Nairaland GeneralFemi Fani Kayode, Kemi Olunloyo Exposed As Pathetic Liars On Nairaland by lurge(op): 1:20pm On Nov 28, 2013

Femi Fani Kayode, the erstwhile minister of Aviation, currently on trial for syphoning N19 billion during his 6 month tenure, has been exposed as Bianca Ojukwu’s internet troll on Nairaland!
Last week, following an attack on Tiwa Savage by controversial internet blogger Kemi Omololu, a group of Kemi Olunloyo’s former classmates posted an article on Nairaland, titled ‘Is Kemi Omololu Olunloyo Nigeria’s worst liar?’
As usual, Nigerians jumped in to comment on the article which exposed the fact that contrary to the impression given by Kemi Olunloyo that she grew up in the UK and had spent her teenage years in the UK, she had in fact grown up in Ibadan and spent only 1 year in the UK in from 1981-82 at age 19 and left without any ‘meaningful’ qualifications.

The poster of the article also claimed that Kemi doctored her age and that she had been a promiscuous student, aborting a pregnancy in Class 4, and before and after her WAEC, leading to kemi finishing Secondary school at age 18 when others finished at 15 or 16 years old.
The posters of the article also described Kemi as arriving in the UK without knowledge of deodorant and described her as a ‘smelly outcast’ avoided by both Nigerians and British students.

They also debunked Kemi’s claim that she was friends with former Governor Saraki, Lanre Tejuosho, Segun Cole, Agu Irukwu and Toyin Ojora. At the point of Kemi’s sojourn in the UK, her father had not become governor and she was a non-entity who had clearly wanted to belong but who was a social misfit.
In a bizzare twist, two particular commentators known as T8KSY and T9KSY suddenly hijacked the commentary which had focused entirely on Kemi Olunloyo and diverted it to Femi Fani Kayode, even leading to protests from other commentators that the topic had digressed from Kemi Olunloyo’s deception to Fani Kayode.

AT some point, a poster called Infotekniks2, possibly a security company, identified T8KSY and T9KSY as Femi Fani Kayode, stating that Fani Kayode had used the ID to post severally and had claimed the ID as his own on his facebook page.

With this revelation came a torrent of comments calling out Fani Kayode. A cursory inspection of the posts of T8KSY and T9KSY on Google showed that they had over 64 pages of posts which reveal a flood of abusing crude comments, mostly directed against Igbo people. His verbal diatribe against Igbos was particularly vicious, at one point claiming that post 2015, no Igbos will live in his territory. In 2011, just before Ojukwu died, he referred to him as ‘a monkey look-alike’ called Bianca names and called Zik ‘a washed out ugly harlot’ and 4 days after Ojukwu’s death, posted a long foul mouthed diatribe against Ojukwu and Bianca. He also posted a host of uncomplimentary comments about President Jonathan and his wife Patience. His virulent attacks on Stella Oduah are well documented in these posts; and the common denominator of all his attacks on both male and female personalities is a sick obsession with accusing them of unprintable sexual perversions.

Unfortunately, T8KSY is directly traceable to Fani Kayode and the focus of T8KSY on Bianca became obsessive considering that the article was directed against Kemi Olunloyo and her recent attack on Tiwa Savage.
In a bizzare claim, T8KSY claimed that Fani Kayode knew Bianca in Cambridge in 1985 and he was immediately called out by a poster called ‘Vikingman’ who claimed to have been at the Law School with Fani Kayode in 1985. Indeed, Law School records prove beyond doubt that Fani Kayode was at the Nigerian Law School throughout 1985 and certainly could not have been in the UK where Bianca was at that point.

From the above, it means that (A): Kemi Olunloyo was in the UK for only 1 year and left for the USA in 1982 when neither her father nor Bianca’s father were yet governors.
B: Onoh, Bianca’s father, became governor in 1983;
C: Fani Kayode was in Cambridge for only 1 year (1983-1984) and left the UK for Nigeria in 1984;
D: Fani Kayode was in Law School, Lagos throughout 1985;
E: It then follows that Fani Kayode could not have been in the UK with Bianca in 1985;
F: Kemi Omololu could not have been a witness to the claimed romance since she was in America at that material time and Fani Kayode was in Lagos at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos unless both of them were spirits!
G: Logically then, all Kemi Olunloyo said was pure fabrication as stated by her class-mates! Logically also, Fani Kayode could only have been hallucinating of a relationship with someone at a time and place that could not be!
It is then quite clear that Fani Kayode and Kemi Olunloyo appear to be in some sort of unholy alliance.

