Bro e go better Sha..Nigeria our country Bomshell84: We should even be thankful that they decided to advertise this time around. NCDMB did recruitment in 2016. My friend who had connection with then Governor of Bayelsa state got it with ease. Then CVs were submitted manually and with recommendations from prominent personalities across the country. |

I'm surprised they decided to call just 2000 Sha...and most times these agencies don't recruit above 10-15% of those called for interview, ontop all the slots flying around.. How many merit go come remain?... |

You got it wrong, The statement was actually clear...minimum of second class upper...(there's nothing like the minimum of upper and lower), that will make the sentence wrong....it's 2'2 or hnd with masters... bukhety: The statement reads:
bachelor's degree with a minimum of second class upper or
Second Class lower or
Hnd upper or
Lower credit with a good masters degree.
From this statement, I guess it's hnd lower credit that needs masters. But I could be wrong. This is what I can deduce from the statement. |

Bros, calm down ..wetin you no know ,you no know.. People dropped screenshots here and in other platforms..there is nothing like "it's glaring" as a proof...you don't expect people that got dropped here to continue expecting mails for the next stage right?, So I wonder how you want them to start chatting now like you... Sanprecious: The evidence is glaring. There’s nobody here who didn’t rewrite or at least given the chance to rewrite. The burden is on proving otherwise. That you were clearly denied a chance to rewrite. Thought that was simple.
But please don’t tell us I have a friend’s brother in sango who was sent a reject message and then you’re showing me a text or a chat on WhatsApp....Lol.
And if you’re asking for another evidence I will show you the screenshot of my invitation to write the test....That’s a singular evidence. Same way I want a singular evidence. Show me the screenshot of you being rejected to continue the process.
Okay I tap out on this abeg. Let’s all believe what we will. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NCDMB 2020 Oil and Gas EH & GT Jobs by Lunex(m): 8:09pm On Feb 10, 2021 |
Nice break down but the second test wasn't a total rewrite Sha...my friend didn't write the second test...that's why I think there's something they used after the first test jasonex4: I am still wondering why we find it difficult to understand that the second test was a rewrite... Point out 1 person that wrote the first test and didn't write the second one...
They didn't make use of the first test scores and so whether you scored 99% or 1% in the first test, it no longer mattered cos everyone was asked to rewrite...
Don't expect that same thing to happen a second time...
A lot of factors would likely come into play going into the next stage 1. Federal character 2. Discipline 3. Scores 4. Recommendations
Let's take a case scenario.
Premise 1: NCDMB needs 10 Engineers and 10 Accountants Premise 2: 20 deltans scored between 70-80 for Engineering, and 15 scored between 70-80 for Accounting Premise 3: 20 people from Bauchi scored between 50-60 for Engineering, and 10 between 45-50 for Accounting (apologies if i used your state, its not an actual representation of the intellectual strength of these states) Premise 4: They need 5 people from each state per discipline
Conclusion: Someone from bauchi who scored 60 might be taken for Engineering leaving behind someone from Delta who scored 75, due to the fact that the last premise must be fulfilled...
Hope this helps
Nor vex say e long sha o...lol |

That's true, if federal character doesn't play out at every stage...then it might not be necessary during the APL stage...imagine placing a cut off mark at 70 and then 60% of the those that progressed are from one or two states... |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NCDMB 2020 Oil and Gas EH & GT Jobs by Lunex(m): 8:32pm On Feb 09, 2021 |
Lol.. But remember the number of people that scored 70+ in the first test alone are 5000+ For the second test, that number is for people with 50 above...but it's way easier for NCDMB to work with the 2nd test...don't you think so? jasonex4: Testmi: 5000 people scored well in the test, let's redo it...
After the second test, Testmi: 5000 people scored well in this second test, lets take it like that...
If this is true, then the whole thing nor make sense |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NCDMB 2020 Oil and Gas EH & GT Jobs by Lunex(m): 8:11pm On Feb 09, 2021 |
The issue of employing 100, cut of mark 40,50,70 etc...all are speculations... The next mail will surely be the real deal yusufnussy: Won’t it make more sense that the cut off mark would be 70%. For the fact that they are only employing 100 people and if 1,500 people scored 70% then that’s enough amount to pick 100 from. Instead of going back and forth, giving people unexpected hope and wasting time.
They should send the interview mail and get it over with cos It’s getting exhausting. Just viewing comments here shows how a lot of people are experiencing anxiety issues due to this recruitment.
The annoying aspect is, out of this 100 they are recruiting, they already have slots fixed. So how many would be left for merit based ? 20 or 10? Who knows!
So why waste time when they already know what they are doing. Anyways I wish everyone the best of luck! |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NCDMB 2020 Oil and Gas EH & GT Jobs by Lunex(m): 8:01pm On Feb 09, 2021 |
This would have been great tho, but I think they only sent scores for this second test...although the first test score is already with ncdmb before the second test ... So it will be ncdmb's decision to use this method which is almost not possible...but let's wait and see Sha... Na source from the tower we dey wait for... Ayodele09: In view of this cut off issue, some people who scored high score in the first test had a poor score in the second test 7,000+ now going to 1500+ and some who had a poor score in the first test were able to score high in the second test, testmi can just work with their data base and make an average of the two score. with this it will be able to juxtapose a fair score and make a fair cut off mark even if is still 40%. |

Well, speaking about the decision of moving straight to interview maybe as a result of some info I got from a worker at testmi... People that scored above 70+ in the first test were above 5,000 I think. .he didn't give the exact number tho... But for the 2nd test, not more than 1200 people scored that high... About 1500 people scored 60-70, and more than 2000 scored 50-60...
That's the little I know... So going with 40% cut off "might" be real owing to the fact that close to 5000 people scored above 50( from estimation ooo) that's already a good amount for an interview phase tho
I'm not saying the interview info by Oracle is true..because person source fit no totally dey correct .even my source sef own fit get lapses... But Nothing wey God no fit do, I'm sure they're still deliberating on the cut off Sha....until we see mails before we know the real deal... Peace bro/sis |
