Dear Nairaland,

I came across the above thread on Front Page stating what Muslims believe about my Lord Jesus Christ. It was put on front page on a Friday, a day pro-islamic threads make front page. What bothers me is that the thread spoke things about my Father and Saviour which are contrary to what I know of him. The sad part is that I couldn't correct those things cos Islamic threads are locked away from non-muslims who can only comment if they swear an Islamic creed. That is why I decided to create this thread to put to correction all those things said about my Father, just as a son would. I will appreciate it if the Moderators move this thread to front page this Sunday in the spirit of fairness.

First and foremost, Easa is not the name given to the Messiah we Christians believe in. His real name is Yahshua. The Bible says he comes in his Father's name (Mathew 23:39). Yahshua means Yahweh's Salvation. Easa doesn't carry such meaning.

Yes, he was a prophet but not a slave talk less of being a slave of Allah. He is the son of the Living God YAHWEH who called him his beloved Son.

If by Easa you mean Jesus/Yahshua, then you are wrong. Tell me how many men can raise the dead? Those that do that today so it in his name. How many men ressurected from the dead as they promised they would? Those that do that today testify of how he resurrected them. How many perform healing as he did? Those that do today so it in his name.

Saying God has to have a wife before having a son is similar to limiting God's powers. If you believe that the God who created heaven and the earth, humans and animals etc needs a wife before he can have a son, then it's best you stop believing he created all those things.

Islam's denial of Jesus being the son of God who is Father has rendered the religion a LIAR and an Antichrist religion.

Who is the LIAR? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the ANTICHRIST--denying the Father and the Son.

Hey guys,

I'm in my mid 20's and i've been working for a few years now, my current salary is very decent and i'm striving to earn more. Obviously at my age, i'm thinking of the long term which obviously includes my career but i'm also looking forward to and marriage and kids. However, the vast majority of guys i've met are either not ready for the long term, or they're still in their 'struggling' phase.

Is it bad that I want someone who is at least on the same level as me, or maybe even slightly below? Am I a 'gold-digger' because i don't really want to 'eat garri' with a guy before he blows? I don't mind having to split the bill once in a while or even contribute but i'm a lady that's used to certain tastes. Do I keep looking for these 'almost/made guys'(can anyone tell me where to find them? lol) or do I settle for a struggler.

Hello dear, your thoughts are good ones but you need to also face the reality. We don't always get 100% of what we want in life and by waiting to get it, we tend to waste so much of our time and before we know it, we becomes desperate to get just anything which will not be your portion inn shaa Allah.

You can just support any guy with potential since you earning a decent salary. A reasonable guy will plan something meaningful with an asset like you. For instance, as your guy, if am still struggling but have some wonderful business ideas rolling in my head, I expect you to support me with at least little capital to start with knowing that I have little capital with me too. The capital in question must not be big, something around 200k will do plus the one I have too say 200k which makes it 400k. Just to start up something. Remember to never despise a small beginning.

However, to do all this, you must be a woman with large heart. Ordinary woman can't do it. Also, you don't do this for an ordinary guy, it has to be an extraordinary guy with extraordinary potentials.

When I was processing my travelling to the US, my ex gave me 20k to pay for my international passport. Though, for a reason I couldn't complete the process. But if the process had been successful, there's no way I will not make reference to her whenever am narrating my success story. Even now, whenever am using my passport for a purpose, I always remember her for good.

Stop thinking that what if the guy disappoint me. You should always think positive. Life itself is not certain.
Take the risk to take the lead! All the winners you see today were at one point in their life a risk taker!

That's exactly what I'm saying. Different strokes for different countries. UK and CA look at documents objectively. US assumes every document is a forgery ( I don't blame them)
I have no idea why the guy was refused the first time. Cos I'm my opinion that's where the root of the problem usually lies. I also know if folks that were denied unfairly and they reapplied and presented a strong case and got. We also had someone like that here -100dollarbill. With all the flenty travel history and sereree them bounce am. E reapply come get.
In my own case I believe the embassy was right to refuse Me the first time I applied cos i clearly had no idea how the system worked. One could look nervous and be wrongly profiled a flight risk.

i collected Samsung and to me, it is the best out of all the device they are sharing..... I fell in love with afri-one because it came with keyboard not until when someone on it, it look so blurred and the touch is not sensitive enough to me.... the spec of Samsung might be lower than other phone but trust me, none of those phone can be compare with Samsung in quality

Masters degree students can still fly it the school is resuming in mid October or November, but for undergraduate it can't fly again.

Hello, as long as the statement of account is suitable for the purpose you're using it for. Please go on! No need to panic about someone else has used it or whatever. It's your statement at the period forget about previous period. After all, one sponsor could be responsible for three students. It's all depends on his capacity. The statement of account just have to be recent one up to the current date. Then you are good. #NoFear

Welcome on board bro, nice advice, I always advice people to apply, Scandinavia no de make noise, na wetin make many people no too put eye or know about am. I know believe the level of advancement and quality of life here, it was all surprising when I landed earlier, and it makes me dey happy say i no go spend millions to study in UK as I planned earlier. surprise to even see many americans, canadians, aussie and other EU citizens coming here to study due to their free tuition and high standard of education.

at least you go get your degree and enter other place of your choice if you no wan settle here, just like some dey do