Our efforts to reach the names mentioned was partially successful as one of them, speaking on condition of anonymity, told us that Kemi was delusional and that he did not know her in London and he doubted if the others mentioned had anything to do with Kemi either. Kemi’s mythical ‘London crowd’ was also jeered at as a figment of her overactive imagination.

The source told us that the different ages of those mentioned by Kemi precludes their academic paths crossing and he was particularly amused by the thought of someone being in a class with another person 7 years their junior, going by the claims of the different parties involved. He pointed out that by the time an 11 year old is in secondary school, a 4 year old is still in nursery! Likewise, a 25 years old postgraduate student would be seriously deranged to be claiming to be at school with a 17 year old student. He told us to go and do our maths and use our intelligence!

The most shocking revelation was that since the registration of T8KSY and T9KSY in 2010, he had been posting abusive messages about Bianca, making it a point of duty to follow any topic with her name and posting very vicious, dirty comments which exposed him as extremely disturbed and full of hate.

It is indeed a shame that a former Minister of Nigeria, even without a job, should spend his entire time on the internet following the life of one woman who he abused for 3 consecutive years on the internet before suddenly claiming that he’d had a relationship with her. Unfortunately for him, he himself also proved himself a liar by his hound-dog focus on Bianca on an article about Kemi Olunloyo and exposing himself as a pure liar.

The friends of Tiwa Savage seem to have achieved more than they ever aimed for and opened a big can of worms and would appear to have unwittingly exposed the fact that both Kemi Olunloyo and Femi Fani Kayode seem to be involved in some kind of vendetta against Bianca.

While Nigeria is reputed as one of the poorest countries in the world, it is no lie that a few of its highly privileged citizens are among some of the richest in the world. These few can afford to buy whatever luxurious possession no matter how expensive. From private jets, exclusive islands, exotic wines and champagnes, limited edition gold plated or diamond encrusted gadgets and customized cars, whatever you it is you can think of, a Nigerian has got it.

And it doesn’t matter who they are… politicians, billionaire business moguls, former army general, pastor, musician or a high class babe, these Nigerians always flaunt their possessions.

Recently, Senator Ali Sherriff , the Atlanta Georgia based former Borno State Governor and chairman Board of Trustees of the newly formed All Progressives Congress, (APC) toppled Bishop David Oyedepo as the owner of the largest fleet of private jets in Nigeria with the acquisition of a new Gulfstream G650 model jet valued at N11.5 billion which is the most expensive private jet owned in Nigeria.

Experts describe the plane as arguably the fastest civilian jet in the world. With room for a basketball team, 8,000-statute-mile range and some of the most sophisticated avionics. It can be equipped with a full kitchen and bar and may be equipped with a variety of entertainment features including satellite phones and wireless Internet.
The jet use two Rolls Royce BR725 engines, each producing a maximum thrust of 17,000 pounds-force (75.6 kN). Gulfstream states that with a weight of less than 100,000 pounds (45,360 kg), it is able to land at small airports avoiding the busy airports around the world.
Check out the list of top 10 private jet owners in Nigeria and their fleet:

Music/RadioRe: How Don Jazzy's Twitter Rants Exposed His Business Foolishness And Selfishness by lurge(m): 11:33pm On Nov 07, 2013
pro01: I'd have to admit that Don Jazzy goofed on this one, big time. Even if he eventually 'wins' by proving that Wande Coal 'stole' that song, it would be a mere pyrrhic victory in the end. He has much more at stake than whatever minor financial gain the so-called song can offer. This is not about who is right or wrong. It is about priceless public perception and the bigger picture.

