the PDP and most foundation members were disappointed that the then Obasanjo administration was about to hijack the party structure.
