Wot I notice in D online recrment excse: Applicants should reduce the size of attached docs i.e .jpeg or .png so that your certs, pics or cvs can attach on time. Also, methinks that 1 way d fcsc office boys are limiting d amount of workload they have to deal with is to delibrately prevent applicants from successfully completing their applications online WHILE those at d zonal offices will hoard some of d forms.Example is item 2 which was madeinaccessible up until yesterday. SO KEEP TRYING YOU ARE A NIGERIA |
only long distance courses exist in places such as unilag. lasu has sandwhich programs. all very dull |
how genuine is ttc mobile as a recruitment company? |
now, ttc-mobile claims to train and source for employment, but common sense says that there are very limited IT projects across the country which means that there are very limited IT job vacancies, so a friend told me that in order for TTC to survive, as soon as U pay your money U start to hear dozen reasons why yo can't be given employment! excuses may range from age barrier to class-of-degree requirement, especially as placements are usually entry level slots! so is TTC-MOBILE deceivi ng the public |

Applications made directly to the company itself is free. can someone explain if allowing a third party like "power 77" to conduct skills acquisition training is not encouraging fraud? http://www.naptin.org.ng/index.php/training-programmes/naptin-graduate-skill-development-programme/careers-application-form/ |
I think CTO stands for Commonwealth Telcommunication Operators |
Has CTO being abandoned in Nigeria by the commercial section of the US embassy? Does anyone know if one is planned 4 this year? None was held last year |

I am grateful for the frank advise. I have many more puzzles because its my livelihood thats involved. But I want to go out and find training outfits and costs based on all I've read on this thread. I will have to get back to you. Thank you both and all. |
Thank you very much. I have googled the course on mcitp. 1. @chamber2 how does one get that kind of entrance to a major IT firm from my very limited experience or do you mean after CCNA? 2. @yamakuza, In terms of hands-on experience, any sugestions as to training outfits in nigeria? And I have no major clue as to starting a business. With my present skills I usually wonder what IT biz I can do? |
If there is any genuineness in this, please give us your company name and address and speciality |
@Moderator, @Justwise and nairalanders I am in desperate need of your opinion & assistance. I am in my late 40s. I have a 1st deg in science then trained as desktop repair technician. With this I worked as a 'computer engineer' at a computer firm-repairing desktop computers and doing general maintenance. Later I was to work in 2 offices (NGOs) providing what I would call 'office support' services. I even managed the LAN and managed the microsoft exchange server 2003. I was also the eye of the 2 organizations I worked for in dealing with service providers and IT-Upgrades. I have no certification whatsoever and now with the companies restructuring or winding up am left to look 4 a job. I manage 2 complete my masters degree in IT, but still don't have a clue on the best carrier path. If I manage to get funds, I want a training or certification or mentoring programe that will make a difference. I'll send my cv on request. Please help. |
Will appreciate prompt replies on the best bet in terms of training, certs, mentoring or employment |