As Otipoju rightly noted, Don Jazzy flouted many important laws of power. I think two of the most important laws he flouted are Law 5: "So much depends on your reputation - guard it with your life", and Law 9: "Win through your actions, never through argument".

Dude has a reputation for humility in spite of his 'larger than life' persona. By hounding and threatening a small fry like Wande Coal over an inconsequential song, he risks being perceived as an arrogant and greedy bully. Furthermore, his subsequent tweets after Wande Coal's response made him seem petty, bitter, and desperate - three utterly anti-seductive traits. . . .

Dude needs to read more Robert Greene to help him stay in check. My 2 cents.
Chai. Robert Greene don finish u ooo. I expected you to say something on the art of war too if u know what I mean.
PoliticsWho In Your Opinion Is Fit To Rule Nigeria? by lurge(op): 11:24am On Oct 31, 2013
Since I became aware of the political situation in Nigeria, never has there been a time when the country has seen a good leader.
Ethnicity, corruption, religion and sentiments seem to mar the reputation of every person who ruled this country.
The citizens keep complaining and it seems once you've become a politician (doesn't matter the party) or whether you were a former general or military administrator, your reputation has already been soiled because of the kind of people you associate with in the political system. That is why I don't trust whoever they bring to rule this country whether they had shoes or not or the person was once a military leader with integrity in quote.
The only person who could have tried though I never really trusted him initially was the late Umar Yar'Adua whose tenure we can't say much about(although I may be wrong).
What Nigeria needs is a new crop of young, vibrant, intelligent and educated people as leaders. People with high integrity who will not let ethnicity, religion or sentiments hinder them from bringing good governance and development into every sector of this country.
Given the level of fake promises and disappointments we've all experienced, how do we even recognise such a fellow if they come out to rule this country because personally, I'll never trust those in the old crop no matter who. Who in your opinion fits the description of such a desired Nigerian leader? And how do we recognise them? You can just suggest their names and give your reasons.

PoliticsNigeria In The Eyes Of A Briton by lurge(op): 5:47pm On Sep 15, 2013
British journalist, David Hayward, who visited Nigeria, captures his impressions about the country.
https://dvsl3w2q45hb8.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/DavidHayward-300x203.jpg
Earlier this year, I was approached to do some media consultancy in Nigeria. I’d just left the BBC after 18 years, to set up my own business, so this seemed a great opportunity. I spoke to a number of friends and former colleagues. I’d heard many stories about Nigeria, seen the reports on Boko Haram and had my own impressions of sub Saharan Africa.

The advice fell into two camps:

a) Don’t go, you’ll get kidnapped or catch malaria. Either way, you’re going to die

b) Nigeria is a nightmare. When you arrive, you’ll be swamped by hustlers trying to rip you off, steal your luggage and all your money. If they don’t get you, the corrupt police officers and officials will.

I was mainly to be based in Asaba, the capital of the Delta State, one of, if not the biggest, oil producing states is Nigeria. In an attempt to be a bit more thorough with my research than asking a few old mates, I contacted the office of BBC Media Action in Abuja.

The fairly pragmatic response was: “We treat the Delta State as a hostile environment. It’s an oil producing area and there is a strong risk of kidnapping. However if you have armed security, this risk will be slightly reduced”. I took this to be reassuring and made sure an armed security clause was written into my contract. I spent some time talking to my wife Jo and children about the prospect of going to Nigeria.
*David Hayward

*David Hayward

Jo’s attitude was: “For God’s sake, this is exactly what you love doing. The more dangerous a place the better the stories. You’ll be able to show off and bore people senseless about roadblocks, men with guns and how brave you are”. Buoyed by this I accepted the work and prepared for Asaba. I got my visa, all the vaccinations I could fit into my arm and made sure I had a small mountain of malaria tablets.

I really didn’t know what to expect from Nigeria. It’s easy to fall into preconceptions that Africa is all about war, famine, corruption and poachers killing endangered animals.

I caught the overnight BA fli1around the site to cater for a mass of cargo. About ten minutes drive away, just across the Niger Bridge, is the city of Onitsha. One of the busiest markets in Africa. You can buy almost anything there.

