No one said tithing was not commanded in the Bible. The problem here is who the tithe be given. Pastors where never mentioned. In fact tithe was to be eaten by tithers in the presence of God and extended to the widows, orphans and levies because they have no inheritance. So help me understand why I should do otherwise

daddy freeze is not quoting the bible correctly ..that's my only problem with him - he quote Matthew 23:23 but he did not finished the verse he quoted ...Jesus did not say people should not pay tithe , he actually said , -..people have neglected the weightier portion of the law , justice and mercy and faithfulness but these are things they should have done without neglecting the others referring to the TITHE ..read it for yourself

I was about telling God to bless this food (you) which am about to eat out of the abundance of my heart. But I realized its a waste of time and energy. If you have advanced far in life and human endeavour, I would have responded to you well this great Easter. But talking to a second year or first year empty headed student makes me sick. Responding to someone who lacks wisdom and understanding of what the woman role is in the society makes me feel weak. And to think I am talking to someone who should be reading her books in other to graduate with perhaps a better grade rather than come to Nairaland and be talking about relationship makes me think twice. You know what? You don't know what relationship is all about and you might have been into at most two and which all of them failed. 4.Like i said being successful doesnt necessarily mean you're ranking in millions. Being able to fulfil your goals and being comfortable is enough.
