*Shred as received!* ITS NOT ABOUT TRIBE, ITS ABOUT FAILED LEADERSHIP By Ugo Chikezie:hen I hear people saying one tribe or the other is being marginalized in Nigeria, I just laugh. Because the truth is that every tribe in Nigeria is marginalized. In my opinion there are only TWO TRIBES in Nigeria; 1) THE *Shared as received!* ITS NOT ABOUT TRIBE, ITS ABOUT FAILED LEADERSHIP By Ugo Chikezie: When I hear people saying one tribe or the other is being marginalized in Nigeria, I just laugh. Because the truth is that every tribe in Nigeria is marginalized. In my opinion there are only TWO TRIBES in Nigeria; 1) THE RULING CLASS 2) THE PEOPLE. It does not matter which language you speak..... if you go round this country, you will see that every region is marginalized. For example, will the families of Theodore Orji, Rochas Okorocha, Ken Nnamani, Anyim Pius, etc in the southeast ever complain of marginalization ? NO!!!Will the families of IBB, Atiku, Saraki, Abacha, Abubakar etc from the north complain of marginalization NO!!!Will the families of Ahmed Tinubu, Ayo Fayose, Kashamu, FFK, Fashola, Fayemi etc in the South-West complain of marginalization ? NO!!!Will the families of Godswill Akpabio, Lucky Igbinedion, Goodluck Jonathans, James Ibori, Godsday Orubebe, Diezani Alison Madueke ect in the South-South ever complain of marginalization ? NO!!!But please go and visit their regions and see for yourself how under-developed the whole places are and the level of poverty in all these regions, then you will understand it's not a tribal thing. All these people who are stealing our money belong to one tribe, irrespective of their languages. They unite in looting our common patrimony, so we must stop fooling ourselves with this tribal talks. The only reason why Lagos and Abuja are reasonably developed is because they are Federal capital territory and were built with oil money before private investors began to come in. Check other states in the country, (SOUTHEAST, SUTHSOUTH, SOUTHWEST, NORTH EAST, NORTH CENTRAL and NORTHWEST) then you will understand what I am saying. Most parts of are under developed.... We need to arise and hold our so called leaders accountable and stop looking at everything from tribal angle. The Igbo leaders have been collecting allocations from federal purse since the end of the civil, what exactly have they used the money to do Same goes to the yoruba leaders and hausa leaders, Ijaw leaders, Ibibio leaders, etc... So you see, it not a tribal thing.....We need visionary leaders who will understand that they are in government to serve not to steal. Unfortunately, most people in the country are still myopic and are still looking at things from a very narrow angle. We need to stop fighting ourselves and team up and take the fight to the people who are stealing what belongs to all of us. If you don't know who your real enemy is, you will keep fighting a wrong battle. CLASS 2) THE PEOPLE. Nothing do Saraki. In case you were expecting anything. Asset declaration is a scam. Ask Mr. President. We don't know the veracity of his asset declaration too. |
The emir didn't say to convert mosques 2 schools. More like, it should be used for academic purposes a swell. I like the idea. Use it to inculcate against extremism. The north needs that. To be able to use logic more. |