I was to travel in and out of the airport several times in the next five weeks. Each time something new was completed. The baggage carousel, lacking when we first flew in, was fully operational the next time. So were the check-in areas and the very plush departures hall.

The next morning was the first venture out. Yinka and I decided to go for a bit of a run. It seemed sensible to set off early because of the heat and to avoid the risk of being kidnapped or shot at. So at 6am we were off. About a minute into the jog we approached a group of somewhat hard looking men with very big guns. They were guarding the gates to our compound. This is not a sight I’m used to on my normal runs in rural Leicestershire, in the UK.

Anxious to appear as inconspicuous as possible I tried to sneak past, not drawing too much attention to myself, convinced I was about to be arrested. However quite the opposite. We were greeted with cheers of “Good morning sir, well done, how far?”.

Once I had composed myself from the shock, very nearly tripping over in a sweaty heap, we continued our circuits. Every time we passed someone we had the same greeting. It began to feel as though we had our own troupe of heavily armed cheerleaders. (Or should that be troop?)

This was quite an introduction to what, I began to realize, was one of the most friendly countries I have been to. This is a genuine friendliness. It is not a means to get to know you and rip you off.

The following few weeks continued to surprise me – and to make me feel very embarrassed about my initial preconceptions. I’ve been lucky enough to visit a whole range of places in the Delta State. The TV and radio stations need some work, but the staff are young, enthusiastic and very hard working. Warri, the oil centre, is a thriving hub that is only going to get bigger, with the construction of the largest business park in West Africa. The sign at our hotel was a bit disconcerting. It asked everyone carrying guns to make sure they weren’t loaded – which was nice.

The University Teaching Hospital in Oghara is as well equipped as any I have been to in the UK or the rest of Europe. There are state of the art CT and MRI scanners, a world class renal unit and 25 paediatric intensive care beds.

The journey to the hospital gave me the first opportunity to see a proper Nigerian village. This was far closer to what I had been expecting. The goats and cattle roaming the dusty roads, the food stalls cooking chicken, fish and corn over open fires. Dozens of bars with dodgy looking satellites, advertising the latest football matches live. When we slowed down, or stopped the car we were surrounded by two groups. The children pointing at me were shouting Oyibo, Oyibo (white man) and teenagers trying to sell anything from palm wine to cola nuts, to the latest mobile phones.

Now I can’t be sure, but I don’t think the iphone 5 I was offered for 5000 naira (about £20) was as genuine as it could be. All of this was done with great fun and humour. If you chose to, you could buy everything you needed from your car. If you didn’t, that was fine too.

Suicidal Okada

The transport system is far from perfect but all the roads we’ve driven on are absolutely fine. The most interesting experience was seeing the suicidal Okada motorcycle taxis in full force for the first time. They have been banned in Delta State and replaced by three-wheel kekes. But this is certainly not the case in Onitsha. It is about a fifteen-minute journey from the centre of Asaba, but it could be on another planet.

You drive over the Niger Bridge, enter the neighbouring state and a different world. One where thousands of the small machines ferry people and any goods you can think of around. We saw one driver with four passengers, two adults and two children precariously balanced in front and behind him. Oil barrels containing God knows what, weighing heavily on the clearly inadequate suspension. I was told someone had seen an Okada carrying a donkey, strapped to the driver as though he was giving it a piggy back. I don’t know if I believe this, but, from what I saw in Onitsha that day, I can’t rule it out.

The drivers are quite mad. We were there for about a minute before our car had its first near miss. We were to have many more in the next half an hour, with the rules of the road, like driving in the same direction on a dual carriageway, simply ignored.

The noise is deafening. As the Okadas rev their tiny engines, they sound like a swarm of very loud insects buzzing inside your head. You very soon begin to choke on the fumes of burning oil and petrol. It was quite a relief to cross back over the bridge into the far more serene and calm home ground of Asaba. The welcome I have had everywhere is stunning. On one occasion I interviewed a senior state commissioner. It turned out it was his birthday. He kindly invited me to his party that evening. I didn’t really know anyone else going – so felt a little uncomfortable. No need. When I arrived he insisted I sit with him.

