Hello everyone, I'm new here and I need to ask questions. I was refused visit visa on June 16th and reason was that I was not able to explain sources of funfs that entered my account. I reapplied and addressed that issue and was able to submit on June 22nd. Biometrics was done on July 3rd. Got a mail August 8th stating that they are not able to meet up with the 15days deadline. Got another mail that states that my application isn't straight forward. I sent a mail to their complaints email and kinda summarised my application and also expressed my displeasure in the nicest way I could. Then I got a mail from TLS 2 days after saying that decision has been made.

My questions are;
Is it strange not to get a mail from Sheffield that a decision has been made before TLS sent theirs??

Also I can see on the TLS website that my passport is ready for collection but I haven't gotten an email so can I just go to the centre to collect it??

Lastly is it possible my mail made them respond quickly??

Will appreciate swift responses as my heart is abt to fall out of my chest ( scared of the decision made)

Hi guys. I did biometrics since july 10th and proposed travel was early sept and no feedback yet. I need to cancrl my hotel bookings cus i may be debitee this week for it. Are there any consequences? Just to be sure they dont call to check that a bokin exist

You should also go to the TLS centre you did your biometrics to fill the withdrawal form. Thats what i did. quote author=kinematicguy post=59853391]ddonsly- can you please point me on the stages and processes you used to escalate and withdraw. Especially, the fact that you're now getting your passport within 2 days. I need to get my passport unfailing next week as I have another intending travel urgently.

Note: I did my biometric at TLS since July 10th and Sheffield got it since 19th of July.

Mehn the whole thing is funny. I submitted on 10th July. Up till now, nothing. A colleague who submitted 12 July has since been sorted since last week. Is there a thing with 1st timers

Abeg for visit visa, from personal experience hw long does it take. I don't want to bliv the 6 to 8 weeks on the site

Pls hw much is uk visit visa fee nw. The site says about 118 usd or so and when it's time to pay it shows a total of 193 usd. What could be the additional charge
