Yes, a decision has been made since but I have no clue why my documents have not been sent. I'm not a first time applicant.

It is well! Mine a decision has been made since 1st July. Bio was May 16th. This is my 5th visa. Let us encourage one another and pray for something positive next week. I was very worried before, but now I have a level of peace within me. I have no control over the situation, let Jehovah intercede.

Yes do the followings.
1. Open a company bank account separate it from personal account
2. You may wish to pay or not pay yourself, if you do, let such transaction be documented and clearly initiated from your company account.
3. Ensure that your company has active status on CAC website
4. Provided documentation for Tax payments/assessment for your company and you.
5. If you have properties like house, land etc. prepare to submits it too.
Any documents that demonstrate to the ECO that you will return back to Nigeria should be submitted. If your wife get her visa, the chances that you will also get it when you apply alone is bright. However, you must have a good reason to visit the UK. I hope this will help.
thank you so much, can I meet up if I start everything now? Her exam is around March next year

Too early for her to apply for UK visa. Normally it should be 4 months to travel time. That is in December 2022. You can start putting your business in order for a successful application next year.

What questions did they ask your cousin?
They just wanted to confirm that we were related, probably because we don’t share the same surname as she is my cousin from my mum’s side. So they asked her some personal questions about me. I’m a first time applicant, so maybe that’s why.

Good day,

I and my husband did biometric on the 27th of May 2022 for UK visa, he is the main applicant for student visa and I am the dependent. He got his passport on Friday, 24th of June, 2022, and decision had been made on my application since 20th of June. But till now I’m still yet to get an update on my tls page. I have called Ukvi several times, sent paid mails and they said decision have been made that I should have gotten a collection mail from TLS Ikeja by now. Escalation have been done.

Also I strongly believe there’s a mix up or oversight somewhere because there are lot persons who also did their biometric within 27th to 30th of May, who have had decision made since 20th June but no update from TLS. I have also been to TLS Ikeja thrice only to be told my passport is not ready, that they have not received any official information on the decision made on my application and it will be escalated.

This is really not fair and I am so worried, emotionally and mentally disturbed that I would not be able to travel with my husband. It’s really crazy waiting for 8 weeks for a visa application that takes 3weeks. People who did their biometric around June and even July have gotten their visa. The inconvenience is highly unfair.

Please I don't know what to do anymore, people are not allowed to enter the Deputy British High Commission in Lagos. Please kindly advice and help me.

Thanks.

Hmmmmm It's like there's problem somewhere. Seems like most people who have this issue did bio in may. Decision made but no passport yet. While we pray, let's start tagging @ukinnigeria @UKVI on twitter. Let's make it trend.