He made sure my glass was never empty and my plate constantly filled. I was introduced to everyone and made to feel an honored guest.

There was a downside to this. The comedian who anchored the programme took quite a shine to me….. “Ahhh give it up for the white man, where are you from”?

This was followed by ten minutes of him royally taking the **** out of me. I understood about one word in ten, but by the reaction of everyone else, it was obviously very amusing. So much for being inconspicuous.

Premier League

But the worst was still to come. People began standing up and paying tribute to the Commissioner. He is a very popular guy. Halfway through the speeches the comedian spotted me once again. “Does the white man want to speak”. I stood, said a few words and wished he would see his children’s children and his children’s children’s children. This appeared to be the toast de jour and went down very well. The evening ended with lots of photographs being taken and many new good friends.

The one thing you cannot escape in Nigeria is the love of the English Premier League. I have so far failed to meet another Leicester City fan, an obvious shame, but there are millions of diehard Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea supporters.

Watching the Liverpool v Man Utd game at the Asaba viewing centre, with thousands of people wearing the respective replica kits, was one hell of an experience, although my eardrums may take some time to recover. There is no doubting their passion. They may not have been to Old Trafford, The Emirates or Stamford Bridge, but the passion they exuded was clear. I’m not sure what ‘come on ref,’ or ‘what was that you idiot’ is in pidgin, but I heard it several times that day.

The viewing centre was created by the governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan. He is an Arsenal supporter. I met him once while playing tennis. For some reason he didn’t seem very impressed by my love of Leicester City. I simply don’t understand why.

TV/MoviesEFCC May Arrest Stephanie Okereke, Others Over Akpabio's 50M Largese by lurge(op): 8:13pm On Sep 01, 2013

A 50 Million Naira donation by Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state to support the Nigerian movie industry is what could lead to the arrest of actress Stephanie Okereke, Zik Zulu Okafor, the National President of the Association of Movie Producers, AMP, Andy Amenechi; the National President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria, DGN, and the Secretary General of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Yakubu Abubakar.
The above listed individuals have been accused by the Association of Nollywood Core Producers,ANCOP, who have directed the EFCC and special fraud unit SFU to investigate them for obtaining and disbursing the given sum without proper consultations with Nollywood’s stakeholders.

Excerpt from the letter reads: “On June 15, 2013, news broke out that some Nollywood stakeholders under the auspices of a non-existent ‘Guild of Nollywood Stars’ visited Governor Akpabio in his office in Uyo for the purpose of collecting the N50 million pledge to Nollywood.

“The Governor presented to the visitors a prototype post-dated (25-06- 2013) Zenith bank cheque number 00063639 with Akwa Ibom State Government as the account name, issued in favour of Guild of Nollywood Stars. “We also gathered that the Governor, in his usual generosity, gave each of the visitors N500, 000 cash. “Expectedly, the massive publicity given to the entire episode by the press generated heated debates. In fact, it polarised the industry till today.

“We are demanding that you immediately commence a full-blown investigation into the alleged fraudulent act over the N50 million Governor Akpabio gave to Nollywood to carry out a specific task but now domiciled in the account of one of the the over 30 associations and guilds in Nollywood…Sir, anything short of this is an invitation to anarchy in Nollywood.”

Foreign AffairsGeorge Bush Falsefully Announces Nelson Mandela's Death by lurge(op): 7:50pm On Sep 01, 2013
https://www.naijawhistle.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/bush-mandela.jpg
The health and well being of former South African president Nelson Mandela has been the topic of discussion for a long time now with various media houses falsely announcing and retracting his death.

Joining this group of rumour mongers is former U.S president George Bush. A statement from the Bush office released Sunday September 1st, reads:
“Barbara and I mourn the passing of one of the greatest believers in freedom we have had the privilege to know. As President, I watched in wonder as Nelson Mandela had the remarkable capacity to forgive his jailers following 26 years of wrongful imprisonment — setting a powerful example of redemption and grace for us all. He was a man of tremendous moral courage, who changed the course of history in his country. Barbara and I had great respect for President Mandela, and send our condolences to his family and countrymen.”

