I am seriously pained that Samson osagie lost. The error started during the presidential election what happened was that people only wanted to vote pdp for presidency, when they were given three ballot papers thumbprinted pdp in all because they didn't know which ballot paper was for presidency because of poor voter education that was why pdp got that much votes bfor.

Yeah,exactly what happened plus the massive induced rigging PDP carried out to ensure GEJ wins! I'm so pained,Samson Osagie deserved to win. Well,I'll take solace in the fact that PDP is still not on ground in Edo state following the house of assembly election results.

Oshiomhole concentrated his efforts on the House of Assembly poll knowing fully well that a PDP controlled House will truncate his developmental strides as he may get impeached before the end of his tenure.
As for Hon Samson Osagie, he eventually lost out to Pharmacist Urhohide of the PDP. He couldn't muscle enough strength to upturn the about 27,000 deficit votes he had in Orhiomwon Local Government.

Very unfortunate for Hon. Samson Osagie! APC missed it already,the margin was too much and the low turn-out for the re-scheduled Orhionmwon LGA senatorial election dashed its chances of winning the senatorial seat. Edo may likely lose a principal office in the senate,too bad!

If you read and understood my first post on this thread I never said oshomole didn't do well in terms of governance than the previous administration specifically his first tenure. But his second tenure has really brought out the beast in him.

he became the go-and-die governor
he was busy insulting Edo chiefs
he tried to foil every attempt at protesting by the public servants
Up till now, I can't see anything tangible he has done in his second tenure.
Infact, this is the reason, he couldn't deliver Edo state to APC

You still do not get it!


And in this past election,you can't say Oshiomole/Edo APC failed if truly you understand the politics of Nigeria(south-south politics precisely).

if you ask me, he rode on his average performance during his first term to convince or better still deceive Edo people to vote him in for a second term. Its glaring now that he has failed and the Edos can't wait to boot him and his APC agents out of office.
