Elections are over, reno is shifting to another business

Kano election has been one of the most controversial since the beginning of 2019 elections and till this moment, the election process in the state seems to be filled with all sort of irregularities and alleged manipulations by the two major parties in the country.

As reported by Sahara reporters, a man identified as Nasir Mansur Mohammed who is one of the voters in Kano during the elections rerun was violently attacked by hoodlums carrying weapons when he went to exercise his constitutional franchise at Santulma Primary School Polling unit Gama Ward.

Nasir said he was saved by "good samaritans" who took him to the hospital where he spent three hours in admission, snitched and discharged.

In his words: "Alhamdulillah. I survived. I was violently attacked by thugs at Santulma Primary School polling unit at Gama Ward in Kano today Saturday."

Is the fraud called elections in Nigeria worth dying for? I don't think so. Lessons learnt." Nasiru said.

Personal Assistance to president Muhammadu Buhari on new media and coordinator, Buhari Centre Bashir Ahmad, has in a twitter post accused the party leaders of APC and PDP of being the caused of the electoral violence in Kano after one @dadiyata who is suspected to be a PDP member and a kwankwasiyya accused him of not condemning the violence going on in Kano.

Responding to the tweet by @dadiyata, Bashir Ahmad wrote "I will never welcome violence in anywhere @dadiyata, Kano is the last State I would hope any kind of violence to happen, my everything is there, both of us know who and what caused such violence, leaders of our party, APC & leaders of your party, PDP. So we should all condemn it."

Earlier today, it was reported that Kayode Ogundamisi condemned the violence in the Kano election rerun with a post on his twitter handle that has been trending online especially twitter. In the reports, Kayode Ogundamisi was referred to as APC spokesperson which has got him wondering why people would give him such a title just because he's a staunch supporter of his excellency, president Muhammadu Buhari.

However, Ogundamisi denied being a spokesperson to APC in his new post on twitter and cleared the air that, support for president Muhammadu Buhari does not automatically translate to support for Governor Umar Ganduje.

Mukhtar defeated his counterparts by wide margin polling 534,202 while Bello Mohammad Mattawake, his PDP opponent, polled 190,016. Insidelyf..com can report.

The Zamfara governorship candidate, Alhaji Mukhtar Shehu Idris of APC is currently leading according to the results released so far. Results of yesterday's governorship and state house of assembly show All Progressive Congress is in the early lead in some polling units.

Alhaji Mukhtar Shehu Idris has won his polling unit the Army Barracks Polling Unit (014) in Tundun Wada area of Gusau Local Government with a landslide. He polled 1,131 votes against his opponents, Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Peoples Democratic Party PDP and Bala Bello of Accord Party who got one vote each.

Report from The News Agency Of Nigeria (NAN) has it that the Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Mr. Nicholas Tofowomo the winner of the Ondo South supplementary elections.

As reported by The News Agency Of Nigeria, Tofomowo polled 81,892 to defeat his opponent who is an incumbent senator, Sen. Yele Omogunwa of the All Progressive Congress Who polled 55,610 votes.

Having polled the largest number of votes, The INEC Returning Officer for Ondo South declared Tofofomo winner of the election.

“Having satisfied the law by having the highest number of votes in a concluded election, I hereby declare Tofowomo of the PDP winner and he is hereby returned elected,’’ he said.

According to NAN reports, Tofowomo had earlier polled 71,029 against Omogunwa who polled 51,993 during the Feb 23rd, 2019 National Assembly election.

Due to irregularities in 56 polling units, The INEC returning officer had declared the election inconclusive owing to the fact the canceled 28,047 votes were higher than the margin of 27,036 votes between Tomowo and his opponent.

Okay, Guys! Have you ever watched the South African Parliament proceeding? Damn it's so funny!

In the video shared by @AfricaFactsZone on twitter, a member of the parliament who took offense that her colleague was called an anarchist demanded that Mr. Deputy Speaker withdraw the statement. But he said there's nothing wrong in the statement which he termed as a political statement.

Then, the member also said 'Deputy Speaker, you're an anarchist' the speaker replied " sorry?" member repeated "you're an anarchist" Lol. Then, Mr. Deputy Speaker also asked that She(the member complaining) withdraw it too. How can African leaders be this self-centered?

A 40-year-old animal carer Arun Panikkar was washing the elephant in his care when the unfortunate happened and led to his death. Very sad.

Video footage shows Arun washing the elephant and whipping it so hard that he lost his balance and fell underneath it. dailymail.co.uk reported.

The incident happened in Karappuzha in Kottayam district of Kerala in Southern Indian.

From the video, he was trying to make the elephant lie down in order to clean his back but the elephant was reluctant. Mr. Panikkar hit it with a stick but while doing that, he slips and falls, and immediately he falls, the animal sits down.

Another man is seen in the footage trying to help out, attempting to move the elephant but couldn't as the elephant is too huge to be moved by just one person.

China as a country seems to be ahead in everything in this generation. An experimental videotape shared on Twitter shows how little children were resisting kidnapping attempt by adults.

As shared by the Twitter user HENRY @onos_147, children are seen in the video systematically holding the legs of the adults who attempted to kidnap them. What a great stride by China!

After watching the video, you will agree with some of us that this is a very astonishing technique and it should be an approach every working country should adopt because the rate of criminal activities across the globe is increasing daily and we must find a means to curb it.
