Esanyonmi: 1989 toyota camry with 293339 km as at this morning it was bought 2002 at 90512km so that's a good car and still going Strong . Major works done are radiator change. Spark plugs have never been changed, engine never touched but power steering oil keeps leaking so I top it eVery other day. STRONG CAR

Mine is equally 1989 Toyota Camry with 67,000 km when bought almost 3 years ago,and 172,749 km as at this moment ....very strong and good ...it has a power steering oil leakage since last year but 4months ago I met my mechanic and has fix it ,now the oil is still at the top and I don't use to refill every week as I always did before. The only problem I have now is some strange noise from the steering while turning on the local street but perfect and noiseless on main and express roads...have not work on d engine before but have worked on the AC

What solved the power steering issue? Mine leaks every week, av change the hoase twice dis month, the hoase keeps breaking

@siena, I notice some odd things while driving my kia optima 2002 model when I go on 80/90 the car start vibrating presumably the 2 tyres in the front, besides I just got the tyres, and it wasn't like that since not untill yesterday, also when I proceed to 100/120 the car starts tilting or suarving left and right but not much, pls help what shld I do.....

The side that has problem is 195/65/15 the one beside is 205/60/15

I av a lil issue with my car, kia optima 2002, wen its parked the rear tyre behind the driver side is always close to the arch upper its as if the body is leaning on the tyre, just a lil space in btwn the tyre and the arch, and the shock his still strong, my mechanic said its the bushing, we did it its still same, or shld I say even worse, pls what could it be, and the car itself is not bent even on motion

They are not bad cars at all but they alwaysgvgg have issues of poor maintenance by previous owners.

Most of them usually start their lives as company cars and may have also suffered a lot of abuse from drivers and mechanics alike.

Critically check the car extensively for accident damage that was poorly repaired, suspension components for wear, engine and gearbox conditions before you buy.

Although its a small car, the price of parts too can be a bit on the high side.

I bought a brand new kid Rio last year and I will 'categorically tell you' that it is a wonderful brand.

The company has an after-sales support in Nigeria that is superb.

The cars have very simple engine set ups and I have experienced no issues whatsoever.

Washing only the body of ANY car will not cause a failing ignition...maybe the car wash boy or the owner or somebody in that trail is not telling the truth.

I have colleagues using the new kid optima and I can assure you it's a good deal for the money.


If you are buying a kia, get a recent version and u will forever enjoy it
