Remove the log from your eye before seeking to remove the speck from mine, Mr. "Agbado sifu"! You need that peace and re-orientation more, boy, obviously.

All noise and no substance—typical. Take it or leave it; you guys don't even have what it takes to compete with the Yorubas. It's not about noise—the facts are staring you in the face.

Lol! So according to this 'JC Okechukwu,' apparently your kinsman, it was the 'Agbado sifu' who started tribalism, right? If I may ask, who are these 'Agbado sifu'? The same 'Agbado sifu' who employed hundreds of your people as civil servants in their region? These same 'Agbado sifu' provided you with opportunities to thrive in their land. The regional governments of the same 'Agbado sifu' are responsible for paying the WAEC fees of your children in their secondary schools without discrimination. You guys are all over the land of these same 'Agbado sifu'—from Lagos to Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara, and part of Kogi—doing your business and owning properties. The 'Agbado sifu' have never stopped you. The fact is that you enjoy in the land of the 'Agbado sifu' what you lack in your own land, yet you wickedly accuse them of tribalism! Come on, what's that if not ungratefulness?

As for Tekno or whatever you call him, trust me, nobody would know him if he had not taken his business to the land of the 'Agbado sifu.' That's a fact. And who is 'Harry'? Is he or she another of your kinsmen? My advice to him or her: remove the log from your eye before seeking to remove the speck from someone else's. And speaking of achievements, believe it or not, you don't even come close to the 'Agbado sifu.' Like I said earlier, they are superior to you in every sphere—the facts are all there.

You know, it's just like the saying: empty barrels make the loudest noise. Think about that, man.
Your own be like peak milk

Does anyone doubt that this country is in a decline....

When are we going to sit down together and decide if we are going to move forward, then how we are going to do that.

Because 66 years after independence and 27 years of 5th Republic democracy, we just seem unable to move forward in any way, shape or form as regarding almost every facet of life.

I cannot imagine that the citizens of this country are comfortable with this present situation. It is not natural, not logical and not human not to seek a way out.
Decline na when you dey go down o
E don pass decline tey tey

You guys from the other side are upset because a white man confessed his truth regarding Fela's music. I wonder how you would feel if you heard about the extensive research that numerous American universities—such as the University of California (UCLA), Harvard University, and the University of Massachusetts—have conducted on the songs of a certain Yusuf Olatunji, another Yoruba musical legend. The truth is that music is Yoruba, and Yoruba is music.

Those who think they can discredit the Yorubas or pull them down are only deceiving themselves. The Yorubas are not ordinary beings. They are spiritual people— divinely favoured. Their language is not only tonal and musical but also very spiritual. This is why it is a global phenomenon. A simple research will convince you if you're in doubt or don't understand my drift.

Can you all please get over this unhealthy competition with the Yorubas? They are obviously superior to you in every sphere.
Which other side?
Which competition ?
SERIOUS Universities do RESEARCH
I know it's hard to believe due to the horrible state of tertiary education here but it's the truth
JC Okechukwu posted something recently and it was so true i had to applaud
He said up until the Agbado sifu came up with tribalism no igbo person bragged about achievements
Heck even Harry was attacked for calling out bad Lgas in your region when he was doing the same elsewhere without any attacks
So again i ask what competition?
Ariesbull wrote a nice piece on how Fela's personal life made him unattractive to other regions and it is a fact
Nobody is downplaying his contribution to music
Tekno said the truth when he said he listened to other musicians more than Fela
Please let go of tribalism

oga who is talking about yeni and femi recording? Sure you are ok? I told you that seun kuti got $100k from felas catalogue, so imagine what the other kids got last year too from that same catalogue. I hope you also know that Tpain and wiz Khalifa sold their discography for over $100m, so imagine how much burna stands to make if he sells his discography.
Thanks to digital streaming platforms like Spotify, YouTube, Tidal, and ITunes even Fela is still printing money from his grave,
That's what i replied to
No online music site will pay you mad money unless you're a megastar
The money you are referring to most likely came from a record label and also keep in mind that musicians exaggerate at times to inflate their worth

you are very funny. Why did you leave out fela and went straight to MJ? You heard that seun kuti received over $100k in a year from family and mind you fela had numerous kids, how much did you think the total cash shared was?
Are you intentionally dense or what?
100k from Fela's music comes from music labels defunct or active not online
Snoop got 40k DOLLARS from online platforms with over a billion plays
Make una slow down with the cap o

Burna boy can't go broke, if you understand true wealth, you'd know that his money is eternal. Thanks to digital streaming platforms like Spotify, YouTube, Tidal, and ITunes even Fela is still printing money from his grave, Micheal jackson is also printing billions of dollars even after his demise. He is a creative/an artist, he added value humanity by contributing through his music/art.
This is the rubbish you people keep saying when infact it's the opposite
Online platforms don't pay as much as you believe to creatives
Heck there is a reason why every creative advertises like crazy for views over here
You can't compare a creative abroad to those here
Just like Whatsapp statuses that say they have sold out while the truth is they haven't sold jack it's all an illusion

What’s this supposed to be, the crowd?

I thought they were contesting for the
presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, not the chairmanship of a local government.

I honestly doubt this “crowd” is even 50 people. If a candidate contesting for local government chairman cannot attract more than this, the decent thing to do would be to save himself the embarrassment, quietly withdraw, and disappear from the political stage.

After election, they will start screaming that Peter Obi was rigged out. Now see the nonsense they are showing us.
