Hello guys,

Please, between RUHR Universitat Bochum and Friedrich Schiller University Jena, which would you go for? Consider economic and employment factors in your answers.

I earnestly await your answers. Thank you so much.

Go for Ruhr university,Bochum . The state has the highest population in germany and so many big cities surrounding bochum that can give employment benefits. NRW is one of the best state in Germany in term of economic and employment benefits compare to jena in eastern germany.

Somebody should answer this please, is the GPA really matter or only transcript is needed?

Hello guru,.please what's the chance of someone gaining admission to bachelor degree in Germany with 2.2gpa in 100level here in Nigeria, does the GP really matter,or all they need is transcript for 100level.

Hmm. How's one gonna raise that amount again. I'm planning on taking a few loan from relatives if i get in. Or is getting a job there easy, and would one be able to save up that amount?

Never stress ur self about the second year, the most important thing for u is to get here, have u ever seen someone being deported back because it cant meet up ,there is work available for students to sustain their self.when u get to that bridge, u will cross it

Do embassy accept mawista when they request for travel health insurance?
Mawista usually issue insurance on monthly basis but embassy demands either 3 or 6 months travel health insurance.

Embassy do accept mawista ,is not monthly basis bro, check their forms on their website. I have my insurance being run from Nigeria till here,it depends on the term you want on your insurance. You are the one to specify the speculated time u want ur insurance to be run.

Domiciliary is faster but not better than Form A,i decided to use domiciliary when some banks are unwilling to do the form A for me.

Hey guys, I want to find out ones chances of gaining admission in Germany despite being unemployed for some years in Nigeria. I was told your employment status plays a huge role while drafting your motivation letter, that having job experience relating the field you are seeking to pursue is a huge plus. I'm asking because I've been unemployed for 3 years now and I really want to give it a shot.

So I'm asking, do they really consider that?

Employed status does not matter,i was unemployed like u,but i didn't stated that in my CV and motivation letter. Draft ur CV and motivation letter well,u have to bend some rules in doing that,a word is enough for the wise

the third party nonsense asking of id upon u av told dem the person sending is a known person dey changed their account details without informing me dey refunded my money two weeks now i am still expecting the money even a friend of mine encountered such fintiba is beta i had a close encounter with dem so i know wat i am saying u being lucky doesnt mean others shouldn't share their experiences! Imagine xpatrio asking a friend the kind of job his relative does in the UK because for crediting his BA.

U don't seem to get this, the problem we have is that we youth of nowadays fail to read, it is already stated in their laws check their site,if third party pay for u,his identity and utility bills need to be provided, that's normal according to German law in order to prevent money laundering. Germany is not Nigeria, they must have prove n evidence of where ur money is coming from,i sent my money directly from my domiciliary account in Nigeria,no questions or evidence of payment is being asked of. They don't ask for much provide the identity n utility bill of the person being paid for you, that's all. As for the account details, there is no way they will change their account details without telling u,is not possible, that's a lie from pit of hell, they will mail u concerning any development, I received regular mails from them not only me,i have like 3people that also used x patrol and nobody complain. If they are not competent and efficient enough German embassy won't be recommending them for Block Account ,so stop give people bad impression about x patrio,i enjoyed using their service.

You're very much welcome bro.

Winter semester start from April till July ( this depends on you choice of Uni) However, it's best you start equipping your self with the necessary information.

I'll recommend you start from page 1, I'm sure you'll be glad you did by the time you finish reading up to the current page

Regards

Winter semester does not start in April, don't be surprised by then some schools would ve close admission, schools in Hamburg, Berlin and Frankfurt do start admission as early as January. If u wish to apply for winter admission stay glued to daad.de to monitor admission process.

I want to appreciate everyone giving out valuable information on here. I have a little problem. I'm interested in studying at FAU ERLANGEN but I have not been seeing good reviews about their admission, is there anyone that knows a student in that school. Saw on nairaland they refused admission because of certification ( probably they don't accept any document not certified by the embassy). Thank you
I have done my certification at a high court but need be I may have to go to the embassy to make another set of certified documents

They accept only notarized copies with stamped and red sealed in it
