I'm not in the mood to analyze, but this write up has so much loop holes that easily renders it useless. Nigerians can believe anything though... To imagine the writer even referred to one TB Joshua's prophecy? KAI! |
This is a course worthy of creating hashtags for. Something like #BringbackourAjaokutaSteelCompany. I read up there that it has huge potentials of even becoming the major revenue source for the country. It's time our youths started getting their priorities right and leave the Celebrity gossip, at least for a while. |
Seriously, Perez should go as well. His cluelessness on moving the club forward is too glaring. I wasn't excited at all at the announcement of Rafa as the new Coach-very dumb decision, to me. In my opinion, he should have given Carlo some time, rather than taking the autocratic decision to let him off just like that; I didn't even see that coming. He is just too overbearing in the club. #Perez should go too. |
It is high time punishment for this nonsense is made stifer and trial process accelerated. We need to start reading in the news what kind of punishment was meted out to these criminals. Give due publicity to the punishment too, not just the rape news. |
That's objective, purposeful and objective criticism. Party supporters across all divide should take a cue and not merely see this as another battle ground. |
EternalTruths:Ogbeni, go look bush. Your emotional blackmail will not work. #We stand for a better Nigeria. #God bless our President. |
Ahmed4002:Waiyyakum. It's my pleasure dear brother. |
AlhamduliLLah. Our brothers have done adequate justice in response to the issue you raised. I will advise you do away with the ego and take heed of those corrections. Islam is not a religion where we can scramble together some verses of the Qur'an and the Hadith to support our random ideas and opinion, without seeking to learn the teachings of our righteous predecessors and learned scholars on that matter (May Allah bless them all for their sincere efforts). Do not get it wrong, there is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to the Creator. Your family can not disprove of you if you show love to them through out the year and refuse to join in acts that defy Allah every once in a while. In fact, no one has said you should take a break from showing love to your non-Muslim family during the Christmas celebrations; just ensure it is in the normal form you've always done it, but making your utmost efforts to avoid anything that has to do with the Christmas or any other festival of such. You could give them a phone call or visit them as you have regularly done throughout the year and spend as much time as you want during the period, but avoid your salutations or discussions from shifting to the celebrations at hand. It is simple, sincerely, as long as you have already established your dos and don'ts. If there is sincere affection, they will respect your position. AlhamduliLLah, you also quoted in your post the hadith where the Prophet (Peace be upon him) talked about his affinity with Prophet Eesa (Peace be upon him). It is therefore evident that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) is even more entitled to hold whatever celebrations in his honour, if it were truly the right thing to do. From the foregoing, the truth of this matter is evident and we should, as true believers, stick with that, no matter how emotionally difficult it is for us. May Allah grant us Istiqomoh, Aamiin. |
...But who is Dr. Omalu and why should we care? So much has been written and said about this man in America that I don’t even know where to start. Well, I think I should start with his claim to fame. Dr. Omalu became famous for being “the first to publish findings of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in American football players.” This sounds ordinary on the surface. But it’s actually a lot bigger than it seems. The National Football League (NFL) is America’s richest and most popular sport. No one takes on this American financial and cultural behemoth and comes out alive. But Omalu did—with his brains—and is alive to tell the story. Through careful, studious, self- financed research, Omalu demonstrated that American football players were susceptible to the kinds of brain injuries that boxers and war veteran suffer as a result of repeated hits to their heads. The National Football League was outraged by this. Omalu’s findings threatened NFL’s multi-billion-dollar industry. If it is established that playing American football rendered people susceptible to permanent, irreversible brain injuries, the future of the sport—and the billions of dollars it rakes in —was in grave danger. As you would expect, the NFL fought back—and they fought dirty. Dr. Omalu’s credibility and competence were called into question. He was accused of “practicing voodoo,” a subtle racist dig at his Nigerian origins and the supposed intellectual inferiority that this fact implies. Big-name American medical researchers at the NFL demanded that Omalu’s paper, which was published in the prestigious Neurosurgery journal, be retracted. They said the paper’s findings were flawed. But here is where it gets interesting... Read full story at: www.farooqkperogi.com/2015/12/bennet-omalu-nigerian-american-hero.html?m=1 Cc: Lalasticlala |

Any good spirited brother can accommodate a fellow bro here. I'm currently stranded in PH. My contact here failed me at the eleventh hour, and I have had to put up in different Mosques for the second night running now, and I just need somewhere to put my head, as I can take care of my feeding and other sundry matters. Thank you in anticipation, and God bless. I will be looking out for a kind response on this thread. |
This SE/SS corrupt minded e-idiots will not kill us with their stupididty. The same Sanusi that supported the subsidy removal, even against the wish of the opposition and the masses is now anti-GEJ?? I guess he should just have turned a blind eye to possible discrepancy, cos GEJ and their other 'children' in his Givernment are 'saints' who can never go wrong?? You guys are incredulously ridiculous! |
