For people that did their biometrics in Apr/May, if a decision has been made on your application and you are yet to receive your passport, please go to twitter and tag @ukinnigeria @UKVI @CatrionaLaing1. While we wait and pray, let's use the resources at our disposal to press for a positive outcome. Also, continue sending complaints to UKVI on their gov.uK website.

MarryWhiteasap:

Young man get yourself together this message is to enlighten you on proceedings of a foreign entity on your land. If so please request for immediate release of your passport and tag your GWF ID number and then watch as you will receive it not coming here to disturb a thread that needs enlighten individual on how to go about their application processing

This is the reason why our leaders take us for granted. Patience you say! For a service that was paid for? They hold my passport for over 10weeks and you're telling me patience. Is it only the UK I need my passport for? This is highly insensitive of you.
MarryWhiteasap:
In all we do Patient is key.
None dragged any one to apply
Regardless of the kind of permit, Patient is important
Just as you have needs to meet so as others
Let's not forget your passport is your identity solely to you.
stop being too fast and distress during visa application processing. Ensure you raise the customer support service when escalated on your side and follow updates on the immigration website.
Pray if you like but try and be patient. There are more than 50,000 application every month to be processed.
Not only Nigeria have population other countries do.

Hmmmmm It's like there's problem somewhere. Seems like most people who have this issue did bio in may. Decision made but no passport yet. While we pray, let's start tagging @ukinnigeria @UKVI on twitter. Let's make it trend.
Tenifayo31:
Good day,

I and my husband did biometric on the 27th of May 2022 for UK visa, he is the main applicant for student visa and I am the dependent. He got his passport on Friday, 24th of June, 2022, and decision had been made on my application since 20th of June. But till now I’m still yet to get an update on my tls page. I have called Ukvi several times, sent paid mails and they said decision have been made that I should have gotten a collection mail from TLS Ikeja by now. Escalation have been done.

Also I strongly believe there’s a mix up or oversight somewhere because there are lot persons who also did their biometric within 27th to 30th of May, who have had decision made since 20th June but no update from TLS. I have also been to TLS Ikeja thrice only to be told my passport is not ready, that they have not received any official information on the decision made on my application and it will be escalated.

This is really not fair and I am so worried, emotionally and mentally disturbed that I would not be able to travel with my husband. It’s really crazy waiting for 8 weeks for a visa application that takes 3weeks. People who did their biometric around June and even July have gotten their visa. The inconvenience is highly unfair.

Please I don't know what to do anymore, people are not allowed to enter the Deputy British High Commission in Lagos. Please kindly advice and help me.

Thanks.

It is well! Mine a decision has been made since 1st July. Bio was May 16th. This is my 5th visa. Let us encourage one another and pray for something positive next week. I was very worried before, but now I have a level of peace within me. I have no control over the situation, let Jehovah intercede.
peace2peace:
Yes, a decision has been made since but I have no clue why my documents have not been sent. I'm not a first time applicant.

Can someone please put me out of my misery. Has anyone waited more than 15days after decision for TLScontact to send collection mail? I've sent several paid mails, still the same story. Decision has been made pls wait for TLScontact to contact you for collection or delivery. I'm tired

It's DHL delivery I'm not in Lagos. Honestly I'm at my wits end.
Palolisthajoly:

Go to the TLS, tell them you want to collect passport. Someone said it here last week she went to Abuja TLS without getting a collection mail from TLS and she got her passport. Her paid mail indicated that decision had been made. She got the collection mail after she had already gotten her passport. Unless you used DHL services. If it's self pickup, once decision has been made, just go there.

It's more than 10days since I was told a decision has been made on my application. Tlscontact still hasn't sent my passport. My application still says at DMC. I beyond worried here. This is the 9th week. Everyone in my family has received their visa.

In my own case, decision made since 1st July, yet to receive collection mail. Meanwhile I've collected my daughter's own whose decision was made 4th of July.
Today makes it 9weeks since biometrics.

Biometrics x 3- June 21
Biometrics x 1- June 20
Paid mail- decision made said to wait for 10 working days as usual for TLS
Anytime TLS contacts will re-update.

Hello all, can someone pls help me make sense of this.
Family of 3 did biometrics 16th of May
14th June, 1 passport delivered Visa granted.
After several complaints and paid mail, was told on the 5th of July that decision has been made on the remaining 2 applications l, that visa was issued on the 1st and 4th of July respectively.
13th of July collection mail for 1passport whose visa was issued on the 4th.
14th of July it was delivered and the visa was issued on the 4th.
I have not received any collection mail about the remaining passport, whose visa was issued on the 1st of July. Tracking still says at DMC.
It's puzzling and worrying at the same time cos one would expect I would receive the one that was issued on July 1st before the one of July 4th. Has this ever happened to anyone? Should I be worried? Or is this TLScontact logistic confusion?