However, the South African presidential spokesman Mac Maharaj rejected the statement saying:“It is clearly incorrect. We see it as an error on his side,” and aren’t making a big deal about it. They say Nelson Mandela was earlier discharged from a hospital and driven in an ambulance to his Johannesburg home where he is under intensive care by medical experts.

George Bush’s spokesman Jim McGrath later apologized with a tweet saying:“The 41 statement sent this morning was the result of my mis-reading the header on the WaPo news flash. Stupid mistake by me. Apologies to all”.

In my opinion, most of them expect Nelson Mandela’s anytime soon and want to be the first to make a statement about it so they’ll be seen as really sensitive.
They’ve already prepared the speech and carelessly release it before time due to over eagerness. Its all a game of mass seduction but for the media and the politicians.

Health3 Foods That Help With Weight Loss by lurge(op): 2:47pm On Aug 26, 2013
The aim of this article is to tell you 3 Foods That Help With Weight Loss. The best way to achieve a perfectly slim body or loose weight is eating right. What I mean is drinking lots of water and minding what we consume. Without much story eat more of the following foods:
1 Lean meats: Lamb and chicken are good examples of lean meats. Fishes and salmon are also good meat replacers. They both contain less fats and cholesterol and much protein. The protein helps you build lean muscles which burns fat by increasing the metabolic weight of your system. Red meat should be avoided totally.

2. Olive oil: Avoid fries totally but if you have to fry anything, then use olive oil. This contains no saturated fat (bad fat)and little unsaturated fat. Olive oil suppresses hunger and lowers cholesterol levels.

3. Berries: Be it blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, etc. all berries help with weight loss by suppressing hunger pangs. Besides, they taste good too. Nuts, oatmeals and almonds are also weightloss super foods with huge beneits.

CelebritiesKanye West Replies Another Obama Diss by lurge(op): 8:11am On Aug 24, 2013
https://www.naijawhistle.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/obama-kanye-west.jpg
Kanye West did not only reveal a photo of his daughter North West, he also used the Kris Jenner show to reply President Obama‘s latest jab at him and Kim Kardashian.
Seems Obama does not have a liking For Kanye West as he has twice called the rapper a jackass which of course got him a response from Yeezy.
Most recently while on an interview with David Blum for Kindle singles, Obama had once again said celebrities like Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were responsible for the present wrong values in the American dream. In his words, “Kids weren’t monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success.”

And so when Kris Jenner threw a bait at Kanye on the issue, Yeezy took it hook, line and sinker and replied Obama saying:
"So Obama basically said we’re the new American dream. I think he was posing it like I was supposed to take it in a negative way, but I’m just so happy that the president mentions me so often. Thank you very much, Obama! I do think people should want to go on vacation or travel, because that’s what opens people’s minds. When I was in 5th grade, we went to China and I lived there for a year and I could speak Chinese… Also because my dad lived in an area that was mostly white and my mom stayed in Chicago in an area that’s mostly black and has gang activity, I had to navigate all these worlds. That scope is what I brought into my creations, to the music I make, to the clothing I make. When I design a shoe with Nike, that’s mentality is what I brought. So as Obama is talking about that, yes, they’re looking at what she’s wearing and where we’re going for vacation because this is the way we relate to this new information age. There will be new people getting passports and wanting to travel. They’ll hear songs like “N—-s in Paris” and they’ll be like, “I want to be a n—a in Paris!"
Guess we’ll be hearing an Obama diss track from Kanye West soon.

OPC.NAIRALAND:
So can we say every Christian in America who ever took his/her life did so because of Christianity faith?

Any jew who commited suicide did so because of Judaism?

Muslims that commit suicide died because of Islam?

If CNN reported an adherent of Yoruba Orisa committing suicide because of his "Yoruba religion", it goes to show that mainstream American media is not immuned from sheer ignorance and religious intolerance.
It was E! the entertainment channel. However BBC most guilty of potraying Nigeria in a bad light.

**justsaying
That's true. Anybody can edit wikipedia. I hear Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed are one of the most edited topics over there.
