I think unilorin's other representative is also online. Can't we go ahead with our own duo or rather post our own argument?

I lost the phone that house my MTN sim to theft, so couldn't get any text.
Whatever Team Unilorin says...

@Neyoor, are you OK with this new development?

Abuklaw:
I would have come online since morning but I am not aware of the 12pm schedule. I know it is flimsy excuse but it is actually the reality. My submission has been typed just waiting till 4pm before coming online since I will be using a public internet connection.
Quite unfortunate.

Team Unilorin wanted you present for this battle and had to wait more than a while since 12pm for you to come online, you can see for yourself when we started.

But did you get the sms from Fynestboi concerning this debate?

@HerexG Sir, get ready to post your question if any.
EducationRe: Nairaland Interschool Debate Semi Finals: Winner:: Unilorin: by luxanne(op): 5:03pm On Mar 28, 2016
Abuklaw:
I didn't plan it this way but God knows best. The only excuse I can give for my late-coming is lack of awareness of schedule. The other time I saw the fixture, I saw normal 6pm and that is what I have been holding onto until I came online few minutes ago. My submission is ready ahead of schedule but I am not abreast of the time.
To my knowledge, the time for this debate has always been 12pm Abuklaw, from whence did you get 6pm?

COMMENTARY

ABU ZARIA

ABU ZARIA, as far as NAIRALAND INTERSCHOOL DEBATE is concerned, is the only team I am so surprised to see come back with what I call "Revenge mission", why? Since the inception of this intellectual exercise, their presence had been dormant, it is either they left at the early stage of the debate or they managed to get to the elimination stage through torns, they are also a consistent team, but why OAU has been the most consistent team, Abu Zaria is the opposite, but ABU ZARIA team for this third edition seems prepared for all hurdles and they happen to be one of the teams that will likely claim the third edition trophy, the funniest thing is THAT none of the old representative is with the present TEAM ABU ZARIA, what we have now are new representatives for ABU ZARIA, looking at their record since the beginning of the third edition, apart from the close victory they encountered from UNIJOS, All of their wins had been with landsliding score. TEAM Abu Zaria, I am happy for the strong comeback, this is just to tell we the organizers that the time of TEAM ABU ZARIA poor performance is over and a new time has begun ... Watch out for them in the semi finals.

UNILORIN

TEAM UNILORIN Preferably is one of the newest TEAMS, not really new but this edition is their first time of getting into the Competition, they joined us in the sophomore edition, but couldn't proceed to the group stage, they were sent packing in the essay submission stage, I believe this added to their vibe, which had been a drive that pushed them to this stage, it is not easy from the first stage to this stage, TEAM UNILORIN is also a potential winner, however they will need to prove to us that they can actualize that potentiality of winning as they compete against the "Revenge mission" of TEAM ABU ZARIA.

Thank you all for making tonight's a success, most especially to Aysuccess99 for contending alone regardless. TBH, it tears me apart whenever this happens, knowing that a debater cannot get into the next stage of the competition not because he/she did not fight gallantly, but because a team mate didn't take this debate as seriously as the other team mate did...the NISD team promises to look into this and find a way around this unfortunate occurences I assure you that.

That said, Fynestboi will have your individual scores collated and posted when he comes online to enable us get the best debater for tonight's debate.

Thank you once again.

The rebuttals can however keep going on.
