As might already be known by many, I am a hardcore Buharist even though I have refused to be partisan. I voted him all the time he contested even in 2011 when PDP thugs used hammer to smash my finger in Port Harcourt.

I am impressed with his performance thus far but what has got me worried is the rate at which everyone is trying to make Jonathan a scapegoat for what was collectively done by all just because he lost power. This is not the 1st time it has happened in Nigeria. It is the 3rd time in all and 2nd time for individual.

The 1st was the Biafran war used as excuse to nullify the corruption and impunity which lead to the resultant miscalculated coup.

The 2nd was Sani Abacha's death after which all the bad leadership from 1970 to 1998 was heaped on him.

Finally now that Jonathan is out, there is a renewed attempt to heap all the bad leadership from 1999 to 2015 solely on him.

Don't get me wrong I dislike his actions and inactions which affected me negatively especially in Rivers and Imo States but for former aids and appointees to turn around and claim saints is utter wickedness.

I blame his people. I blame Osun people. I don't blame Aregbesola at all. Infact, Aregbesola, go ahead, dont pay a dime to them, embezzle their money and the profit together.

Next time, Osun people will not vote with sentiments. Knowing fully well that Aregesola is a thief going by his antecedents, they still voted him because of Tinubu's Amala and Rice. Next time, if Osun people see amala during campaign, they will run.
