oluwaleokey: I no understand what's going on here, una write big big English grammar and vocabularies take confuse man pikin... wetin happen eh? No be survival all of us dey again?
To be honest, i hate it with passion when some set of people feels that they deserve the good life more than any group or category. Just because you feel you are more opportune than others perhaps an excellent academician or from a rich background hence you are entitled to good life by default.
What's your definition of riff raffs? In this case every immigrant is a riff raff irrespective of the avenue or type of visa you migrated with. You bagged first class with 100% scholarship does not and will never translate to entitlement for a good life in another man's country infact to be fair, excellent and outstanding scholars are the most needed back home, you have no reason to migrate in the first place. You should be at the front lines utilising your expertise in the country and not the other way round. Riff raff indeed?
Like one claimed, if truly the COS immigrants or the poorly assessed MSc student immigrants are tagged riff raff then we all are riff raff in another man's country and this includes if it was your 3rd generational parents that migrated abroad, it simply means they, including you are products of "riff raff-lisation" We can only say there are different levels of riff raffs
I hate it when people write out of jealousy or hatred, not out of concern... Some of the oldies are questioning why are visas being given out at this rate? Coz only you wants to be called ndi obodo oyibo maybe the average family member would contest with you financially or will no longer depend on you as the mini god perhaps would find out that you are also surviving in the system, reason you want the riff raffs to remian back home? Dey play that you had first sight or were opportuned doesn't not make others stupid. I can tell you for free that whoever that completely paid for his/her MSc studies just to migrate with his dependants should be classified above average citizens if you understand the financial obligation. People in their millions cannot afford it or will kill to have the same opportunity. (Person way get degree, get money to pay join don turn riff raff - nothing way Musa no go hear for gate) Do you know the population of illiterate, poor and unemployed people back home? Do you know the figures?
This not to say there are no bad elements that are painting our images bad besides it is not only NIUK, riff raffs has always been in existence from time immemorial, by this i mean, our focus should be on a crime free activities not challenging the process of which ones visa was granted. Is it your country? Are you wiser than them? If you are, then fix your home country.
They needed help, created an opportunity, people who could afford it, jumped on it and they have been working tireletirelessly, contributing to the growth of the economy, paying taxes etc Can you fill those spaces? You don't want them abi you blaming the system for allowing them. God bless every hardworking immigrants anywhere in the world YOU ARE NOT FOOLISH SIR! YOU ARE NOT A RIFF RAFF SIR!
Please stay out of crime and make us proud by representing us well...
To add to your brilliant and succinct points, most of the COS frauds were committed by these earlier generations milking the so called Riff Raffs of hundreds of thousands of pounds. It's convenient for them to come back and attack these victims who are now desperate for survival with no hope. What he's doing is pure classism at worst
Please my people, can I travel to the UK with Nigerian passport close to expiration (less than 6 months). BA says it's no problem but I should confirm from the embassy. I don't know if our Nigerians in the BA check in desk will not be overzealous and allow it fly
advanceDNA: Just curious....Did he or she fvck up??
Our first born just sent his kid to Nigeria too...the 13 year old werey did things my adult mind can't even imagine on a very very wild day...
Not really it's precautionary and I also see that she's not being challenged enough here which is making her regress. There's so much potentials I have seen from way back while we were in Naija which this system is suppressing.
So what happened to your Nephew or Niece that made your brother sent him/her home?
Zahra29: Hi, dependant children are not subject to limits on any absences from the UK I.e your daughter is exempt from the 180 day absence rule and it shouldn't affect her ILR eligibility as long as she meets other relevant requirements such as parental eligibility etc.
Thank you Zahra29 has always. Please can you direct me to a document that provides this clarification. I really appreciate your assistance
My child is back in Nigeria to finish secondary school, she's going to be out of the UK for more than 180days. I understand ILR eligibility requires 180 days presence out of 365 days, Will my daughter be impacted if I apply for ILR next year for the entire family? She would have been back before the ILR application. @Zahra, Justwise, others
Our Elders say "Pikin wey boast say e go dey chop pigeon head when he grow up should know say na that Pigeon no go ever make am grow". Nigel you don fail.
Cyberknight: I'll second that. Apart from the general govt confidence in the resource-related inequality of arms in its favour in litigation (in particular by exhausting all avenues and its litigants by taking cases all the way to higher instances where litigants cant afford to follow), two departments that rarely shy away from going to court are the Home Office and the DWP. Specifically because their opponents in court are usually people for whom the public is likely to have little or no sympathy (benefits claimants and migrants).
Why is Pastor Tobi beating Home Office at their game? He has been illegal in the country since 2005 or so
I see and hear Reform UK is gaining in the polls ahead of other parties. Can someone explain the what this poll rating mean in simple terms. Reform has just 4 MPs in a 600 member-parliament; how does that make Farage a potential Prime Minister? @Zahra, anyone?
My broadband contract (with Virgin media) is ending in few days. Can someone recommend a broadband with good deals. I don't understand what Virgin media is saying regarding renewal of contract because how can I move from £22 to £57.
I want to try "Self Transfer" Pegasus for my trip to Qatar. I will like to know if there are Cons perhaps from anyone who's had experience directly or i directly. @Legxus , Justwise and others
vickyuche: My husband is filling this form for our kids and came across this question. I don't get the question. Is it how he(my husband) is related to me or how the applicant is related to me. Those who hv applied for their child dependants. What is the likely answer to this question?
Were you able to complete this section now, i need your guide in filling mine, same as that Partner section you enquired about earlier

Someone here (Luxurylife) is planning a road trip in the next few weeks and since i am interested in visiting Cape Verde, i am tempted to join that trip. I however want to seek your opinion on that kind of Road Trip to far away Cape Verde. Do you think its a good idea considering the distance, safety/security of Land travels. Your honest opinion will help in taking a decision

Now Precious have joined the list of women FFK will bash in his next article. Another woman is also waiting to be his subject of continuous abuse because of the Bankrolled Money he made.
Hi Gazzuzz, I got a Rav 4 2003, tokunbo last week, but observed that the door opening indicator on the dashboard is permanently on even when all the doors and boots are shut. please what could be the problem and how can it be remedied. hope this isn't going to affect the battery.
GAZZUZZ: the car is in the Usa so it is left from factory.
On further probe from the VIN number I noticed the car was bought as a salvaged car and repaired here. the picture (as was bought) is here. My question now is do you advise I go ahead with d buy. I noticed you once advertised a CRV bought in this way and fixed here in Naija.
