Literature / Nana's Chronicles part 1 [18+] by LussoAutos: 9:06pm On Nov 29, 2021
Synopsis: 18+ only

Nana's Chronicles is a short series based on the main character Nana and the tragedy that becomes her life when bad choices cloud her formerly happy existence.....Part 1 is posted below: if you like it you can look forward to the next episode. thanks...

Nana, always wondered why everyone looked at her differently. She never felt insecure or have any of the stereotypical quirks that made society look at women differently. She wasn’t ugly, at least she didn’t think so. She had a tidy little business that didn’t pay for everything but at least contributed to her household's bottom line monthly. She had 3 kids and a husband who was most supportive of her endeavors. She felt blessed. Most times she felt it was all too good to be true. Which was why she wondered why people looked at her differently. She lived a seemingly ordinary life. There was nothing special about her or her looks, or so she thought anyway.
What was it about Nana then that made her stand out?!
Some years back, after the birth of her third kid, Nana suffered a breakdown. It was all too much. She could not admit it to herself or her family the immense pressure she was going through, trying to hide the emotions, and going through the motions. She was not coping, but she soldiered on. Her thought? that if she could just fake it, no one would notice. It didn’t last. Before long, she was a shadow of her former self. She wasn’t eating properly, she was short all the time with her other kids and her partner, and as for her friends, well they were the reason Nana tried to keep it together. She felt she had burdened them so much already they didn’t deserve to be ‘dealing’ with her and her issues again. So every time she got the chance to speak to them, she put up a front. None of them really knew she was dying a little bit every day.
It was a Sunday afternoon, with her anxiety still acting up, she decided to take a walk. Clear her head, get some fresh air. “the fresh air will do me good” she thought. She stopped at a Java coffee stand, ordered a cup, and there he was.
He was a tall specimen of a man. Dark skinned, hazel eyes, a beard that shone in the afternoon light, no doubt groomed to perfection, nails were well-manicured and he had an impressive bald head. (Not like some of the ones you see where the shape of the head just screams “I shouldn't be bald”) Anyway, on a regular day, Nana probably would not have taken any notice. But today, today was different. She needed more than caffeine ‘pick me’ up to recover from the stresses she was logging around with her like excess cargo.
However, she decided not to speak and waited to see if she still ‘had it. She strolled off to the side of the road and playfully tantalized the edges of her cup with her forefinger occasionally looking up to see if the man she now calls ‘Black Diamond’ will even notice. He did! He walked over to where she was standing casually and said hello. Nana froze inside but outside she was confident but broken. She figured I could play this two ways, I could either run or flee the temptation that is BD, or do myself a favor and bet on me. “hi” Nana said in between sips. “I'm Nana”, “Nana” he repeated with a casual nod, “you’re not from here are you?” he replied, “why do you think that?” Nana quipped back. Her mind, going about a hundred miles per hour. Thinking to herself, I should be back home by now, or I wonder if the kids need me or if I’ve been gone too long, thoughts raced for what seemed like an eternity but really was only about five seconds. BD repeated his initial statement, “you're not from around here are you?” “oh, I’m sorry, I must’ve drifted, er no, I’m not how do you know?” Nana quickly asked. “well your name for starters, and your accent, let me guess You’re African aren’t you?” Nana laughed. It wasn't like it was funny what he said but the combination of nerves and what her inner mind was whispering to her ‘yoni’ made her chuckle. “Did I say something funny?” BD asked with a slightly confused smile. “No, no, I’m sorry, I just thought about something, erm so you were saying, oh yeah, no you’re right, I’m not from around here, and yes I am African, but you do know that's a continent right?” she said with a broad smile. BD laughed out loud. Nana laughed as well. “ yeah I get that a lot, I’m actually Ghanaian”. “well at least I got one thing right though,” BD said back cheekily, “and what's that?” “you were worth it,” he said.
Nana got home panting like she just came in from a run. Flustered and giddy like a schoolgirl. If anything was different, it was that she certainly was in a much better mood than she was when she left home initially. Her mind raced at the memory of her encounter with BD. It was just then that Nana realized she never even asked his ‘government’ name and he never offered it. She felt a little bewildered for a second and then brushed the thought aside. As far as she was concerned, it all added to the thrill of her newfound medication. Lust!

Car Talk / Re: How Can I Repair My Windshield (it Got Crack) by LussoAutos: 12:10am On Apr 28, 2021
Once it's passed a certain level, it can't be quickly fixed again, it will have to be replaced. If it's a digital windscreen then you cannot cut corners at all. Full replacement. A regular windscreen can probably be fixed if the person is a professional auto glass fixer.

Read our article on windshield repair quick fixes at lussoautos.com you might find useful tips to help your situation.
